Over priced
First off, reading some of the other reviews, you should never pay anyone to put on a watch bracelet. Its a simple process and a watch repair kit with basic tools is $20 on ebay. That being said strapcode bracelets are not bad. A bit over priced imo for the finish. If you have a large wrist like myself they will not give you the links needed to fit and charge $15 a link plus shipping. Thats highway robbery.
Bracelet Defective Strapcode Not Interested
I've recently taken delivery of a Strapecode bracelet for my Seiko Samurai Limited Edition watch, I orderd it through Amazon UK. Before fitting the bracelet I had to remove 3 links so that it fit my wrist, once fitted it I was admiring it on my wrist and found a manufacturing defect on one end link. Unfortunately after seeing the defect I now see it every time I look at my watch. Given these bracelets are expensive I decided to send photographs clearly identifying the defect to Strapcode and asked them to send me a replacement end link to save me having to completely remove the bracelet and refit the three links then package it for return to Amazon. Their response was as follows:-
"Apologies for the experienced, we understand that you purchased a Strapcode brand bracelet from Amazon however we advised that you contact Amazon to arrange claims as they prep and fulfill orders."
I phoned Amazon who requested I return the Bracelet, which I've decided not to do due to the hassle involved in doing that. So I purchased a Strapcode bracelet average price over £100 but they have no interest in helping me with the defect, how difficult would it be for them to send me a replacement end link so I only have to remove one end of the bracelet replace the link then reattach the bracelet. This experience means there's no way I can recommend Straplink if this is how they respond to customers reporting defective products...
Bracelet fell off after a week
After wearing my bracelet from Strapcode for a week a pin fell off. Luckily I was reading in my hotel room and not swimming in the sea. Costed me $40 to put it on the watch. Will receive a new pin but it will cost me another $20-40 to have it put on. Strapcode offered 10% on my next buy to make it up. I suggested an amount equal to my extra expenses. That was declined. Except from falling apart I percieved the material quality as good. Clasp is fine. Would consider Strapcode for a new watch but not one that I take swimming. Pins might not have the right quality. Expensive to put a new bracelet on. Pin might be cheaper. Customer service quick on answers.
Very disappointed shopping experienceâŠ
Very disappointed shopping experience with Strapcode in Hong Kong, very POOR customer service /communication...
Amazing quality
I just purchased a new green crafter blue strap from strapcode. The quality is just amazing and it fits better and is more comfortable than the original steel bracelet. Also, the fit is better than the factory strap, and I am really happy that I took the gamble and got it.
Well I guess I'm in the minority here
Well I guess I'm in the minority here. I have three Bracelets a divers Clasp and one on the way, their products and quality have satisfied me. My only interaction with Customer service was a positive one and they corrected my mistake faster then I thought. Very ð
Great customer service support
I'd give 4.5 stars if this was an option. I ordered the Super-J bracelet and I received it extremely quickly in the mail. Quality was mostly great--fit and finish were great and the end links fit my Seiko Turtle perfectly. The only issue was the secondary fold-over clasp, which was a little off and didn't quite completely close. I reached out to the customer support team and Sam was incredibly helpful in helping me with the exchange for a replacement clasp. He was very prompt and clear through the entire process--he provided clear instructions on the return, how processing would work, and when I could expect shipment of my replacement clasp. I'm in the US and the entire return-replacement process from Hong Kong took just a week. New clasp works great and looks great. So 5 star rating for Sam and his support. 4 star rating for an otherwise great bracelet, minus 1 star just because the original clasp was off.
Excellent product and prompt delivery
Excellent product and prompt delivery. Very satisfied.
Purchased the black textured leather pilot strap with rivets for my black dial Breitling Navitimer. The pairing is amazing.
Rip offs don't buy direct.
Rip offs. The strap itself is OK for the Kamasu but they charge £95 for a strap they charge £66 on Amazon.
Somehow paying fees with amazon is cheaper than direct business... Or incredibly greedy.
Watch out with this company
Watch out with this company. Often the collors of the straps doesnât match with the watches. And their service is terrible.. I would never ever again buy something here again!
Damaged on delivery, not replaced.
I purchased an Oyster for my Seiko Sumo with the divers extension clasp. The bracelet arrived and I found the clasp completely smashed in and twisted. I sent photos to Sam at Strapcode, who advised me to send it to an address in Manchester for a replacement. Their company at the address Sam provided does not exist and the bracelet was retuned to me. I contacted Sam again, who advised to send it to another address. Obviously, I was somewhat reticent to do this as they don't seem to be aware of their company addresses in the UK and stated as such. Sam basically emailed back, "if you don't trust this address, try again at this one". Obviously, my level of trust is non existent at this point. I haven't received a replacement to this day. Fraudulent enterprise, stay away, DO NOT waste your money or time with this company.
False and misleading.
False and misleading.
The product they have described and illustrated on the StrapCode website is completely misleading and false.
The product i received is a cheaper less value version of what they have described and illustrated.
They refuse to acknowledge this fact.
AVOID this company at all costs
So so...nothing to get excited about
They offer a good variety of straps for Seikos and other watches and the quality is better than some of the lower end stock bracelets from Seiko but do not expect premium quality. The finish is ok but the fit is hit and miss. I expect to get a high quality product for $120+ but you are not going to get this. Customer service is slow to respond and not the best in terms of keeping the customer happy. They will do the minimum they have to get you off their backs
Could have been better but also worse
With a little bit more effort that I would have expected on my side, we ended up agreeing on everything.
Nice people, brilliant products.
Damaging watches. Deception.
- End links damaged the inside lugs on my BB58.
- They vet reviews on their website.
- If you raise the issue on social media they ask you to get in touch with their customer services and you get no reply.
Avoid.
They misleadingly sell you junk andâŠas
They misleadingly sell you junk and then try to profit from the return. I bought one Jubilee bracelet from them and three Crafter Blue Taikonaut rubber straps. The third (22mm) strap was nothing like the other two (20mm), even though it carries the same range name. Cheap, hard plasticky junk that they sell for $60, but isnât worth $20. I asked to return it for a refund and they wanted a 10% stocking fee, on top of the fact that I have to spend time and money to send it back. Furthermore, their customer service guy, Sam, was cocky about it,
Not worth my time to return the strap and have to deal with them again, but it was good to find out in a cheap way what stingy, dishonourable clowns they are.
I posted something about it on a FB Seiko Mods forum and one of their staff members turned out to be a mod, He deleted my post and decided to proceed with playing big and powerful smartarse. What shameless jokers. Stay away.
Didnât fit watch and shocking customer service!
The end links were poorly manufactured with a width slightly exceeding 22mm and didnât fit my watch without using excessive force with risk of damage.
I sent them a video as proof and they didnât want to send me a replacement without sending the faulty bracelet all the way back to China (shipping paid by me) and them inspecting it first! Absolute disgraceful service.
When I did eventually come to a conclusion, I sent it back and waited 2-3 weeks before I had to email them requesting my refund. So they basically would have kept the strap and my money if I didnât hassle them.
Awful, awful quality straps!
Stay far away from this company.
