Quality of bed frame great, delivery poor!
Quality of the bed frame is superb, easy to assemble & looks better than we expected. Delivery however was poor. They dropped off 4 parcels would not give us time to check them, and just left. We had no headboard but a pergola instead!!!
It took us 2/3 days to get this exchanged sorted & was still not delivered to us until 5 days later. Poor company Ferduco used for delivery, drivers did not understand English & no apologies offered.

Hi Julie,
I’m so, so sorry again for everything you experienced with the delivery. I know we spoke at the time, and I really appreciate how patient and understanding you were throughout what was, unfortunately, a very frustrating situation.
We’ve raised all of your feedback with Furdeco so they can look into what happened with the delivery and the issues you experienced with the drivers. This certainly isn’t the level of service we expect for our customers, and I’m genuinely sorry that this was your experience.
I’m really pleased to hear that you love the bed itself, found it easy to assemble and that it looks even better than you expected.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Nice looking bed, quality oak.
Good communication and all went well with the delivery. The packaging was very good. The bed is good quality oak - slightly less sturdy looking than our previous bed. It was fairly time consuming to put it together but not difficult. It looks great in the bedroom and we hope it will be strong enough to last for many years. We didn't notice a weight limit on the product - maybe we missed it!

Hi Alison,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. I’m really pleased to hear that communication was good, delivery went smoothly and that you were impressed with the quality of the packaging and the oak itself.
I’m glad you found the assembly straightforward, even if it was a little time-consuming, and it’s lovely to hear that the bed looks great in your bedroom. We hope it gives you many years of use.
In terms of the weight limit, our bed frames don’t have a published maximum weight guide. Our products are tested for normal use, including their design, weight capacity and function. However, as the weight on a bed is not generally motionless, it isn’t possible to give an exact maximum weight limit.
All of our bed frames are manufactured for adults, and we have never experienced issues with the weight of a person or mattress causing one of our frames to fail. We also provide a 5-year guarantee from the date of delivery, covering the repair or replacement of any part deemed defective due to faulty materials or workmanship.
Thank you again for choosing The Oak Bed Store and for your valuable feedback.
Kind regards,
Georgie

Great customer service
We had a problem with the centre rail on our bed which had broken. When i phoned the staff were very helpful and pulled out all the stops to source the new parts within a few hours which we were able to collect. Bed back to normal within 12 hours and all for free even though the bed is used every day and is 7 years old. Great customer service - thanks Georgie🙂

Good solid bed with a couple of minor issues
I ordered the Wimbledon king size storage bed and am happy with it now it's assembled. It shipped promptly and when I needed to email the company they responded quickly and were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately I did have a few minor issues with the delivery company, firstly as on the agreed delivery date after waiting in all day the tracking updated to say they hadn't loaded my bed onto the van. After rearranging delivery and unboxing the bed I noticed some damage to one of the drawers due to how beaten up the box it was shipped in had been in transit. I opted to repair this myself by using a new woodscrew to replace a snapped one.
Another minor issue is that the drawers were quite difficult to assemble, unlike the bed itself. I had to use quite a lot of force with a screwdriver as the pre-drilled holes didn't seem to quite line up with each other.
In all I'm very pleased with the bed but the experience was let down slightly by a few issues, mostly down to the third party delivery company.

Hi Stanners,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and balanced review. We’re really pleased to hear that you’re happy with the Wimbledon bed now it’s assembled, and that our team were quick and helpful whenever you needed us.
I’m sorry, though, that the delivery didn’t go as smoothly as it should have, particularly after you had already waited in all day. It’s also disappointing to hear that one of the drawers arrived damaged and that you found the drawer assembly more difficult than expected. We appreciate you highlighting these points, as feedback like this is genuinely useful to us.
It’s great to know that, despite the few issues along the way, you’re pleased with the finished bed. Thank you again for choosing The Oak Bed Store and for your honest feedback.

I researched a lot when finding a new bed, I came across this company which I had never heard of before. The prices are good, and the beds are designed so well, made from solid wood. I asked a few general questions which were responded too very quickly.
The delivery process initially seems a little weird to be honest, the fact that you’re ordering a large item and you cannot select a delivery date. But it all worked out, the process was seamless due to the companies quick response. I went away on holiday and I was able to delay delivery.
The actual bed is such good quality, and lovely design. I haven’t used it for a long time so I cannot speak to the durability, but so far I am very impressed. Also love having supported a family run business.
Do not hesitate to buy your bed from here, you won’t regret it.

Most of all, thank you for your kind words about supporting a family-run business and for your recommendation — that truly means a great deal to us.
