Einfach zum installieren die Einstellungen sind übersdichtlich. Die Mobil Version benütze ich schon mehrere Jahre. Die Desktop variante sollte an die Mobile Versionen angepasst werden.

Picture Echo is an impressive tool for finding and comparing similar photographs. The program allows the user to dispose of duplicates as well as reuniting photos missing from its group. This could be photos which were bracketed when originally taken, or all photos taken from a particular place… but the user lost track of where they were stored. I am guilty of doing this and I am sure you are also, to some degree.
What PictureEcho will not do effectively is to find copies of your photo backups located elsewhere – as in: which folder or drive or cloud did I copies in? For this task – use SorcimTechnology ’s Clone File Checker which looks for exact copies of files that were “misplaced” or overzealously backed up and backed up again.
I made the mistake of having Picture Echo check EVERYWHERE for similar photos – the process took over two hours for roughly 2 TB of data. I didn’t care about clip art, but it found tens of thousands of these files anyways – with no way to filter your results.
I soon realized that Picture Echo’s strength is in the AI it uses to able to distinguish the photo’s composition. The program also uses metadata as well. Picture Echo was easily capable of grouping my photos together after being strewn all over cyberspace. I was able to have it explore my local drives as well as Google Drive/Photos and Microsoft’s OneDrive.
Your photo’s cloud storage area (or thumb drive/DVD) must be mapped to your file explorer. I had a problem with the program occasionally not being able to see these. Logging into the cloud drives and THEN starting the program solved this issue.
Where Picture Echo shines is in the finding of the main types of duplicates and near—duplicate photos you may have stored. Here’s what I found it useful at doing:
1 Photos which have already been touched up, but the “garbage” associated with your edits, generations after generations of corrections and the originals associated with them, have been knowingly or unknowingly leaving scraps behind.
2 Photos that were bracketed when originally taken but were lost and are wasting space… somewhere.
3 Photos that needed to be compressed for external processing (usually for client’s email mailbox size limitations) … which thankfully has become less and less of a nuisance.
4 Overlapping portfolios, collections or themes across the Cloud.
I kept the “sensitivity” settings at 80% (Which they call similarity threshold). At the lower thresholds It wasn’t very accurate to the exact sunset in the exact location… but it did guess it was grouping all my sunsets – or what LOOKED like sunsets.
Once I figured out its main purpose – it does it very well. Just remember, the more work you give it to do – the slower the processing.

My registration key was not working after I purchased Clone Files Checker so I emailed support about 15 mins later and they were very quick to get back to me with a response which solved my issue immediately. They were very helpful and my registration worked fine and I have had no problems using the software.

I was urgently seeking a program that would rename files in folders and I needed it to be idiot proof as I am 57 years old and not that quick on software these days, I was dubious as I downloaded and then paid my subscription for the license - well I have to say "kudos to you Sorcim" you really achieved what you set out to do and claimed online - the program is a little heaven sent beauty - I was able to lift out individual characters, add in numbers without brackets - change anything and everything so smoothly and the finest feature of all I could see it change in real time before I committed to the file batch rename. Some three thousand sequential files were done in a matter of minutes - legend!

Clone File check program works incredibly well. My hard drive went from almost full to under half full when using this program. I definitely give my enthusiastic recommendations to this duplicate file program.

It took a while to finally connect with them. But once I did they were very helpful and explained everything I wanted to know.

Fast and easy, I emailed with a problem and quick and easy was the resolution. Most of the time when I have a problem I just let it go and move on to another , but with CFC "Clone File Checker" I would not give up that easy.

Muy buena aplicación para eliminar ficheros duplicados. En mi caso pude hacer el scan a 6 discos externos y un NAS remoto y llegue a eliminar 1.6T de espacio muy rápida y efectivamente. Recomiendo esta aplicación. Le doy 5 puntos!!

I needed a product to find and help me eliminate duplicate photographs. Picture Echo was perfect and was super easy to use. I had one occasion to seek customer support (My issue, not theirs) and received immediate and very helpful assistance. I absolutely would recommend this product.
