Stefan and Peter turned my tired 160 year old victorian pine floors into things of beauty. Not only did they sand, stain and varnish the original floor they filled in the gaps as well. Stefan was very knowledgeable and was able to explain all of the various stages very clearly and there was very little dust which was a bonus. I would certainly recommend S Wood Floor to friends and family.

Stefan did an extremely good job with our flooring and stuck under the proposed budget he mentioned. He also did it in a short amount of time, and really everyone went as expected. He also was super knowledgeable and helpful beyond the flooring as we were painting and doing other work in other rooms at the time. He even ran down to his car to grab tools for us when needed. Genuinely nice guy too, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Stefan and his colleague sanded, stained and varnished the floors in our downstairs reception rooms and hallway in 2 days. I’m so happy with the end result! The floor looks beautiful and clean and is a joy to walk on. Not only were the guys quick but they were careful with an eye for attention and detail. There was less dust than expected during the job as they had good quality extraction. They obviously had decades of experience but more importantly we felt that they were hardworking and honest and we would definitely use them again.

Stefan is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He definitely educated me and walked me through every step of the process so i could understand what was being done and why. He is also a very decent human being with whom I had good rapport. He showed up in advance of the job to assess the work to be done, and delivered according to his word. I left him on his own to finish up work and he returned the next day with the keys. There is a before and after picture below, where you can see the transformation from a dull, unloved floor to one that has clearly been cared for. Thank you Stefan for all you do to make a positive difference to people's lives.

Stefen was recommended by some friends who just had their floor done. We just bought a flat in a old victoria house with original wooden boards and they really needed to be freshened up as they were very damaged and scratched. Stefen came to see the flat and provided a clear and competitive quote. Since we were not sure about the colors, he provided different samples and explained every options and details, so that we could choose the correct one and ensure the finish was what we wanted. He sanded and waxed the floors of our kitchen, entrance and living room, and we couldn't be happier with how the floor looks now! We also really appreciated that he was very punctual (even early!) and worked efficiently and finished the job as scheduled. We have just contacted Stefen as we will need to sand the floor in our bedroom: we recently removed the carpet and we decided to keep the original wooden boards exposed. We are sure that Stefen will deliver an excellent job as usual. We highly recommend him!
