A friendly family business who dealt with us at all times in a professional but extremely friendly way. Sam’s knowledge, of the various makes and models of motorhomes on site helped us make the final decision to change our motorhome, he was patient and at no time pressurised us into making the change. Other staff we met with, Alexander, Charlotte and Mark were again always friendly and approachable.
No hesitation in recommending Thompson Leisure to anyone considering trading in or purchasing a new motorhome.

I would reiterate everything that Thelma (aka Patti) wrote and then put bells on. Just the loveliest people to deal with. The van - Petite Premier - was great to drive. Just had an amazing and memorable experience with TLL Rental Service! We couldn't speak highly enough about the treatment we received - from the start to the finish of the entire experience! Sarah, Steph and Anne couldn't have been more helpful - and understanding - in spite of having to deal with a couple of scatter-brained women!! From the initial booking through to the guided tour of the camper-van they were not only very professional but also very patient and supportive. Thank you all for your support and understanding and also thank you Steph for finding the 'Parking Ticket' stuck to the bonnet of my car!! Its a pity it didn't just blow off on our journey back to you!! Excellent service from this company. Hired a motorhome for two weeks from them in May 2025. The motorhome was brand new. Immaculate condition, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The whole process from booking through pick-up and drop-off was very smooth. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We needed a little support/assistance when we were on our trip and their response was prompt and helpful. Well done Thompson Leisure - particularly Stephanie - keep up your excellent standards. We'll definitely be back again.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service received from Thompson Leisure. From the start, the experience felt impersonal and money-driven. The initial handover lacked proper training or guidance, we were left with minimal instruction on how to properly operate the vehicle and its systems.
Later, we were blamed for draining the battery, despite never being shown how to monitor or manage it properly. Instead of a helpful or understanding response, we were met with a defensive attitude and ultimately charged a significant amount from our deposit. It felt unfair and opportunistic.
What should have been an enjoyable family experience turned into a stressful and expensive one. Meeting the team for the first time, we didn’t feel welcome or supported, just like we were another transaction. I wouldn’t recommend this company based on our experience.

We had to cancel our trip and you were very sympathetic about it and returned our money straightaway.

Customer service was great.
However we were missing pieces to make up the bed to the size needed and the rear view mirror electrical device did not work.
Van was immaculate and we would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Robin who could not have been more helpful. He listened to our requirements and showed us motorhomes that suited.
The buying process was easy and Robin made sure he was present on the day of the handover.
We hope after sales is a good as sales.

Van in real life, actually looked like exactly like pictures on website.

Super important - was able to leave my car at their base.
Van was spotless
I left an item on board and they posted it back to me.
Was able to ring them for advice while out and about.
Was able to bring the van back late on my final day so it didn't have to be back too early in the morning - no extra charge.

Big shout out to the friendly, helpful and enthusiastic one and only Stevie Maghie ! Stevie went above and beyond with amazing contact from viewing to the actual purchase ( even on his day off ) . We also had a very professional handover and a nice touch that Stevie was there too. The after sales/ service team have been great too, sorting us out with a few very minor issues.
If you are looking for a motorhome dont go past Thompson leisure . Absolutely no hesitation in recommending !

Foolish enough to purchase not one but two motorhomes from this dealer. The first one was the wrong configuration, had numerous faults, a poor dealer fit-out and a joke of a handover. It was rejected and we reluctantly forked out another £20,000 to upgrade to a "better" one.
After only 5 weeks, the gearbox failed and could not be repaired or replaced for more than 5 months.
We also rejected that motorhome (in July 2024) and were promised a full refund, and then later a 50% interim refund as "a gesture of good faith."
Thompson immediately reneged on that offer, and refused to pay the refund for what turned out to be 5 and a half months.
Very poor communication, failure to stick to their word and callously kept our money while we were 12,000 miles away and could do nothing.
We did eventually receive the refund, by dint of relentlessly following up, but nothing by way of compensation or interest on our money they kept for 5 and a half months.
I will never trust this dealer again with my business.

I recently purchased a new Burstner Lyseo TD745 Harmony Line from Stephen Maghie in Sales and was delighted with the experience. So when I needed a number of accessories fitted I contacted Stephen Horner in Aftersales. He quoted me a very competitive price for all the accessories that I wanted and I was also very impressed with the quality of the accessories to be fitted e.g. solar panel and inverter. As a result I again travelled over from Scotland to get the parts fitted. Denver and his colleagues professionally fitted all the parts and made sure that I was happy with the work carried out and also took the time to ensure that I knew how they all worked. Once again I am delighted with my experience with Thompsons and highly recommend this company. Nothing was too much trouble

Buying a new campervan is a big investment and can be quite daunting. Stephen Maghie made my choices simple and gave me all the time I needed to both test drive and look around a couple of vehicles. Once I had made my choice he has been completely efficient and has maintained excellent contact with me throughout the process of registration and handing over vehicles. I am excited to be getting a new van in 2025 and am looking forward to the continued excellence of customer service I have received so far. It is clear that some companies want to sell and move on. Thompson Leisure is not one of those. This is the second time I’ve bought from this company and hopefully not the last.

I just purchased a used motorhome from Thompson’s. There is no where on the island of Ireland with a better selection of motorhomes. They did all the paperwork to slow to import it into the south. All the staff I dealt with were s helpful and professional. I mainly dealt with Stephen who was brilliant. He kept me informed all the way through the process. He also really knew his stuff concerning motorhomes.

Wish I could say I had a good experience. Bought a new Hymer in June this year and it had wrong cab carpet. Have emailed them on numerous occasions but they just ignore my emails so have had to go directly to Hymer.
I expected better.
