Excellent and detailed course. Well worth the investment, skills for life.

I have to say that I enjoyed this course immensely. John just gets it, he knows you are there to push yourself out of your comfort zone and every step of the course is designed to build your confidence and it has worked.

I actually took something alot more important away with me than learning how to present in public, and that was to ensure that i learn to live in 'the now' and not think about the future and all of those worries that may never happen.

This morning I am going to take my 12 year
old daughter out for breakfast (she said to her mum, "why does Dad always work and why doesnt he want to spend anytime with me" which broke my heart) and I am leaving my phone at home. I am going to be with her and i am going to be engaged in everything she has to say. Shamefully, I wouldn't have thought about doing that before meeting John.

I cannot recommend this course highly enough, you will get so much more out of it than just the confidence to stand up in front of people

A very productive session, really got a lot from this. John adds a very personal touch, which helps bring his advice to life.

Already began applying the rule number 1, and with more training I believe I can do public speaking seriously well.

John is a class person to spend a day with (wouldn’t mind more tbh 😉) and all team mates rocked and were very authentic and passionate.

Not easy to dedicate a full day due to busy schedules, young family and all kinds of flu season obstacles, but it was totally worth it!

I was dreading doing this course but was made to feel immediately at ease and although some of the exercises can feel a bit ‘cringe’, it’s a very cleverly designed day which slowly breaks down your barriers bit by bit. I already knew quite a few of the tips and tricks on paper but putting them into practise alongside all the support and motivation was hugely helpful. Highly recommend.

For everyone in the grips of public speaking fear, this course will be an eternal gift. It will break through your fear and make you truly understand that there is a way out of the panic stage. For years, I have avoided every situation where public speaking was required, and I no longer believed I could overcome this fear. This course is cliche-free and was a unique experience that changed my perception and challenged my deep-rooted beliefs. Yes, overcoming stage fright is possible! John is exceptional at delivering the message and will guide you through a day that will change your life.

This was a really enjoyable and engaging day. John is a wonderful teacher and built the day step by step with exercises to build confidence speaking in front of the whole group. He kept us entertained and made it all very relaxed. Highly recommend to anyone who has a fear of presenting or public speaking as this will move you well along the journey.

A very good course, really made me think about public speaking differently. John’s approach, advice and recommendations are solid for removing the barrier preventing me from performing well. Would highly recommend it - should be a must do for everyone in a corporate (or any) work environment.

I recently attended this course run by John Deery and it was excellent.

A very different approach to anything I have done before in the past, it centres around the emotional connection and gives you simple tools to work with rather than structure and process which most presentation skills focus on.
John shares a lot of his vast experience and breaks down what is for many a very difficult skill to master, but ultimately gives you some control and confidence back.

I would recommend anyone who struggles with public speaking to do this course, it was a real eye opener and has given me the confidence boost I was looking for.

This is by far the best Public Speaking course I have been on. It is more than just learning the basic tools of how to public speak, it is about going deep into finding out why emotionally you have a worry about public speaking, and silencing that little voice in your head that makes you fearful.

I come away feeling empowered and excited for the next time I have to get up and speak in front of people. I now understand my internal limitations better ! Go for it don’t hesitate ! Believe me you won’t regret it !

John does a great job of helping us to deal with our public speaking worries with a combination of directly addressing how we approach events and also intuitively helping us to change our limiting behaviour.
This was more than simply teaching a set of techniques. Each of the participants seemed to arrive at cathartic moments and explore what may have been holding us back all along. However it was not a psychological process but a practical approach to dealing with something that can otherwise hold us back.
I very much enjoyed this course and highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling to express their voice in situations in which we inevitably find ourselves.

I recently attended John's latest course and, given the stellar reviews, my expectations were already high. However, John exceeded all my expectations. The course is fantastic for those who are terrified of public speaking as well as for those who want to refine their skills even further; by the end of the day, we were all able to deliver a speech confidently. This course has not only boosted my confidence in public speaking but also in other areas of my life. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to step out of their comfort zone and develop themselves.

The instructor, John, is excellent - his teaching methods are unique and he aims to get you comfortable with the uncomfortable (public speaking) early in the course. He gives you clear actionable feedback on what you do well and what you need to improve on, which I really appreciated. He’s also very entertaining and has some fascinating life stories. All told, I found the course really useful and great value for money.
