Save your money and do not even think on renting a server from them.

-They rarely respond to your messages.

-Their reset password system sucks! I was locked outside of my server without being able to restart it for a LONG time and they simply do NOT respond.

-Their website has a lot of basic failures.

-The server was suppose to be able to run x amount of programs, It was disappointing when I found out it ran maybe up to 70%.

Bottom line is, I've never had such a bad services before, save your money, save the headache and disappointment.

Unreal speeds decent support and cheap what more can you ask from a company will buy more

Mildly Good servers and uptime.

Soyoustart is actually good, the panel works ok, the setup for servers is ok, but the variety of servers is not enough.
The setup fees must be lower, why would you want to pay 60 for setup fees while the server is only 33? You should make this setup fee not the baseline, but make it a subscription (lease) kind of thing, i am sure more customers would stay with SYS.

But overall i had a pleasant experience with very little downtime and also please warn your customers up forehand if you are hacked because i suddenly had people from Algeria logging in to my account and i am sure i was not hacked.

Good servers with low costs but I ordered an /28 (16 IP's) from NL and I got FR IP's? and the support is slow but what do you expect with that low price. SYS is good if your are an professional that doesn't need any support.

Great hosting company just like its parent OVH. Fast setups, easy control panel, BEST DDOS/MITIGATION, great support, all that+their low prices!

Client chez eux depuis un moment, je ne rencontre aucun problème.
Service client réactif (réponse aux tickets dans l'heure généralement).

Le pire hébergeur jamais vu. Ne vous dites surtout pas que les avis nuls affichés sur ce site sont venus de gens ne s'y connaissant pas. Entre TOUS les VPS que j'ai jamais acheté, c'est le pire... Aucun service client, problèmes de ports (pas habituel chez d'autres hébergeurs)... Un massacre cet hébergeur, 110 $ dans la poubelle.

Cette branche d'OVH est le pire hébergeur avec lequel nous avons travaillé. Je vous conseille d'héberger vos données ailleurs! je vous ai prévenu. Dés qu'il s'agit d'un petit souci, on suspend votre compte directement sans vous donner le temps de récupérer vos données, sachant que le seul moyen pour les contacter est par courier postal!! on est en 2018 J'hallucine !

I used to run servers on this company pre-2016 and they were great, support was great too!

I ordered a server and i thought i was ordering windows 2016 but there was non so i ended up ordering 2012, i contacted support they told me that its only available on their "higher" tier, so i paid $50 + $60 setup fees for first server then they asked me to order again and they will convert the setup fees + remaining days onto my newer server. After that they link me to an automated system from "OVH" and I kept telling that I cannot get the task done to terminate my service, so after few days they realized that the mistake was that they posted link to OVH site not "soyoustart" so they fixed that and I was credited only 10 days! for $30 + $60, they wasted about 5 days just trying to get me to terminate the service and did not even credit me whole month for the setup fee they promised. I asked for refund on my newer server that I was trying to startup with them, and they completely declined that as well, its only been few days and things were not going great.

Company is not what it used to be, if you go with other company and ask for an immediate termination of a server you will get your credit correctly, here are just some monkies clicking buttons not making any necessary changes to fulfill your needs.

Ridiculous company! Ordered dedicated server On october 30, They asked provide documents, proofs to verify my identity. I did it! Paid 20 euros "setup" fee, for sever 40 euros and taxes 12 euros 72 euro in total. Support in 10 days answered me two message in my 20 messages! NEVER EVER AGAIN SOYOUSTART!

SoYouStart... On vois bien que c'est une branche d'OVH, encore pire que celle-ci même... Je vais détailler le tout du positif au négatif.

Positif:
- Le prix
- Rapidité de la commande
- Possibilité de 16 IPs sans frais mensu.
- Anti-DDoS
- Le serveur et l'infra autour

Négatif:
- Le panel... Rien ne va, il est instable, il affiche des erreurs arbitrairement sans raisons apparentes.
- Le support... J'ai déclaré un incident dû à un problème d'affichage du panel rendant la configuration de mon serveur impossible (Je vous l'avait bien dit que ce panel étais loin d'être au point). Bref, 72h après, un "Technicien support IT" me transmet enfin qu'il avait transmit le problème à un administrateur... Je n'ai toujours pas accès à la configuration de mon serveur via le panel alors que j'en ai grandement besoin pour y configurer ma nouvelle IP fraichement achetée. Au moment où j'écris cet avis, mon problème n'est toujours pas résolu...

Servers always out of stock, prices used to be reasonable but now with the setup fees they are overprices, especially because the support isn't the best.

Had a Gaming server 2 which I upgraded to a Server 3. I WISH i went with the competition.

I had to pay a set up fee even tho im an existing customer.

BUT the most annoying part is the Windows Key activation. Its Been 24 hours (longer than the 30mins they told me) And still i cant install my server, I have opened a support ticket on Friday at 12 noon and NO REPLIES.

I will be cancelling my order and recommend you avoid this company, pay cheap for CRAP SUPPORT!

J’utilise une solution SYS depuis 2016, et pour le prix du serveur + coût IP, je n’ai pas trouvé mieux en termes de tarif. Cependant, et c’est une information que j’ai remontée à plusieurs reprises, il y a des problèmes récurrents de perte de paquets chez ce prestataire. Malgré mes nombreuses remontées, je ne suis jamais vraiment pris au sérieux. Il semblerait que je ne sois pas le seul dans ce cas, car d’autres locataires de serveurs dédiés rencontrent également ce problème (j’en ai discuté en recherchant dans les plages d’IP de mon serveur principal puis en contactant par mail).

J’héberge différents services de VOIP avec une qualité de connexion qui oscille entre 72 % et 95 % à certains moments. Le ping vers Google reste relativement stable, mais la perte de paquets entre SYS et Google est bien constatée.

Si vous prenez un serveur chez eux, je vous garantis que vous rencontrerez ce problème, vous ne pourrez pas dire que vous n’avez pas été prévenu.

Cela dit, j’ai un VPS chez OVH et je n’ai aucun problème de qualité réseau. Il semblerait que ce problème concerne principalement SYS et son réseau.

Bought a product that suppose to have VMware 6.5 but instead came with 5.0 which is End-Of-Life product... calling support they said that they have to update the product description of website... to change the product with the right one i had to buy another one? this sounds like a SCAM, so Stay off this site! Whatever is on the website, is not up-2-date. D>

Bought a dedicated game server almost 2 weeks ago, theres no support, not even opened when they say they are, they dont answer tickets nor do they answer phone calls, this is a scam, I spent 55$ on a server I STILL DONT HAVE IT. Absolutely a scam

Just called support today.
Apprently the server i just ordered is "Out of Stock", because i brought it on Black Friday.

They gave me no "ETA" on when its ready, just that my order went through and i will get it when they get new servers.
That means that they have my money, but i have no server...

If anything changes, ill update the review.

Been a SyS customer for 6 years now. They are dirt cheap for game servers.

That's it.

There is almost nothing else good about their service.

If you're ok with that. This is the company for you.

I rent their Game-3 service, used to rent Game-2. They have recently reconfigured offerings and disallow windows use on some of these machines without cause other than to force windows users into more expensive hardware. They expect me to believe they found intel hardware somewhere that is incompatible with windows. Yea, sure thing Sys.

If you rent from SyS forget about having accurately written guides or resources. They will just link you to OHV who's web design and options don't match up to SYS at all.

When you need to ask them for help, you'll be sure to wait a few days for a response. When they do respond expect them to ignore all of the information you originally sent them, and be asked to run unrelated troubleshooting tasks.

I've spent a TON of time diagnosing problems that turned out to be the results of poorly implemented web features.

We have had NON-stop network issues with these machines since the DAY we started using them. Once we find a sweet spot we have to stay hands-off these machines or many players will be unable to reach them for reasons that NO ONE can determine because SYS techs are clueless.

Trying to run a profit-free gaming community. These servers have made that almost impossible. No one wants to play on machines that are so difficult to access from a wide variety of locations, but all are well within an acceptable range.

I have been using Kimsufi/SYS for ~7 years and have not had a single issue with their servers.

It can be a pain that sometimes their servers are not available when I want them but you can use a Kim/SYS availability checker (Google!) to get an email notification when they are available.

Have referred to numerous people, and will continue doing so!
