Car needed prior approval before cover could be issued but after that all went smoothly. With a product like gap insurance you don’t know how good it is until you claim but all perfect up to now.

I am shocked to read your review and unfounded allegations.
Firstly, let me start by clarifying that Platinum Gap is in no way a “scam”. Across our insurance group we have written well in excess of 100,000 policies for UK customers across over 10 years of trading.
To respect your personal information, I will refrain from going in to many details however with regards to your policies I can see that one of our senior agents contacted you due to duplicate policies containing discrepancies which ultimately led to your policies being cancelled and a full refund being issued within 24 hours.
GAP insurance was very easy to set up
GAP insurance was very easy to set up, whilst being competitive and clear cover. Rating may well change depending on any claims experience, which is the true measure of any insurance of course!

Transfer of Cover for newly purchased car
Had to transfer insurance due to purchase of new car. One phone call and so easy to refund part not used and discount on new policy. Really easy to do and staff very helpful.

First time I bought the gap insurance. After reading many positive reviews in detail about Platinum Gap Insurance I decided to go with. Hope I won't need to use this but this is giving me a peace of mind towards my big investment on my new car.
