The product didn't arrive the first time. However, after sending an e-mail, 31:8 sent me the poster again, which arrived within a couple of days. Probably, the original problem was a postal delivery... もっと見る

As Safeguarding lead for our church and registered with 318 as such, receive emails from them regularly with training updates etc I was extremely unimpressed with the DBS department refusing to answer a general enquiry about who needed DBS now as Working Together 2026 has changed criteria for education.
They refused to answer as I am not the named DBS person for our church even though I gave church ID and my name.
They 'don't answer general queries'!!
What is confidential about that query from a designated Safeguarding Lead.

It sounds as though you are not currently registered as one of the DBS representatives for your organisation (known as Recruiters). As a result, our Disclosure Team would be unable to assist you with DBS-related enquiries.
If you are likely to have future DBS enquiries, the team would be happy to support you to become a Recruiter. This is a quick and straightforward process that can usually be completed within one working day. However, if you do not wish to become a Recruiter, any DBS-related enquiries will need to be directed through one of the individuals already registered as a Recruiter for your organisation.
For general enquiries, as a member organisation, you should be able to access our Safeguarding Helpline.
In addition, you may also prefer to contact the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) directly on 03000 200 190 for further assistance.
