The House Inspector Ltd レビュー

From the initial phone call enquiry Pete was helpful, friendly, explained things in detail & was happy to answer any questions. Throughout the whole process Pete kept me up to date with progress and next steps. The Snagging & Defect Report that he produced was comprehensive, clear & detailed, with excellent photos of all areas identified & suggested remedial actions. I highly recommend him.

We had a great experience with Pete doing our new build house inspection. He said the quality of the build was good, but still picked up many snags which are now being rectified by the developer. Thanks Pete!

Hi Pete,
Your professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail throughout the entire process were exceptional. You caught things we never would have noticed on our own, and your report gives us huge peace of mind moving forward. Beyond your technical expertise, we truly appreciated your friendly approach and willingness to walk us through your findings so clearly.

Pete turned up when he said he would and carried out a thorough inspection of my new house. Upon inspection, he discovered some mould in the kitchen spanning under the kitchen units that we were unaware of. As a family of asthma sufferers we flagged to the developer right away who began immediate action. All thanks to Pete’s meticulous work. Report received within a few hours of him leaving. Top work and a top man too. HIGHLY recommended.

Pete is incredible. As a result of his snagging report, our developer has agreed to rectify everything without question. What I appreciated the most is that Pete took the time out of his evening to talk me through the process and his suggestion to make sure we got the best value from his visit but so I could follow up with our Developer as needed. Pete goes above and beyond to help his customers, he is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a professional to review their home.

Highly recommend Pete for any snagging inspection. He was very thorough, professional, and efficient, with great communication throughout. The report was returned the same day, which was very detailed and highlighted issues we wouldn’t have spotted ourselves.

My partner and I recently used The House Inspector for a snagging inspection on our first home - a 2-bedroom new build.

Pete was friendly, professional, and extremely thorough throughout the whole process. He picked up multiple major snags that we never would have noticed ourselves, which could have cost us a lot in the long run. Thanks to his report, our developers are now putting everything right.

Definitely worth the money - thank you, Pete!

We contacted Pete in advance of our move to a new build house and from the outset we were impressed with his courteous and knowledgeable approach.

We asked Pete to carry out a post completion snagging report for us the day after we moved in as opposed to a pre-completion report. The post completion snagging allowed Pete the necessary time to fully review our property and it was extremely good value for money when considering Pete’s wealth of knowledge and how thorough he was. Pete checked the externals of our house before a thorough inspection inside.

Pete arrived on time at 8am and was with us for the whole day and following the visit we then received a detailed report with photos and guidance.
We would highly recommend Pete to anyone thinking of buying a new property because of his knowledge, courteous manner and value for money.

Pete was super helpful and responsive to all queries. The report was detailed and thorough and sent through in a very timely manner. I wholeheartedly recommend Pete.

I am extremely happy with the service provided by Pete during my snagging survey. His report was incredible — detailed, thorough, and carried out with exceptional attention to detail. Pete is very meticulous in his work and highly professional in his approach.
He identified several important snagging issues that I would never have noticed myself, and each point was clearly explained with detailed photographs. Throughout the inspection, he was very helpful, patient, and answered all my questions.
I highly recommend Pete to anyone needing a snagging inspection. Excellent service from start to finish.

I recently had Pete from The House Inspector carry out a full snagging inspection on my New Build property. From the start, Pete was friendly, approachable, and incredibly professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the issues he was identifying.

The inspection itself was extremely thorough and detailed, the report I received was comprehensive, well-structured, and easy to follow. It gave me real peace of mind and the confidence to go back to the developer with a clear list of items that needed attention.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The House Inspector to anyone looking for a reliable and professional snagger. Brilliant service from start to finish.

Pete provided a thorough and detailed snagging service. The report was very clear, easy to follow, and well laid out. Great service overall and very helpful throughout. Would highly recommend

Pete has been absolutely exceptional. He was thorough, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire snagging process. What really sets him apart is the care he shows after the job is done — he has kept in touch, checked in on how I’m getting on, and taken the time to offer continued support and advice.

It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their clients the way Pete does. He’s a wonderful guy and his service is worth every penny. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone buying a new-build home.

Great experience with this company. Pete was very professional, knowledgeable, and detail-orientated. I was able to carry on with work while he conducted the survey. Just what you need. Prices were very reasonable and the customer service was excellent. Everything was checked ..even door handles … each one! My report was comprehensive and the summary was very useful. I used this company for my second year snag survey and wished I had used them for the first one. Pete also helped me respond to pushbacks, which was above and beyond.

Pete was great, the whole thing from start to finish was so easy and straightforward. Not only did he do an amazing job with the snagging he also offered to help with the follow up if need be.
I will definantly be recommending him to people and using his services again.

Truly deserves his 5 star review. Pete is incredibly thorough and professional, has immense experience and is an absolute pleasure to deal with - taking time to explain issues if asked. Didn't miss a thing, front to back, outside to inside, bottom to top. I had previously raised various issues with my developer and been getting fobbed off. His report led to an immediate change in attitude and they started to address things. He spotted so many things I would never have identified (180 in total!). Wish I'd got his report from the outset rather than trying to create my own amateur snagging list. If you're looking at this review then you're thinking of getting a report - I'd definitely say get a professional report from Pete, if he spots even one or two things you wouldn't then it more than likely pays for the cost of the report. It also gives you peace of mind that the workmanship on your new home has been independently, professionally assessed.

I would 100% recommend Pete.

He’s extremely professional, and efficient and friendly. He is really thorough and took the time to talk through his findings, making sure I had all the information I needed.

He looked over our house in great detail and provided a really thorough and informative report very quickly afterwards. And the price was extremely reasonable too.

Thank you very much Pete!

We can’t recommend Pete enough and are really pleased with the service we received from him. Having never used professional snagging services before, we were unsure what to expect. Pete shared a detailed explanation of the process including timings for the day, ahead of the scheduled appointment so we knew what to expect on inspection day.
On the day Pete was really friendly and worked efficiently and with very little impact to our morning. As home workers, it was really noticed and appreciated how little impact the survey had which included Pete being willing to work on areas of the house in line with work commitments that we had.

Pete took the time to go through the findings/show us key findings whilst at our property and then shared the report with us on the same evening as the inspection. The report was easy to review and in a format that made sharing it with our developer seamless.

Highly recommend!

We’re so glad we came across The House Inspector and cannot thank Pete enough. As first time home owners, with no idea what we’re doing or looking for, we’re so impressed with how Pete has gone above and beyond to explain every detail of every snag and pick up on things we would never see.
I cannot recommend The House Inspector enough and I will certainly be singing his praises to anyone who needs a snagger!
Pete was so quick to reply, amazing value for money, arrived on time, the report couldn’t be any clearer and includes every detail needed and he even left us a gift.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you have done. We will forever be grateful and you have made us feel confident with our new home 🫶.

I recently hired Pete to inspect my new-build property, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service he provided. Pete was exceptionally thorough, highly knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. He examined every aspect of the property with great care and attention to detail, and the report he produced was both extremely comprehensive and delivered promptly.

Beyond his technical expertise, Pete was also very polite, respectful, and clearly takes great pride in doing the job properly. His professionalism and meticulous approach gave me complete confidence in his findings.

As a thoughtful gesture, Pete even left a bottle of wine for me, which was greatly appreciated. I will absolutely be recommending him to friends and family in the future—an excellent service from a true professional.
