Thanks for sharing your feedback, the Gravity Teapot is made of Tritanâ¢, which is ECO Friendly, biodegradable, BPA-free, tough, light, clear, impact-resistant, and durable. Glass would be very delicate considering the design of the Gravity teapot and would not be durable. We highly value you as our customer and will use your feedback to better improve our product. Please feel free to reach out to us should you need further assistance with your order, we are always happy to help you.
My husband loves his herbal teas
My husband lives his herbal teas, we grow and dry our own. He loves the gravity teapot abs rhe cup. He says that it does not interfere with the taste as some china/pottery teapots do.

My new favourite way to drink tea
Purchased the Tavalon tea pot and tea cup set. The tea cup is thick glass and a good size. The teapot was bigger than I thought, and I can get almost two and a half cups of tea out of it which is just right for me. The tea pot handles boiling water really well. Watch the video on the site for cleaning the pot, it is very helpful. Overall, I'm impressed, and I love my new Tavalon tea pot and tea cup.
