I had a great experience at The Women’s Clinic. Dr Smith put me at ease and took time to listen to my symptoms. Her advice was practical and straightforward, with all the options explained in detail to enable me to make an informed decision.

Dr Smith was professional, friendly and very reassuring. I would highly recommend her to friends and family.

Dr Catherine was so helpful and understanding at my recent appointment to discuss my menopause symptoms. She took me through all the treatment options and really took the time to make me feel at ease and to make sure I understood all the different options. I would highly recommend The Women's Clinic!

Catherine takes a detailed history, is empathetic snd listens intently. She clarifies what you have said along the way and then helps structure an individualised plan to help manage symptoms. I wish I'd come sooner, please don't wait if you are struggling with symptoms, Catherine will help you find your way back to your self again. Highly recommend, superb experience.

We spent an hour going through options in detail and talking about my history. I asked so many questions and was met with patience and understanding. I left feeling heard and with a path to feeling better.

It was a great experience for me. Dr. Smith is very professional and knowledgeable in women's health. She is also very patient and a good listener. I discussed my concern with her, and exchanged our thoughts and came up with a plan. I like that when GP actually comes up with a plan with the clients. It's worth the visit!

Having the time and space to talk about all aspects of menopause and health with Dr Smith was so helpful. I felt assured that the treatment approach offered was the correct one for me

I went to my appointment with a full, detailed list of all my symptoms and also what I hoped to get out of the appointment considering my choice to go private over NHS; I wanted to make sure I got the most out of it. My GP didn't know anything about the menopause or have any credentials in menopause studies or related issues, so he was just giving me prescriptions for whatever his PDR tells him to prescribe, for this and that. It was sort of aimless and reaping no results. Nothing was working for me and I became frustrated because 50% of the population is female and NHS doctors are either not trained or don't adequately inform themselves on the menopause in order to help us- us; half the population. Speaking to someone who understands what I am talking about was all the difference. Dr. Catherine Birchmore spoke to me for just over 40 minutes and we covered everything on my list and created a treatment plan which she then relayed to my GP directly, who got on board right away (I think he was grateful and happy I would not be consistently contacting him on issues he knew nothing about). We have made some adjustments to my treatment and I am all around feeling much better and most of all I don't feel unheard.
