Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're sorry to hear that you’ve been disappointed with the results of your recent sowing.

As we mentioned in our previous message, it’s likely that a few environmental and situational factors are affecting the germination and early growth of your grass seed. While the recent warm weather has given many lawns a great start to the season, consistent temperatures above 20°C, especially when paired with dry spells can actually slow down germination and root development. This could be why you’re not seeing the growth you’d normally expect, even when using your usual routine.

That said, one of the great things about grass seed is that although it can be fussy, it’s also incredibly hardy. It has a clever way of waiting until the conditions are just right before getting going, so often it simply needs a little more time.

We completely understand how frustrating it can be to wait for results. If you've not seen any improvement despite the rain and consistent watering, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at expert@thegrasspeople.com, as we’d love to help further.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear that you've been disappointed on this occasion especially after having a positive experience with us before.

To enable us to properly investigate and provide the best possible support, we do ask for a bit more detail including some photos. This helps us understand the full picture and give you tailored advice, as there can be a number of factors that affect how grass seed establishes.

If you're still having issues and would like our help, please feel free to email the following information to Expert@thegrasspeople.com:

Your order number
Which seed mix was sown
The date it was sown
How the area was prepared before sowing
What aftercare steps were taken (e.g. watering, mowing, fertiliser use)
Whether the area gets full sun or any shade during the day

It would also be really helpful if you could send over a few photos of the area as it looks now, this will give us a much clearer idea of what’s going on and how best to help.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about the delay with your delivery and the lack of updates you've experienced.

This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we completely understand your frustration. When we’re working with couriers, there can sometimes be unexpected delays, especially when a depot search is required, as these can take up to 24–48 hours to complete. While we do our best to keep customers informed throughout the process, I’m sorry that this wasn’t your experience on this occasion.

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and we’ll take this on board as we continue to review and improve the service we offer. We hope you’ll give us the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.
