We had 2 Hard drives fail at same time 1 was backup they asked us if we wanted hard drives replaced we said yes they replaced them and didn't retrieve our data from damaged drives we lost everything then tryed to blame us saying it was our responsibility we had been with them several years and now treated like crap I would advise anybody considering using this company to stay well clear they are absolute disgrace and do not care about there customers and no support at all they put it in rescue mode but there was nothing to recover they didn't copy data from damaged drives what are we supposed to do wave a magic wand we lost everything and they didn't care wat a joke

Ãtant donné que les comptes sont consolidés au niveau du groupe OVHcloud, cette absence de rectification remet en question la sincérité de la comptabilité consolidée et la rigueur des contrÃŽles internes.

My server went down due to a hardware failure. It wouldn't come back online afterwards. Rather than make sure the server was functional again they just put it into rescue mode and then told me to figure it out. Seriously? Who does that? I have idea what I'm supposed to do with this thing now.

Ive been a customer for more than 2 years. They deleted my server because i did not managed to pay the invoice in time. I had a lot of important files in my server and they deleted all my files very quickly, not everyone read emails unfortunately but ok i understand. The main problem is that the support is useless and they will start talk like a robot using copy-paste texts
Not only that but they gave me to pay the invoice manually in order to restore the server (they say), before i paid the invoice they said to me:

They have lied to me saying that my server was not canceled but suspended, after i paid the invoice to continue with my server they said i didnt paid my invoice in time and my server was deleted, after i paid for this month already! so they just took my money without giving my server back, i will issue a chargeback with my credit card company for this
They are the worst company, no wondering they are rated 1.5! I dont recommend!

I have been a So You Start (SyS) customer for several years now and have always had a bare metal server with them.
When things work, they work well, but when things go wrong, they go very badly wrong!
Should you encounter any server fault, they will do anything and everything to try to pass the blame onto you and deny any issues on their side.
Also, their complete lack of customer service is frightening! In 2023 to have to wait for a minimum of two days for a response relating to a fault or issue with your server is beyond me.
My current ticket was opened on December 7; I responded the next day, and now I'm still awaiting any response to that, so 4 days later and no response.
In their initial response, they said, "..our support is unfortunately more solicited than usual..." WHAT??!!
So, if you're happy to 'go it alone' they're okay, but be warned, when things go wrong, there's definitely no help from them!

Su sistema de facturación falla como una escopeta de feria, y sumado a lo que he dicho anteriormente ya te puedes preparar para que se caiga todo lo que tienes ahà y se pase varios dÃas parado sin que te hagan ni puñetero caso.

After 6 years of faultless service Soyoustart decided to start charging for IP addresses, because they introduced this randomly and outside our renewal period this was missed. We've now lost access to all the VMs running on the servers without warning... Avoid at all costs.

Arnaque flagrante : Serveur payé pour environ 700 euros pour l'année et le résultat est clair et sans équivoque.
Voici le message du support :
"Le paiement ayant été effectué tardivement, .... Ne voyait pas cette facture comme une facture de renouvellement, mais plutÎt, comme une facture de régularisation. En vous remerciant pour votre retour, je reste à votre disposition pour toute autre demande."
Donc au final, débité de 700 ⬠pour ne pas avoir de serveur hormis une réponse d'une personne qui ne semble même pas savoir écrire correctement le français...
Plus de temps à perdre avec ces arnaqueurs, ce litige est maintenant entre les mains de notre service juridique.

Shady practices
After SYS started their new Eco range of servers with OVH, they completely debilitated the Game DDoS protection for our server that we've had for years and never had any issues with DDoS.
The DDoS that we're now observing on our server is not a new type of attack, it's a really simple TCP attack, yet it is not mitigated.
I believe they intentionally weakened the DDoS protection to make us migrate to the new servers that go for much higher prices.
We were in contact with the "support" for a month, they must think we're technically completely unskilled and they respond with complete nonsense.
What they are doing seems like illegal practices, but I guess we're too small of a fish to do anything about it.
I'd never recommend this company to anyone. Not anymore!

Auto payment never works so they send you an email asking you to pay.
Missed one of these emails. Was happy and ready to pay if I had known. Without any further communication, they have deleted my server and will not reply to emails.
As far as I know, they deleted everything. Just about the worst experience, I have had in the hosting world
The Halloween of customer service
Sheer horror, but in the cheapest most laughable way possible. Your server could be on fire and they would tell you to fix your configuration and refer you to one of their partners.
They do not issue service credits no matter how long you are down. They make illogical arguments but always ask how they can help you, but if you actually ask for help they refuse. It's classic customer service deflection 101. Show interest, provide nothing.
If you do choose to purchase hosting from SYS, you should consider it basically an as-is no support service and if you are lucky you won't have issues. Do not use this as a primary hosting platform, you will be very sorry.

Je réalise un achat sur leur plateforme et ils me débitent 4 fois !!! Je les contacte et ils me disent que "non tout va bien" (pour faire court). J'ai du insister plusieurs fois pour qu'ils prennent le temps de vérifier et en effet j'avais raison ils se sont excusé pour le "triplons" du coup ils sont d'accord de me rembourser 3 commandes sur 4.... Le remboursement est toujours en cours, je n'ai pas encore été remboursé. Je n'ai pas non plus eu droit à un geste commercial... J'ai décidé de ne plus faire appel à leurs services. J'ai résilié et ils me demandent encore 22⬠!!! Pour des services que je n'ai même pas utilisés !
Du vol simplement! J'ai contacté plusieurs personne chez OVH mais visiblement tout le monde s'en fiche ... Les avis trustpilot reflÚtent bien la mauvaise expérience du service. J'aurais du vérifier avant d'essayer...

I've been running 8 dedicated servers with "so you start" for more than 6 years now, and I haven't got any single problem. And the DDoS protection is extremely good, and it never disappointed me.
People saying that their support is non-existing are TOTALLY wrong. People complaining about their support usually make support tickets but don't call them directly, and support replay for our tickets between 2 hours and 24 hours.
If I need more servers, I will definitely choose "so you start" as they're just good.
Also, don't believe all the negative reviews, as I can assure you that 90% of them are the fault of the customer.

Ils m'ont dit conformément à nos CGV, une fois que le serveur est supprimé, on ne le remet pas même si vous réglez la somme due.
