Sent half my order labelled parcel 1 of 1. No explanation, no reply to 4 emails over 8 days. Reported fraud to my bank and requested refund. These guys have gone to shit.

Bad to Worse

Bad to worse; never again.
After a bad experience last year decided to give Sparesbox one more try as in past years used to be very good. OMG what a mistake. Ordered 10 days ago. One component of three in the order arrived today. No communication on why only part order and where is the rest. No contact number that answers. Live chat unavailable, email contact form unanswered and tracking doesn’t work; still says the whole consignment is yet to be allocated a number. HELLO I received part of it today. Wow what a way to run a business.

Poor customer service re contact and delivery

Like all the other recent posts I’m stuck awaiting delivery for parts that were in stock and have no means of contacting customer support. Does anyone have a direct phone contact or email address the one listed on the website appears to be crashed or full of other customer complaints

Very disappointed as they use to be quite good.

Unable to communicate with the support team

I am currently in the middle of dealing with the support team and it is a massive struggle. I am unable to email back after attempting several times I finally got my first reply back. Today I got a reply and it did not acknowledge anything that had been said in previous emails including the fact that one of my items was unavailable, which I had to ask to find out. In this reply it just said that my order would be shipped soon. And now I feel like my money and time is just being pissed about.

Took to long in store to be sent...

Took to long in store to be sent.... ordered things from different company's who done there best to achieve good customer service and there things were sent within a few days....in total I had another 3 things sent a week after ordering from you and they all arrived earlier....not good enough sorry

Wrong Product & Poor after sales service

Edit: Wrong product appears to be an issue with the parts register and not this company.

I've been provided a phone apology and refund. As such rating has been amended from 1 to 3 stars.

Wrong Product.
I purchased parts for my car based on the website advice which indicated they were the correct part for my vehicle. My mechanic advised they are not the correct size.

Non existent after sales service.
I've tried to contact Sparesbox via email, online form, phone and chat with no success. The email and online form received no reply. Phone uses the excuse they can't answer the phone because of COVID, that's hardly a valid excuse, ever other business can still answer phones. The phone also says to use the online chat, however the online chat always says "Sorry, we are not online at the moment".

I'm shocked and disappointed in this company.

Surprisingly fast delivery

I ordered some Eibach suspension springs on 4th March, there was a notice that it could be delayed and may take 15-30 business days before being shipped. But I wasn't in any great hurry, and the price was discounted (lowest I could find online) with free shipping. Only afterwards did I decide to look at reviews for Sparesbox... many many 1 stars, orders taking forever or eventually refunded, been given the wrong item etc. I was a bit concerned, maybe I should've ordered from another supplier?

To my surprise and delight, I got an email on the 10th March (6 days later) that my order had been shipped. I was expecting at least a month based on the reviews. Sure enough, I picked it up from the post office a couple of days ago. The correct item had been shipped exactly as ordered, packaging a little worse for wear but no damage to the item.

So I'm guessing they already had my item in stock and wasn't back-ordered, which seems to be the main issue with delays. My experience was surprisingly good, no complaints with the delivery time and discounted price.

The worst company in auto parts

Ordered a tool trolley over 5 weeks ago and for over a month it has been "being prepared for shipment". I contacted the only customer service option they have and was told "I can confirm that your ordered items are now fully reserved for you at our warehouse, and we expect your order to be packed and prepared for dispatch shortly."
This was 10 days ago and it still says "being prepared for shipment"...
Last time I ordered through these muppets they took 8 weeks to deliver me brake rotors and claimed they werent in stock, despite advertising them as being in stock throughout the entire 8 weeks.

Dont bother with Sparesbox ever.... ever!

EDIT: Now over 9 weeks and still "being prepared for shipment" after being told it was ready to be sent...

I purchased a starter motor for my car


I purchased a starter motor for my car which their site would fit. It has completely different mountings. I have tried to phone but they do not answer I have also sent emails with no response. It seems like a lot of people are in the same situation. If I don't get a response I will go to their warehouse and demand a refund.

Very frustrated with the communication


Very frustrated with the customer service. Have tried so MANY times to contact them thru emails, filling out support forms with them etc. No one ever replies. Terrible company to deal with we have been trying to RETURN our Order 1657682 for a smaller size. Nothing from them at all. This is very stressful . What sort of a business is this??? There customer service is the worst, very disappointed
