Dr Fran was absolutely amazing. She was personable and knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. It was such a different experience to going into a GP surgery where I have felt rushed or ignored.

Dr Fran made me feel like she really cared about helping me and took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions.

I have always loved to watch the low downs videos and posts and find it to be really amazing information!! I booked an appointment with Dr.Kathryn and it went really well I felt super comfortable, and listened too! She was very kind and gave me lots of information, different options and things to do to help me! After she sent me through all the notes on email which was handy to not forget any little details she had mentioned! I would recommend 100% to anyone who was thinking about using the lowdown and their services! Thank you ❤️

Fabulous helpful service, takes the worry out of having to go to the doctor each time you need a new prescription, and quick delivery, highly recommend using thelowdown.

I previously left a review after receiving the wrong pills with stickers over them with the names of the pill I should’ve received. I complained to the company and they rectified this for me refunding me and by sending the correct pill via next day delivery. Initial mistake was very poor but great customer service in resolving my issue.

After a PCOS diagnosis I turned to the Lowdown for more information about the condition, particularly in relation to fertility. I had a 1:1 consultation with Dr Becky which was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgable, caring and supportive, talking me through treatment options for fertility, and other relevant symptoms. She also signposted me to other organisations working hard to understand more about PCOS. I felt totally empowered by the whole experience. During the consultation Dr Becky took notes which she then uploaded to my profile on the Lowdown. This was incredibly helpful and I have referred to the notes numerous times since. I’ve also been able to use the information when speaking with my GP about treatment options and referrals. I would highly recommend the Lowdown, if you’ve got a question - book a consultation!

The concept of the Lowdown is truly incredible. Not only does it provide people with comprehensive, honest, and extremely valuable advice, but it also sends us in the right direction so we can make the best decisions for our bodies and needs.
The execution is just as good - super easy to navigate, classy interface with an excellent user experience, as well as clear options.
I have PMDD and I chose to have an online appointment with one of the Lowdown’s very experienced and knowledgeable doctors. I chose Dr Mel Hall for her experience in menstrual issues and PMS/PMDD. She talked me through my options in such a non-judgemental yet encouraging way, and I left the appointment feeling super empowered.
I have now been prescribed with Yaz (Eloine in the UK), which is one of the first-line treatments for PMDD. I’ll be starting continuous contraceptive therapy soon, and hopefully banishing PMDD for good - along with my periods!

Had a virtual video appointment with Dr Fran, she was incredible. I felt really listened to and affirmed, was great to have my pain taken seriously. Dr Fran gave me lots of options to pursue and really clear notes from our appointment.

Like most I can’t get in front of my nurse or GP so have resulted in buying my contraception online. Since discovering The Low down I feel like I’ve discovered a female forward platform where lots of advice and other forms of contraception is available. It feels like a womens clinic, just online. I had an issue once where I only received 3 months instead of 6 months and they rectified and posted out the remaining packs the next day. Couldn’t fault them.

Really helpful! Easy to use and friendly customer service when I requested an update on delivery (due to Royal Mail strikes not any fault their end)

Approachable, friendly and professional doctor who took the time to really listen and suggest multiple solutions to my query about contraception. Dr Fran really appears to be passionate about helping others and was the first to take my concerns about depression and the pill in an understanding, non judgemental way. This concern has been dismissed or even openly disputed in the past by other doctors. By the end of the session, I had a handful of options and felt empowered to act, while most of the time when I speak to my GP I feel more confused and unsire what to do. After the appointment, I also received a copy of the notes Dr Fran took during the consultation and links to useful materials. I'm privileged to be able to pay £37 for this kind of service, which is affordable to me but not necessarily at everyone's reach. I would thoroughly recommend investing this money in this service if you want professional, impartial and kind advice!

Finally, non related to the actual appointment - the user experience on the website was also great. Intuitive and easy to use, with the possibility to choose an appointment even on the same day.
