Think this is a con. Impossible to contact / get anyone to respond. Just get bounced around. I will try yet again to find a response to my concerns.
My advice is don’t touch.

Shocking Experience AVOID !!

Absolute Nightmare Experience! Made a drastic mistake signing up to this platform! During setting up & finalising requested personal details process then, prompted to the so called dashboard, connection dropped out! Checked connectivity network my system, fully connected operational. At this point in time made numerous attempts to make contact myriad of emails to the “team” without response! Resorted to phone contact after searching for contact number which seemed to take forever! When contact finally made, met with recorded message redirecting me to platform sign in help section. It was @ this point I was losing it literally, login details not recognised! Reached the conclusion, all methods & forms of contact totally inadequate comprising of automated bot’ autoforwarding systems that do not function! To date, 24 hours passed, no response to emails requesting immediate closure of my account deletion of personal information. The whole experience has been totally frustrating, painful, if only with hindsight, should have done research on this dreadful company but, Nationwide B/S (news letter) depicted support, recommendation for this company. Well, to conclude, I am afraid this platform/company, incorporating automated bot’ responses falls way short in delivering seamless, hassle free experiences to customers. A total nightmare shocking experience. AVOID!!

Just completed an automated switch to…

Just completed an automated switch to EoN. Painless and simple. Happily, this account has just been recommended by Martin Lewis. This is exactly why I use Switchd in the first place.
My only adverse comment is the painful process of having to go through Switchd to access my account. I end up with mulytiple passwords. The Switchd password also seems to fail. The subsequent customer services are pretty futile/robotic!

not recommended in their current form

I used their website further to an enquiry to #Switchpal as a basis for seeking out potential energy savings in the marketplace.
After inputting all data requested Switchd advised my bills could be halved by me switching to Flow Energy.
I then Googled this proposed supplier and found out that they actually went out of business in 2019 and their customers were absorbed by Octopus Energy.
So why are Switchd advertising non-existent savings if you decide to join them?

I can only surmise it is because of the catch at the bottom of their web page confirming that they won't guarantee getting the savings advised by Switchd, but will get you the best deal they can in the current market.
In this ongoing period of market volatility this is likely to be next to nothing - but they will no doubt charge you a fee for their 'Service'!
This is surely blatant click bait mis-direction and misleading information being offered.

I did try on-line chat for clarity before writing this review and got nothing but auto-bot responses.
I also tried calling them but my call was not answered.
I'm putting the whole experience down to being a lucky escape!
Remember - all that glitters is not gold...

Follow up notes - In noting your reply below I believe the honest thing for you to do is to update your comparison data for users as clearly you would likely only be able to offer a small fraction of the savings your website purports to be able to achieve.

If you can advise when realistic data is being advised, to potential customers , I will be happy to verify this and amend my review accordingly.

nothing went right

what went wrong? nothing went right. I signed up and waited and waited and finally an automated communication to say that one unresolved proble was holding everything up. No ability to communicate with switchd says that nothing is happening. The only automated reply email from them was to look at automated answers or leave switchd - and thats what I am doing as I cannot get past go. I am tempted to ask is there anyone working there by the lack of being able to contact anyone. Complete waste of time.

Terrible website will not let me enter…

Terrible website will not let me enter my year of birth u have to scroll back through the years month by month year by year in my case 72 years I lost the will to live and gave up 😭

Swichd communication options for potential customers

I had hoped to use SWITCHD’S premium service which includes telephone communication once subscribed. I am unable to subscribe as my supplier shows on their drop down menu but my current supply name doesn’t so I cannot move to registration with Switchd to get telephone support. I am rather disappointed that there is no telephone contact for potential paying customers as well as current paying customers. Not a good start I fear! I hope to hear from Switchd

Do not trust these sites which are so automated. Please

Well as many say, I would have given 0 stars if poss. I find it difficult to say how bad this experience was; you can communicate with robots only, if you try to phone up you are put on hold listening to annoying music for ages and then told there are no agents availa ble; I mean, I did eventually get an email reply from an actual human being after leaving dozens of emails and voicemails; but I would never trust a company doing that. I am an older person (71) and have learnt through life you need to get to know the subtle energies of the people you are dealing with. How can you trust these sites with all these robots? They will rule what you do with your transactions. Can you see that??

Support from Switched

I have been a member of Switchd since its early days. Before the energy crisis I was regularly moved by them to a better energy deal and saved lots of money. They are lovely people to deal with and extremely helpful. Currently they are helping me to get a new gas meter as mine is sited wrongly. We are also looking into a false claim going back several years. The team is kind and knowledgeable and I would truly recommend them. Would give 5* but we aren’t sorted on the two issues above yet, but I know we will be soon!! You won’t be sorry you joined them.

Truly Awful

I made the mistake of registering with this service as it was offered as a perk from my bank account. (Which is beyond ironic)

I fail to see what it is they offer that can't be achieved by a myriad of much more intuitive and free alternative websites.

Anywhoo - after seeing that this provided almost nothing, I tried to deactivate my account during the trial period.

In what seems to be a very dishonest and extremely archaic system - you can only cancel by calling them.

This is where their 'service' or lack of becomes much more sinister.

I made several attempts a few times a week of trying to call them only to discover no one ever answers the phone. No matter what option you try, it just rings non stop for five minutes and then plays a message saying no one is available before cutting you off.

This is truly the very worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

They offer no other way to cancel - and they never ever pick up the phone.

Be extremely weary of them.
