The cabin numbering and allergenes…
The cabin numbering and signage were unclear. Allergen information should be displayed next to the food. At breakfast, the gluten-free breads were kept separate—thanks for that!

In the end, we set sail.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call before the ferry departed, asking how far we were from the port. Although we missed the scheduled departure, the port staff very willingly rebooked us the next morning, and we could set sail right away on the morning ferry. The cabin was clean and tidy. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

Overall a pleasant first time experience.
The ground staff on the outward journey were polite and helpful, not so much so on the return journey.
The signage seemed to confuse a lot of people including myself (lane control and exiting on return in a lane which was clearly marked on the tarmac with the letters no entry! ).
The lounge areas were clean and tidy and the staff on board were very helpful and friendly on both trips.

The check in at the docks, very helpful, very welcoming.
Check in to the lounge, a very warm welcome.
Food was good. The lounge is exceptionally good.
Service good, range of food good. Seating good.
Nothing negative.

The whole experience is good from start to finish.
Staff are efficient and friendly.
Ship is beautifully appointed.
Ticketing works well.
The only thing that slightly irks me is the need to purchase WiFi access.

STENA provide all the assistance I require making for a pleasurable trip.
Now 81, I don't walk well and Stena help me to travel in comfort to and from Europe.
I find the staff both helpful and friendly, the ships are comfortable and with good food & drink the ferry is a most pleasant part of my trips.
