Clay pigeon and target shooting with air rifle.
Fantastic afternoon shooting.
Vince who looked after us was amazing, took time to show you how to handle the guns and tips for getting our aim right.
Paul in the shop was really helpful with buying a pair of binoculars.
Great place well kept and clean.
All staff very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about all things to do with shooting.
Would recommend for for a safe experience shooting.

Excellent service and prompt replies on email, great customer care. Logan was very helpful with picking out the parts I needed. Gunstock and fore end came very carefully and professionally packed.

I have just attended the shotgun skills course which was so helpful and informative. John who took the course really made it enjoyable whilst learning the importance of shotgun safety with his knowledge in the classroom then also when we went out on to the ground . I would defiantly recommend sporting targets as all the staff was helpful and welcoming throughout the whole day. I will be looking forward to booking in some lessons as the whole experience was brilliant. Thank you John and all the staff.

The best shooting ground I’ve used there is something for every level of shooter.
Has a great cafe with free tea and coffee and the staff are great.
Highly recommend a visit.

Purchased my first gun and Logun and the team were fantastic, a wealth of knowledge and experience, they have my complete loyalty and wouldn’t want to shop anywhere else. Thanks guys and catch you on the clay ground!

First review although I have shopped here several times. (I use airguns, not shotguns.) Good range of products and can look around as much as I want without feeling any pressure. Paul is the man in the shop. He will help with anything. If something needs to happen, he will ensure it gets done. So, always a pleasure to visit, browse, and find something to buy. The food in the restaurant is top quality too.

Myself, husband and daughter came today for clay shooting, archery and air rifle. Vince was our guide and he was brilliant and patient. Thank you for a great experience.

Had a great clay shooting lesson with Bob at Sporting Targets.
Bob warmly greeted my wife and me, and he took the time to explain all the safety rules & the how to hold the gun correctly.
We went to various stands around the grounds (which are very large) & shot different styles of trap (not sure of the correct terminology).
I was amazed that with Bob's expert guidance I actually hit a fair few clays!.
Unfortunately, it appears my wife is a better shot than me!!
We then headed back to the clubhouse for a quick tea & coffee. And I must say the clubhouse is very smart, with a restaurant area, a casual dining area and a bar!.
All in all, a great time spent at Sporting Targets.

Highly recommend Sporting Targets, we booked a company Team Building day, they made everything from start to finish so easy, the entire team was super friendly and helpful and my entire team had a great day with them. Would not hesitate to book with them again.

Made an enquiry to Paul in the shop about a Yeti product, promised to get back to me. Chased him several days, yes days later and he promised to get back to me. Over a week later, still not heard back. Waste of time. Can’t use my membership discount if he doesn’t respond. Clearly not interested.

Great experience for friends coming to visit from up north. We were lucky enough to have Bob instruct our taster session of clay shooting, air rifle and archery. We loved it so much we are making it an annual competition/trip. Again, couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

We have been going to Sporting Targets to practice for years and love the setup and the family friendly feel. It has made introducing my 12 yr old son to shooting easy, he had a lesson and loved it. The next few visits we rented a gun from the shop and now he’s hooked. Paul in the shop was a massive help to source a suitable gun for my son. I was particularly impressed when we collected the gun, Paul treated my son with great respect and shared lots of useful tips and made the experience a truly memorable one.

It was my first experience of clay pigeon shooting today, I loved it. Vince was a great instructor who made me feel at ease. I actually hit more than I thought I would, definitely recommend and will be back, thank you ☺️

Different to the other reviews here, I was an online customer buying from their shop. Had a good experience, with queries promptly answered and the item concerned delivered well packaged.

We hosted a corporate day at Sporting Targets with clients and the feedback has been very positive. The staff were friendly and engaging and the day was run very well. The site offers a good selection of stands offering a diverse range of shooting. I could not fault the day.

What a great day out! We booked 2hrs clay pigeon tuition for our poker group. Great organisation, friendly team and brilliant training. Without doubt, you won't be disappointed

Great day shooting, 6 of the 8 of us had never shoot before but the instructor very helpful and ensured everyone enjoyed the experience. We will definitely book again.

I actually booked my session at sporting targets on 2nd November 2024, with one of those experience gift cards. I swapped it from some other experience that had no appeal to me at all. I arrived at Sporting Targets somewhat apprehensive of what the day was going to offer.

The experience was amazing, I really enjoyed it, I had no previous experience with shotguns. I even managed to hit a fair few targets as well. My only regret, I completely forgot to make a note of the gentleman's name that hosted myself and my wife for the morning. He was very professional, with a good sense of humour, and added to the whole experience.

I would thoroughly recommend Sporting Targets for an excellent day out, thank you.

Excellent experience. Did it as a family (12 y/o, 15 y/o and 2 adults. Each of us loved it. Did the riffles, archery and clay pigeon shooting. Fast paced, great support and advice from Rob our teacher.
Will go back and would highly recommend.
