Do not recommend!
Spring Move promised an experience different to the other quick sell companies and failed to live up to their claims.
They sit amongst all the other low-balling companies and spent a week wasting everybody’s time including our onward purchase chain.
Our property was valued at £190k and had two accepted offers of £189k and £183k, both of which fell through due to first time buyers failing mortgage applications.
The property next door to us sold 6 months ago for £185k in a non refurbished standard and is an identical replica of our house without the renovations we undertook.
Spring Move valued our property at £180k and offered us £140k-£145k subject to survey. They know that our outstanding balance on the property is £152k and still thought it would be a good customer experience to offer below our equity amount.
Online searches suggest they offer 95% of market value, but as per the above, this is untrue. Their own leadership have articles on their website promising to be different to quick sell companies and promise to offer fair prices.
I’ll let you make the judgement call on whether our offer is fair..

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly at such a time-sensitive stage in your onward move.
After an internal review, we believe our team did their best to assist you with your home sale, including contacting your chain, but given your circumstances and requirements, a Spring Sale would have been unlikely to work. Usually, we can negotiate with chains to improve the offer, in exchange for the chain staying intact, which in the case of your chain we were unable to do.
Ideally, if we had known this at the outset, we would have declined to make an offer. We have notified the referrer in this case to include more info on the chain going forward to avoid this situation in the future.
Spring’s Chain Repair service is ideal for customers who prioritise speed, certainty, and a guaranteed sale and our pricing reflects the risk and costs of delivering that outcome for our customers. We are transparent that our service may not work for everyone. We are very sorry we weren’t able to help you secure your onward move on this occasion. We wish you all the best with your home sale.
Excellent service and support from…
Excellent service and support from Spring's team from start to finish, from initial contact to agreed final offer, then through their purchase of our property to end of occupation. The flexibility offered by 'licence to occupy', which allowed us to remain in our existing property rent free whilst we made updates to our new purchase was so useful.
We were able to act as a 'cash purchaser' for our move and avoid all the risk and stress associated with being in a 'chain'. Of course this came at a cost, but one we felt was very worthwhile.
Particular thanks to Rebecca Young, (Acquisition Team Leader) for her exceptional professional and personal support, flexibility, honest guidance through to very fair offer to purchase, then Simon Homes and Michael Ogden for their roles taking us through Spring's purchase and property management. All responded quickly to our queries and supported us all the way.

Spring were great to deal with in…
Spring were great to deal with in regards to saving a chain. From the very beginning they dealt with external issues that needed resolving and did so in a timely manner. Antonio Kolic, has been excellent from the very beginning with great communication and updates if we were ever in need.

I work for an Estate Agency and have been in the industry 14 years. As you can imagine i come across the good and the bad in the industry in this time period. I have also come across many different methods to sell a property and Springmove with out doubt has been one of the simplest and smoothest companies to deal with. I have now worked with them for around 6 years. I can not speak highly enough of Samson Lyndon. He is efficient and knowledgeable through out all the process. I have never gone a day waiting for an update or answer which makes my life easy when dealing with my clients. I am so confident using Samson at Spring i currently have 4 transactions going through with him.

Spring were very efficient
Spring were very efficient & made the purchase of our property so easy. Such a shame that there ended up being a completely unexpected chain which prolonged the whole procedure; sadly in the end it took 20 weeks to complete on our sale & purchase which caused a lot of stress - this was no fault on Spring’s part; just our onward purchase & chain.

Moving was easy and stress free
The process was really easy and stress free, which is what you want when moving house. My advisor Paul Martin explained everything, at every stage & was always able to answer my questions in a friendly manner. All of the hard stuff was done for me. I would recommend Paul & Spring.

Property Sale to Spring
The selling of our home was quick and stress free. Charlotte Kingcome and Aston McClennan at Spring were very polite and efficient and kept us informed all the way. If you want to sell a property quickly and can do without the stress and legal fees then I can’t recommend Spring Enough
