This was my first swimming vacation and it turned out to be a phenomenal experience. The coaches Borat, Martin and Julia really are excited about what they do and made sure everyone was safe in the water and had fun on the excursions outside the water. The perfect mix for a fun swimming vacation. We will be back for more!! Thank you so much!!!

The Kolpa River swim was an excellent experience! Very well organised and guided by Borut and his team. I felt safe in the water at all moments and got great input on my swimming technique (special thanks, Martin!). Borut is always there in case of questions and has organised everything in a forward-looking manner. Great water quality and superb area. I would do it again!

Had an amazing time on the Kolpa River swimming trip in Slovenia! The service from the guides was superb and the swimming was fabulous - beautiful river, warm water, great group of swimmers - and really good food at the lunch stops. A really relaxed and fun holiday. I can't recommend this trip, or Strel Swimming Adventure Holidays, highly enough!

First time swimming holiday with Strel and I absolutely LOVED it! Highly recommend it. Borut and Martin were amazing guides and everything was very wel organised. I felt very safe in the water.
First days where in the Kolpa river, crystal clear water and so much fun. I wish I could swim daily in this river. Very fun group too. Second part was in lake Bled and Bohinj. Very different but also great experience. Very picturesque environment. If you can book some extra days to explore the region hiking, it’s absolutely stunning! Ready to book my next trip!

First time with Strel and Borut on a swimming trip, 5 days in Montenegro with a group of 18 swimmers, we had such a wonderful time, beautiful swims, very professional and relaxed leadership by Borut who clearly knows a great deal about swimming, TI, organising trips and making sure everyone feels comfortable and good about their swims every day, it was lovely and it felt great to be part of the experience, thank you! Loved every minute of this trip. The days were perfectly planned out. There was a great balance between swimming and visiting beautiful local spots. Also a lovely balance between swimming in the sea and the fjords. Food was tasty and plentiful and the hotel was gorgeous! Couldn’t recommend Strel more! I’ve already booked onto another trip in turkey!

Borut Strel and his crew are knowledgeable, experienced, enthusiastic and driven. Swimming in Montenegro is like a fairytale. However, turism is picking up and places such as Blue Cave are overcrowded. Luckily, on the boat and trips you can get away from the busy places. I would not have mind to swim some extra kilometers. Definitely would recommend this trip by Strel!

This was yet another unique and wonderful trip with Strel Swimming. Beautiful swimming spots, thoughtful organisation and great people in the group. Special thanks to Borut, Matjaz for taking care of our safety and encouraging better results and techniques. Montenegro nature was another wonder. Highly recommend!

First time booking a swim holiday with Strel-should have tried it sooner. Highly recommend!! The team were very friendly, patient and helpful throughout - they explained everything perfectly and gave useful tips on how to improve my technique moving forward. Would highly recommend!!

11 of us swimming buddies from Geraldton Western Australia spent an amazing time with Aofie and Toby on Symi island. They went out of their way to make our swimming experience an extra special one. The swimming locations were beautiful and the water was divine. Highly recommend this swim trip

A very good swimming holiday. Boat, crew, guides all exceptional. I like the fact that it hasn’t grown too large so you still experience a very personal service. Borut aims to please every customer.

Great holiday - really competent guides that were adaptable and instilled confidence. Excellent lunches and the boat provided comfortable eating arrangements and sunbeds, nothing more to ask for.

Fabulous swim trip in Bozborun with Strel. Great guides with Diane and Ilgin. boat crew were great - fab sunbathing or shade cover. Delicious lunches made in the boat and after swim Turkish tea/cake/melon. Crystal waters and friendly hotel staff. Quiet resort. My 7th swim trip - I love them. Thanks Borut and team.

What an amazing adventure. Loved every minute of the swims with beautiful venues for each swim session. Water clarity was fantastic. Borut and Iligin were fantastic hosts and guides. Our boat crew were great and the Turkish tea after every swim was most welcome. Lunch on the boat was scrumptous and varied day to day. Our group of swimmers were just wonderful and we all got on so well. Highly recommend if you're looking for a super relaxing holiday and to meet wonderful folk. I will be back. Thank you Borut

A fabulous swimming experience with Borut and Ilgin as our outstanding guides. We were taken to a whole range of gorgeous areas to swim each day and Borut and Ilgin accommodated for a wide a range of abilities. Lunch served on the boat was delicious and varied everyday, and gave the group a great chance to chat and relax between swims. The atmosphere created on the trip meant that the highlight was absolutely the wonderful group of people on the trip. This was my first swim trip and I was a bit nervous, however, I needn’t have worried. It was so much fun! I would absolutely recommend a Strel swim trip to anyone considering it.

I did the Lycian way boat trip. Fantastic swims and locations, nice people, great food.

My first time with Strel and I had a blast. Kas is a lovely town, plenty of places to eat and drink; and our swimming group was great. The gullet boat was beautiful and the food cooked up was amazing. Definitely recommend swimming with Borut and his team again; see you all next year!

Just had a fantastic swim week in Turkey. It was very well organised but flexible, taking account of weather, guest preferences and abilities; although ability-wise, you would definitely get the most out of the trip if you are comfortable swimming at least 1-2 km in open water. The sea was gorgeously clear; not quite as much sea life as i would hope for, but beautiful in its rock formations and surrounding landscapes, with Borut and his team making sure of our safety at all times. We were well catered for (skippering skills and food alike) by our friendly Turkish Gulet hosts for our trips out to the swimming sites every day; and came back to a clean hotel ready to seek out the next restaurant for our tasty evening meal.

This was a dream swim holiday come true. The swim locations, hosts & swim guides were fantastic and kept everything calm & relaxed throughout. The town of Kas is a perfect starting point for the daily swim trips we did and I loved how every swim was so different yet just as beautiful as the one before. Our hosts on the boat cooked up a storm for us and the time in between swims and lunch to relax was priceless. This trip is a must for anybody who enjoys swimming good distances at your leisure under the excellent supervision of swim guides who keep an eye on you at all times. Can't wait to go back for more! Thank you Borut & Ilgin for making our trip a truly memorable one.

We have spent one swimming week with Burst Strel and his crew in the area of Kas, Turkey, and what a week it has been.
We were the whole week on a very spacious Turkish Gülen, never had so much comfort on a boat, super helpful crew.
But it is nothing compared on how the swimming was organised. An early swim at 8:00, for a distance that you set yourself. The fastest and bravest will swim longer, Burat arranges that we finished at the same time.
After a great breakfast, a good break, and after lunch , a second swim, again 40 minutes to 1 hour.
If you want to take a break, no issue, but if you want a challenging distance, you can go for it.
It attracts all kind of people, but we had very quickly a good group, thanks to the time spent together.

This was our first open water swimming vacation, and i would recommend anyone enjoying swimming to book vacations with Strel.
