World Cup streaming offer scam and absolute negligence of customer service and complaint department. I bought the annual pro subscription while World Cup TOD package that was supposed to come with it was advertised directly in the app. Received no code. After complaining I was promised it’d be solved within 1 hour. It wasn’t so I raised the complaint again - I got a call that they’ll get back to me the next day. No one called then and the support chat was marked as resolved with an answer that campaign is no longer active, although I attached a screenshot with the in-app ad. Raised 2 more complaints and got same template answer. When demanding a complaint manager to call me, a junior agent called telling me the same thing. He then promised a manager will call within 30 mins and no one called after that despite my request to either grant the promised code, or at least compensate with credit or a refund and despite expressing I will report the false advertising and scam to DED customer protection (which I certainly will). The absolute ignorance of the customer service and complaint department are even more shocking than the mistake with the code and false advertising. After some positive experiences with solving mistakes with deliveries I was expecting they’d owned this one. Total disappointment. Can’t believe they’d prefer to lose a customer who’s spend way more than the value of the code.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience with Talabat.
I placed a food order, but the driver, Malik, went to the wrong location. I immediately sent him my correct location, but he refused to deliver my order. Instead, he told me to contact Talabat to confirm my address before he would come. He became angry during our conversation and was unprofessional.
What is even more concerning is that he marked my order as delivered even though I never received it. Claiming that I received the order is simply not true.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. I expect better service and honesty from Talabat's delivery partners. I hope Talabat investigates this incident and takes appropriate action to prevent similar situations from happening to other customers.
After this experience, I am seriously reconsidering ordering from Talabat again.

Our Talabat rider asked us for drinking water when delivering our order.
Of course we gave him water, but the fact that frontline delivery workers have to ask customers for something as basic as drinking water is deeply concerning.
No rider working for hours in the UAE heat should have to wonder whether a customer will say yes, no, or judge them for asking. Access to clean drinking water should be a guaranteed part of the delivery system, not something left to chance.
Talabat should ensure that every rider has easy, free access to drinking water at pickup locations, partner restaurants, hubs, or other designated points throughout the day. Small operational changes like this would significantly improve the wellbeing and dignity of the people who keep the service running.
This isn't a complaint about the rider. It's a complaint about a system that leaves workers in a position where they have to ask customers for a basic human necessity.

They are losing customers like crazy and seems they are using this tactic of charging with permission or canceling the order and giving credit instead. I officially deleted my account with them and happily using Keeta and other apps.

I recently ordered from lulu to my place which took an hour to deliver I was so patient, until it showed at the last minute canceled, and showing a different location, the excuse they gave me was the network was bad and didn’t know where to deliver and my mobile number couldn’t go through, I told the call center agent everything was updated she made me look like a lier I sent proof still she made feel like it’s my first time ordering from talabat she or he told me to place an order again Shane wait for an hour names(Zargham.k), all this call center agent did was made me believe am in wrong. And n effortlessly kept on blaming on not knowing how to use the app.
My question was was simple why did it show my location and delivered in a different location and no one contacted me

I contacted customer support expecting help, but instead I felt blamed for the situation and was not offered a refund. This experience was unfair and very frustrating. I hope Talabat improves its delivery process and customer service.

World Cup subscription is scam, AFTER I PAID SUBSCRIPTION In TALABAT,after 2 days I spoke with TOD they said there is no subscription under my number or mails ID. And there is no response from Talbat, the number of fools are sitting called Agent wasting time

I already had an active TOD subscription purchased the day before. While checking the TOD offer in Talabat, I was charged AED 300 without a clear confirmation step. I contacted support immediately and explained it was accidental. They confirmed the new voucher would not extend, stack, or combine with my existing subscription, yet still refused a refund due to policy/system limitations. Poor customer protection and unfair handling.

We are extremely disappointed with the level of service being provided. Order cancellations have become a recurring issue, even after we have already prepared the items, handed them over to the rider, and dispatched the order for delivery. In some cases, customers are allowed to cancel an order more than an hour after it has left our store, causing unnecessary losses and operational disruption.
As a vendor, we also have no direct way to contact customers when there is an issue with the order, as no customer information is made available to us. This lack of communication creates significant challenges in resolving problems efficiently and ensuring customer satisfaction.
We strongly urge you to review your cancellation policy and provide vendors with a more effective communication channel. The current process is unfair to vendors who invest time, labor, and resources into fulfilling orders that are later canceled without accountability. We expect a prompt resolution and meaningful improvements to prevent these issues from continuing.

They took 1,296 EGP from my account and switched my subscription from Pro monthly to yearly. I spoke with total 10 agents yesterday about this mess and they told me not to worry and the Pro team will refund it once they respond to the raised ticket. After more than 24 HRS, they said it was non-refundable! When I called to ask for clarification for my subscription , they said they’d let a manager contact me within few minutes, after an hour, no one called! I have contacted 20 agents in the last 24 hrs with no resolution. Now a 1,296 was deducted from my account + no one knows what my subscription is!

The most unprofessional company in the UAE. They messed up with my order and sent a wrong order, immediately upon delivery i informed the driver that the order was wrong and it wasn’t including my items! The driver decided to leave the bags at my door which i didn’t realize until few hours later and found out that the order that has meat, milk (around 10 bottles) chocolate, fruits and many other food items has been left in the heat of Dubai by a careless and unprofessional delivery driver! The hurting part is that Talabat asked me to throw the order in the garbage while ignoring it was around 10 kgs of food going into the garbage bin hile people are dying from hunger all around the world and on the too they refused to send someone to collect it and was very rude over the phone! That’s a shame!

Simply horrible. After 3 years of having the Talabt Pro subscription, the number of inconvenient situations I have been put in with this app is literally nerve-wracking. The app offer the most basic human need (Food) and have a very wide room for failure when its a very simple job. If you are looking for comfort, trust me you will not find it with them, and their support doesn't care, they only care when you ask to cancel the subscription WHICH THEY NEVER DO and always mislead me to do it on my end in their complicated looped UI so obvious they only care about the money and slacked off to miserable failure.
Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!!!
