I did have some trouble navigating the site, but customer service always addressed my issue and got me going again.

Great with communication and great staff to work with.

I always use the chat box and I have great experiences getting answers to my questions with a follow up email outlining my information.

Finding a team of writers and editors who see your vision and can create it takes some time. But once you do, your experiences with TUW will be great. Their customer support is second to none.

The writers on the Urban Writers are incredibly talented. I had so many great candidates that I had a really hard time choosing. There is a chat icon on the bottom left of any given page when you are using the website. It makes it super easy to get help whenever you need it, and the customer support team is fantastic. I plan on using the same writer I used last time for me next book as well.

I had an awful experience with The Urban Writer’s Dibbly Create (Dibbly Inc.) and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a professional writing service.

I paid $1,050.93 on December 27, 2024, for a 30,000-word book with a January 16, 2025, deadline. The assigned writer, Ana Taylor, failed to deliver the completed first draft on time. I was able to view a few chapters on the Dibbly Create platform, but I had to constantly remind the writer to adjust the tone because it was neither conversational nor engaging. The writing contained AI-generated content with minimal human editing, including overused phrases like “nuanced,” “actionable,” “embark,” “delve,” “dive,” and “practical”—despite my clear request not to use them.

With one day remaining (January 15, 2025), Ana Taylor abruptly stopped working and emailed Dibbly support, leaving my book incomplete. Since then, I have lost access to my project and have received only delayed, inconsistent responses from customer support.

Issues with Dibbly Create:
• Failure to deliver a completed book – The first draft was never finished by the agreed-upon deadline.
• Unprofessional business practices – The assigned writer abandoned the project without notice and ignored communication.
• Fake business details – The company lists fake addresses online, and their phone number is just a voice recording with no real customer support.
• Delayed and inconsistent customer service – Support emails either went unanswered or took an unreasonable amount of time to receive a response.
• Strange and unnecessary paperwork – I was required to fill out confusing and irrelevant forms.

After escalating my complaint, I only received a partial refund of $677.47 on January 31, 2025, leaving $373.46 unpaid. A partial refund is not acceptable when the service was never completed. I did not receive a completed first draft. The writer stopped writing the book at chapter 6 and then removed all the information online, so I had nothing to view.

Dibbly Create is untrustworthy and unprofessional. If you need a book written, look elsewhere. I have filed formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery, and other consumer protection platforms to warn others about their deceptive practices.

Avoid Dibbly Create at all costs.

I loved the support I could get especially from Nyasha and Natasha who have been a great help. My book is not yet complete so I imagine I will have a lot more questions but I do appreciate that I can reach out and everything can run smoothly!

I have published two books through the Urban Writers process and worked with several of the writers, editors, formatters, book description and cover design artists.

I have been very pleased with their timeliness, expertise, and willingness to collaborate for a great product. Customer support has also been superb.

I found the TUW website very user-unfriendly. I was not able to access stuff easily and making notes on the editing of my book was impossible. My editor, although Harvard-educated, did not have an adequate command of English, sensitivity for language, or grasp of certain concepts and made some very embarrassing insertions or changes, while doing hardly any editing at all to my manuscipt. Besides the sales call, every subsequent experience I had with TUW was frustrating and time-consuming -- from Plagiarism Pro to Editing to Formatting to Cover Design. People were friendly enough but it often felt like talking to a wall. This was simply not the level of professionalism and quality of work I expected and at too high a cost. TUW came very highly recommended and I'm not sure why. Maybe I simply chose the wrong people for my project.

There was a saying, "Nobody is perfect." The writers and editors were professional in their work. It is worry-free compared to the other company I use on my first book. It can be very expensive, though.
Overall, I am very satisfied, and I highly recommend Urban Writers to those struggling like me.

This is for me the best platform to create all my books. There are so very talented writers , editors this platform has adjusted very well to the New AI era. All the writers who are using AI Ned to be certified AI writers I could not be more happy with my all my experiences

Writing and editing were excellent. Book cover design was horrible. I would've switched to a new designer.

The writer was great. She exceeded expectations in terms of producing the product and communicating.

I first saw Dibbly Create featured in a YouTube video so I signed up for their 7-day trial. Within 2 days, I cancelled the trail and subscribed to the Pro version. Dibbly's Kip AI works very well and the image is second to none. Dibbly also works great on mobile.

I am working on several different book projects in parallel and great experience overall so far. I recently published my first book on Amazon "The Stoic Women". It could not be possible without your team's collaboration. My only message is to ask your teams to continue to be focused on the customer service and quality and not look for short-cuts to deliver on a project. Also, I appreciate when team members ask for extension and provide a clear rationale - better to take more time if that helps with research and quality. Please remember that most authors or inspiring authors put a lot of work and financial investment into their projects despite the help from the Urban Writers teams. For some of us new authors, many of our ideas are really based on our passion and something we truly believe in and sometimes it is a dream. So, by helping us, you at UW are really making our dreams come true. I am grateful to all of you out there who are passionate about making the dreams come true.

As a first time customer I had a lot of questions. I found the support I received to be timely, helpful and professional. I had difficulties finding the right ghost writer, took three starts, and again, the help and advice from the support team was excellent. I have two books from TUW and both are of a very high standard. The freelancers I worked with in the end were all very professional and their work was of a very high standard.

I was not completely satisfied with the book I received. The videos explaining the process were not very clear, and I struggled to understand them. I assumed that by purchasing one of the most expensive packages, I would receive the best possible outcome. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

It’s important to fully understand the process before getting started to avoid losing your money and ending up with a product you dislike, which makes it hard to decide whether to publish or not. I found it disappointing that the system automatically approves work regardless of what the client may be experiencing, leaving little opportunity for thorough reviews.

I understand the challenges on the writer’s side as well, but this first experience has made me hesitant about writing more books through this platform. I had high hopes for this process, but now I would caution anyone considering it to approach carefully.

For years, I have shared my affiliate code and later my personalized URL after the system update. Throughout this time, I trusted their platform, actively recommending it to my audience and clients. However, I now find myself in the absurd situation where, despite all my efforts, I haven’t received a single commission.

To ensure everything was working correctly, I ran a test with three trusted users who placed orders using both my personalized URL and affiliate code. The result was undeniable: I didn’t receive any of those three commissions. This raises a serious question: How many commissions like these have I lost over the years?

When I reported the issue, the only solution they offered was to provide the emails of the people who used my link. This shows a complete misunderstanding of how affiliate marketing works: there’s no scenario in which someone sharing an affiliate link or code can know the email addresses of those who use it. Whether you’re a content creator, YouTuber, or any other affiliate, this request is simply impossible.

It’s incredibly frustrating that, instead of thoroughly investigating what appears to be a clear tracking error, they place the responsibility on the affiliate with unrealistic demands. This lack of professionalism and understanding is deeply disappointing.

If you’re considering working with their affiliate program, think twice before investing your time and effort. The experience can be both frustrating and unfair.
