A five star experience
Fabulous experience changing our car this past month. Danielle @ Blackpool Suzuki made the process very easy and enjoyable. Whilst away on holiday she kept in contact even sending a video of the car to show it was waiting for us on our return.
Would definitely recommend. Thank you Danielle.
Untrustworthy
Bought a Suzuki swift and was fine, didn't realise beeps at everything which can be irritating and dangerous when alarm sounds and not even near another vehicle. Has not started once, managed to get started put in Suzuki approved garage, Hyundai, and they did not care, hooked up to computer and said nothing seen, the screen as blacked out several times which can be frightening. Beware that all garages are franchises and Medway Suzuki is no longer trading as Suzuki franchise, found this out through another franchise. Was sold a service plan by Medway and now told not redeemable any where else, contacted Suzuki so called customer service and they do not care, told because of data protection can not contact customers when a franchise ceases with them, they have never heard of the company was sold a service plan with and I have to go through Medway Suzuki who are not answering, I found software company for service plan and they were very helpful and cancelled my policy and have requested Medway to refund me but potentially I have lost nearly £200 if Medway Suzuki/Hyundai do not do this and Suzuki says not their problem. Do not buy as you have no protection or come back.
The car has everything yet it has nothing
Too many useless sensors, the car has everything yet has nothing. Suzuki swift is tailored for women, as no real driver needs automatic transmision+auto-switching headlights to be a decent driver. One single USB-A port, no CD drive, yet they had money for a crappy carplay screen and seat heating. I would rather get a car from 1990 than drive this junkyard of functionalities on wheels
Suzuki approved rubbish warranty
I recently purchased a Suzuki under their approved used warranty, which is not worth the paper itâs not written on. You have to pay up front £144 inspection fee to be told that they donât consider any things wrong even though the cars dangerous to drive as it brakes when being overtaken on the motorway and only picks out bollards in the middle of the road to tell you that youâre going to crash
Shocking after care and product
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a Suzuki to think again. I purchased a brand new Suzuki with the expectation of reliability and peace of mind. What Iâve received instead has been an absolute nightmare.
The car has broken down twice already, once requiring the AA to come out, and has spent over six weeks in and out of the garage. That alone would be unacceptable for a new vehicle. But it got worse. The car completely died on the motorway while I was driving at 70mph. Thatâs not just inconvenient it's extremely dangerous and could have ended in a serious accident.
Now, for the third time, the car is being taken back to the garage to. And despite everything, Suzuki refuses to even wave the extremely expensive daily insurance fee that I have not choice but to pay while they attempt again to fix a vehicle that should never have had these issues in the first place.
The service from Suzuki has been nothing short of shocking. There is no urgency, no accountability, and no customer care. Itâs clear that once theyâve sold you the car, theyâre done with you.
I never expected to have to fight this hard for basic support on a brand new vehicle. I feel completely let down, not just by the quality of the car, but by a company that clearly doesnât stand by its products or its customers. This will be the first and last Suzuki I purchase. The car is unreliable, the service is disgraceful, and the risk simply isnât worth it.

Purchased a new Spresso in the philippines after purchase was told it needed serviceing every 5000km or 3 months whatever comes sooner i have never heard of anything so silly why on earth does a new car need servicing every 5000km thats what about 3000 miles just a scam cos if you dont do it you will lose your warentee shame obn them for fleecing customers and not telling of this before purchase partly my fault for not asking but even so ! Would advise you to tread very carefully with this company cos if they need a service every 5000k or 3 months cand be a very good product
Mostly very positive
Mostly very positive, the majority of dealers sales and service are very good, there are of course salespersons who load every deal up with everything for commission purposes but the one I deal with knows where we stand.

GRAZIE

I am extremely disappointed withâŠ
I am extremely disappointed with Suzuki's service. They initially assured me that there would be no charge for picking up my car, but the bill unexpectedly included these charges. When I called to dispute this they said they told me about charge, but they did not. One hour later Suzuki called me about additional price: they claimed that taping my bumper was necessary for the MOT review (in case somebody walks around my car and injures themselves), despite the fact that the minor repairs on my bumper was deemed safe to drive by the police and my insurance professional who came to look at my car prior MOT. Suzuki added an outrageous £81 for this taping, bringing the total cost to nearly £400. This is a complete rip-off for an MOT and car pick-up. I feel cheated and will not be using their services again.
Poco giapponesi

Purchased a brand new Suzuki Swift in October 2024. I have had to contact & take it back to the dealership multiple times due to an on-going fault. One that neither the dealer or Suzuki technical team seem to know how to fix. Contacted Suzuki customer services as this is obviously a manufacturing issue but they werenât interested as the dealership is a franchise. Really poor representation of the brand. Currently requesting to return the vehicle but they are making it very difficult.
Look elsewhere if you want a fully working vehicle and good customer service.

Issues with grip at front of factory fitted tyres.
Dealer told at POS fitted as standard with All Season tyres.
Once car bought questioned later on when no grip in slush told by dealer not fitted as standard with All Season tyres.
Checked tyres, summer tyres fitted.
Fitted at own expense winter tyres to front, grip improved but still obvious and dangerous issues of grip, maybe design flaw weight distribution issue definitely something preventing acceptable grip at front.
Wrote to Suzuki head office, got a long GS email from a Sarah telling me all the brochure terminology of the 4x4 system and that all Suzuki SUV, 4x4 were fitted with "all season" tyres as standard. Good start?
I asked if so please arrange for my vehicle to be fitted with "all season" tyres as it wasn't from new. Sarah then said the "technical department" would have to review my evidence of photos of summer tyres on my car and review my circumstances and needs?
Really?
Time passed nothing, so I asked for a answer, and mentioned Mr Suzuki head of Suzuki UK might want to be in the loop?
Got another email from another women saying Mr Suzuki was unavailable and the previous lady had given outdated information. Suzuki checked with factory and summer tyres were fitted as standard not "all season" tyres. They didn't say when the "outdated information" had changed not took into account the failure of the vehicle to grip in an acceptable manner in winter conditions with factory fitted tyres on a 4x4. Another load of GS.
Conclusion: DO NOT BUY A SUZUKI S CROSS IF YOU THINK IT WILL PERFORM IN WET OR WINTER CONDITIONS UTILISING ITS FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM WITH STANDARD TYRES, IT WILL NOT. IT IS UNFIT FOR PURPOSE AND SUZUKI IGNORE THIS PROBLEM.
Important note:
I purchased this car through Motobility as I am disabled and need doctor /hospital access at any time of the year, so I chose a 4x4 Suzuki vehicle expecting a thoroughbred 4x4 system well designed and engineered. It may be but completely useless without suitable tyres and the standard tyres fitted are useless as far as grip goes. Now I have a Vehicle I cannot trust in winter conditions 100%. Suzuki were informed of my disability needs and totally ignored them.
I thought showing respect was an important part of Japanese culture, clearly not.
Nightmare at Pebley beach Cirencester, don't trust these guys
I took my Swift to change the gear linkage and put some brackets, they charged me, they never even attempted to change the brackets of the bumpers. They said they couldn't do it however I went back home and put them in without any problem, they just needed to care but they didn't. The gear linkage started to give problems after a couple of weeks, the 5th gear was popping out by itself, I came back, they checked my car and said everything was fine, they left me without two gears. I did 4 hours in 4th gear trying to go back home as it was already late and they didn't answer the phone. a month after, I still don't receive any apology, any acknowledgement of the situation, and my car still doesn't work. They left me without car, impacting my job, but they don't give a single f about that. Don't go with these guys. This Chris guy completely ignored my emails and phone calls, so sad, one more place where you cannot trust the mechanic, imagine the fact that they sent me on the motorway with a car without two gears putting my life in danger and yet, no care or apology.
I tried to contact Suzuki UK, same, no acknowledgement, no care
