Richard Fink IV is a clever, inspirational and passionate THROGA vocal instructor that along with his “7 Dimensions of Singing” helps you to highlight and work on areas of your voice that may be lacking.

Richard Fink is the key to singing more confidently and comfortably. Before I started his lessons I had trouble singing high notes and would always have strain but since I had his help I’ve been able to do his vocal exercises before every show and my range went from only being able to sing low and somewhat high to being able to sing notes I didn’t know I Could sing!

Richard and Throga are incredible. I've had a chance to see my wife use it, my daughter use it and they improved dramatically in their vocal talents. My wife now uses the technique to coach her own students and they love it. I've also worked with Richard directly on a few of his retreats as a fitness and nutrition coach to support his singing technique. He is a great mentor and person to boot.

Working with Richard really blossomed my granddaughter’s singing abilities! Richard and crew were the knowledge, expertise and the continual support she needed to really learn to sing! Gratitude always and a very high recommendation for Throga and Richard!

Throga is 5 stars for sure. The online Vocal Gym is definitely worth checking out. I also recommend purchasing 7 dimensions of singing you won't be disappointed.

Richard Fink IV has been my vocal coach for almost 4 years now. I am so grateful for him, the throga technique, the 7 dimensions of singing, and the vocal gym. Richard Fink IV being my vocal coach and introducing me to throga and the 7dimensions of singing has completely helped me grow as a vocalist. Richard Fink IV is an amazing vocal coach. He is patient, caring, knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. Also, he challenges me and pushes me in good way to help me become a better vocalist. He knows my voice even better than probably I do. I look forward to our lessons. Even the warmups are fun and he is always introducing new scales for me to warmup with and challenging me, which keeps me engaged and wanting to improve. Richard has helped me explore new genres of music that I might not have considered like musicals. He is inspiring as a vocal coach and has inspired me to want to become one. The 7 dimensions of singing are amazing. Thank you Richard for introducing me to them. They take the quess work out of what areas of my voice I should be working on. I have seen a great improvement in my voice by working on the 7 dimensions of singing. Also, I have seen a great improvement in my voice because of the vocal gym. This is amazing online course. I have learned so much about the voice from the vocal gym. The information that was presented is presented in a way that keeps you engaged and wanting to learn more. The exercises are fun and it like have Richard right there as in a lesson. As a vocalist you can wonder what exercises to do. The vocal gym takes the quess work out of that by providing which exercises to do and how to improve your voice. The tracker within the vocal gym that tracks how long you have spent in the vocal gym is invaluable and so helpful. I can't say enough or express enough gratitude for Richard Fink IV, throga, the 7 dimensions of singing, and the vocal gym.

I have studied with Richard Fink IV for 7 years now, and I would not be as strong of a vocalist as I am today without his guidance and training. Out of all the different techniques I’ve learned throughout my time as a vocalist, Throga has been the most helpful in reaching my goals as a singer. Having the knowledge of the 7 dimensions of singing allows you to pinpoint exactly how your voice works, and the vocal gym consists of a wide variety of vocal exercises that will not only strengthen every aspect of your voice, but will allow you to overcome each obstacle you come across on your vocal journey.

I wouldn’t be the singer I am today without using THROGA. I couldn’t recommend it more to other singers.

Throga is a must for anyone who loves music and singing! Richard Fink IV is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of music and vocalization, and the Throga technique is incredible.

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Richard Fink IV is!! Richard is a fantastic coach - and he LOVES teaching and singing! My son went through puberty, a major voice change, and he had lost much of his natural confidence while struggling to find his voice again. Richard, Throga, the vocal gym and the seven dimensions of singing all gave my son the JOY back when he sings! I love listening to Richard coach him every week and hear Cameron continuously improve. Richard takes the time to assess what portions of his voice / vocal cords that Cameron can strengthen and fosters his love of singing and performing. He is an incredible coach and I would HIGHLY recommend him and his Seven Dimensions of Singing to anyone that is looking to grow their vocal talents.

Practical and inspiring! Over the years, I've worked with various singers who've embraced Throga. If you need confidence, clarity, and a polished technique, I recommend trying this method.

I cannot say enough good things about Richard Fink IV. Richard’s Throga technique is an approach unlike any other I’ve come across. His motto, “if you can speak, you can sing” sets the tone for everything else he teaches. I’m still working on belief in myself in this area, but knowing that he recognizes the voice as an instrument that you can learn how to use really makes it all feel possible and worthwhile to learn how to sing, even if you feel like you aren’t capable. The 7 Dimensions of Singing is a very scientific and practical approach, breaking down the different parts involved in singing into their own category, and really helping you identify not only WHAT you need to work on, but also HOW. He gives you exercises specific to each part of the voice, so you are not randomly trying an exercise and hoping it helps, but instead, you have a science-backed targeted approach. That all being said, what impresses me more than anything is his love for what he does and who he serves. His kindness and patience make anyone who wants to learn this technique feel like they are heard, truly valued, and given the time, space, attention, and tools needed to optimize their learning journey. Would give more stars if I could!

About 6 years ago, and after much hesitance, I went from being just a guitar player to a guitar player/singer in a one man band playing 7 shows a week.

Having had no formal training prior to that and lacking the basic knowledge of what the human voice as an instrument is, I ran into some issues and had to stop singing for a while. Thankfully, no actual damage occurred.

This happened shortly before my birthday and my partner had already booked some sessions with Richard from the Throga team as a present for me before I ran into issues with my voice (talk about timing!).

Richard was able to get me back to singing in no time and provided me with tools that I've used everyday since we had our sessions.

His knowledge, ability to spot and hear what's going on and somehow curate all of that to really tailor the information and content to fit the individual needs was simply outstanding.

On top of everything else he's a sweetheart and shares a love for rock music.

I saw Richard turn my really good singer into a really great performer. The techniques Richard uses makes it easy to take your vocal ability to the next level.

I hired Richard Fink IV as a vocal coach for my students right before their BIG production. A bit of background here, these students were from different walks of life and ethnicities. The kiddos NEVER worked with a vocal coach before and they NEVER put on a production like this before. The session happened right around the pandemic so we were extremely limited in what we could accomplish. However, Richard went above and beyond my expectations. He had the kids laughing, singing, and as each moment progressed, I could see their confidence build and build. It was exactly what these kids needed in such an uncertain time. Richard taught his Throga methodology to middle school students. I thought it would go right over their heads. Nope! They grasped the concept and utilized the tools the night of their performance. Let me tell you, the confidence they brought forth and their singing was INCREDIBLE and it is all thanks to Richard Fink IV and his Throga methods. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to take their singing to the next level and or even brush up on some basics. He can work with anyone and get ANYONE to sing. Most importantly, to sing correctly!

Richard Fink IV and his Throga technique and & 7 dimensions of singing are the best! My daughter started with him and lacked any confidence in her singing abilities. She would never let me hear her sing and she would dread any auditions where there was singing. Since then I hear her singing to herself on a regular basis and she no longer fears those auditions and there has been a definite change in her and her voice. I look forward to seeing and hearing the continued growth in her voice and her confidence with Richard!
