As my first matcha experience, 'Azuma Tea Garden's Samidori no Ka' from Tencha has truly set the bar high. This matcha offers a rich umami flavour and a brilliant green colour that make each sip memorable. The beautiful packaging and prompt delivery added to the experience. For anyone curious about matcha or already a fan, Samidori no Ka is a perfect introduction to the world of high-quality tea.

Ever since I found Tencha, it has become my favourite place for Japanese tea and tea utensils in the U.K. Every tea I've tried so far has been a pleasure. Their orders are always beautifully packed and arrive promptly.

Easy to order, took a while for the delivery to arrive. Easy to follow instructions for a first timer like myself in making proper tea. After starting to drink green tea (instead of my 2nd daily coffe) I feel more relaxed, less anxious/stressed and my TPM sympthoms were much less exacerbated. Will place a new order soon, thank you!

Loved the attention and care with which this was packaged, including my name on the card. The tea is delicious and this is also the only place I've been able to find Genmaicha powder. My only suggestion would be to include storage instructions on the packaging (fridge? cupboard?). Otherwise delighted with this lovely company.

This is the second time that I bought from the Tencha website and I have been more than happy with the quality of the service and of the products. I received the ordered products quickly, they were beautifully packed and of high quality. The delivery was on time, the packaging was very elegant and I really appreciated the cards with instructions and a thank-you note: a very nice personal touch. The tea is something different from any green tea I've ever had: a good experience so far. I wish the sample sachets were available so could try them all.
