I had to give one star as I couldn't leave none. My order was meant to be delivered on 19th December. I stayed in all day and absolutely no delivery. Contacted them by phone.. Left messages, used their so called live chat (it isn't) and left messages. Emailed them on numerous occasions and no response to any. I obviously have ve assumed that the items won't be delivered for Christmas. I also haven't received a refund and given that absolutely no one responds if I hadn't paid by PayPal I doubt I would get one. Just don't use this company. I have used other companies who sell very similar products and wish I had stuck with them.

The queen scallops arrived completely defrosted and barely chilled. The scallops arrived a day after the supposed delivery date, packet in a cardboard box that was falling apart due to the water from the defrosted scallops. There has been no response to my email or messages on the chat line. The phone number advertised on the site does not work.

Do not buy from these people! Absolutely the worst quality meat I've bought online - bordering on a scam! Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews because they do not publish the bad reviews - my review was deleted.

My fillet arrived on time. It was the longest fillet I’ve ever seen; however it hadn’t been trimmed and there was a significant proportion of fat and gristle on it. I removed 9 ozs of fat and gristle.
Further the meat was not at all tender - chewy fillet? There’s a first. Won’t use this company again .

They never manage to deliver what you actually ordered. Always something missing or wrong. Useless company with poor customer service. No apology no correction. Better prices available elsewhere

There was a problem with my order made 7 weeks ago, and despite sending 3 emails to resolve the issue I have received no response back from the company.

If I could give zero stars I would. My expensive meat order never arrived and they are impossible to contact. Multiple emails, calls, and their own response form have had no response. Don't order from them, you will lose your money.

Ordered meats in December 2021 for new years. Use by date may 2022 and they were mouldy and furry at new years. I've emailed and messaged several times with no reply

The experience of this purchase is horrible.
Order was made next day delivery however so far I have waited for 7 days and tried to call multiple time and emailed multiple times with no reply.
I will have to lodge a claim through small claim court.

Two consecutive orders come broken, every single item. They didn’t answer my calls or emails… a complete waste of money.

Unfortunately, like many reviewers here I have to leave a negative review despite the meat and quality from The Gourmet Market being very good.

The customer service is appalling, with no communication or effort made to rectify mistakes. They delivered part of my order, and did not tell me the rest was not in stock. I had to chase them up to discover this and was told it would be delivered after a few days.

Since then it has been absolute silence despite me chasing them repeatedly. I do not understand how a business can be run with this level of apathy toward its customers. I had ordered from them before but this will be the last time I do so.

Received my food delivery yesterday lunch time, opened immediately and discovered the most expensive item is missing. Tried to contact them by phone, email and online contact form. Zero response in over 24hrs, my guests tomorrow will be missing a key ingredient from our Tapas evening as it’s too late to rectify now and I am currently missing a £20 item. Thank you Gourmet market for the fantastic customer service, but I think I will shop elsewhere next time, I do still expect a refund when you finally get around to contacting me.

I’ve given 1 star because we adore the food. However, when you have a problem you CANNOT reach them! What is the point of running a business in the hope that you gain more customers than you lose. I’ve had my own business for 30 years and never, ever would I allow my business to be run like Gourmet Food. Customer Service is paramount, especially with so much competition around. Customer “Service” is tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow……

A shocking company. I will never order from this company again. They don't deliver when they promise and I have tried over 50 times and in different forms to contact them, they never answer your call or come back to you

Received a supposedly 'Wagyu' steak it was tough and had thick gristle through the middle, better steaks from the supermarket. Complained direct by email with pictures and on their website (my review has not been added!). No answer whatsoever, do not go near this company.

This merchant is a scam. The products they deliver would look very different from what they presented on their websites. And when you ask them to arrange a return, their answers would either be fluffy like we've served so many Michelin restaurants (no evidence and completely untrue) or just kept avoiding answering you at all.
