Excellent service supporting the sale of a much loved family assett. Concierge service was invaluable in attracting good interest and realising a good sale. Highly recommended.

The amount of effort and degree of First Rate publicity for the EMPRESS was quite staggering. It left me almost speechless in the quality of the presentation for sale.
I was also stunned at the final bidding price. only a few pounds short of what I payed for the car over 30 years ago

The Bonhams team were efficient and courteous with the marketing and selling of my car.

Mark had a very aggressive attitude towards me for no reason.

I was bidding on a BMW M5 in auction. There was no evidence for servicing and they commented to speak to the garage owner which I did. After speaking to the garage owner, the comments made in the auction did not correlate.

After expressing these in the comments, Mark removed my comment straight away. I may have called the garage owner a “tool” as he would not give a straight answer but ramble on about anything but the car. I then amended my comment without any “offensive” language or remarks, which addressed my concerns of misinformation.

My comment was still removed and Mark emailed saying to not comment again. I assume because he is hiding this information from any prospective buyers.

This is disappointing to see and I called him to get a clear understanding and answer. He was very aggressive and after confronting him on hiding information and misleading information given about the car, he did not say anything but to not bid or comment.

Very disappointed and this should be raised further. Definitely something to watch out for if you are looking to buy or sell with this company now

Tried to bid on the lovely AC Cobra replica last night.
I spent time renewing my payment card etc' I had to go through the process three times before the site accepted my change of details. When I went back to bid on the car the site said there appeared to be a problem with website and they couldn't except bids at the moment due to a problem with the website. After several attempts I finally got onto the site to bid, only to be told that i hadn't updated my card details. This is after sending me an email three times that my card details HAD been updated. The last time I dealt with Bonhams They set me up for telephone bidding, then forgot to phone me when my lot was on sale. What a bunch of Cowboys !!!

Honest advice on value backed up with much evidence. All staff from CEO, valuers, salesmen, photographer, writer, and car washer conduct themselves in a professional and considerate manner, respecting you as a client at all times. The whole experience was made very simple and painless. Thank you!

Bonhams provide a high quality service and were instrumental in finding the right buyers for my rare vintage Merc. Would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

From my initial contact with Bonhams the professionalism shown was without fault. Bonhams Car Auctioneers; an excellent Auction house for selling your treasured Classic Car, they will go out of their way to get you top market value when selling your car!

You can be the winning bidder when the auction time ends and still not win it.
Having read the T&C I understood that the auction would run on for 2 minutes after the auction time to "prevent snipes", however, in reality the auction increases by two minute segments every time someone bids and this has only one benefit and that is the auctioneers.
Needless to say I wont be using the auction again.
Having said that, I think the presentation of the vehicles is excellent. Good write ups, high quality images and superior stock.

I have just sold my VW Golf Mk1 Gti through Bonham's online car auction using the Concierge service. I initially dealt with Freddie who has been absolutely fantastic with every detail of the sale, the photographs and write up done as part of the Concierge service I think definitely help sell the car and achieve a price I was very happy with. All the staff that I have spoken to at Bonham's have been first rate and I would not hesitate to use them again.
