The Timeless Chesterfields brand is owned and operated by Saxon Furniture Ltd, an employee-owned British company who have been expertly hand-crafting Chesterfield leather and fabric furniture for 40 years.
The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields in the country, without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom.
It's an honesty that has served us well for 40 years and is evident not only in the workshop but across the company from, the showroom staff to customer services to the delivery team to our support staff. I just got my new sofa bed Timeless…
I just got my new sofa bed from Timeless Chesterfields and I love it. I would like to thank Cristina in NY for all the help she provided to make this a very easy transaction.
I was nervous about ordering something all the way in England, but Cristina made it very easy. She kept in touch all the way to keep me updated.
The only wrinkle was getting it paid for. The site where you make the payment should put a message that if you are ordering out of the country, you will have to call a special number to your credit card issuer to verify that you are actually the one doing the ordering. Instead, the payment gets rejected then they flash the number you should call which disappears before you can even finish writing it down. Plus, the print is so small you can barely read it.
Other than that, this was a terrific experience. I looked all over to find a Chesterfield that would fit in my space and Timeless Chesterfield was the only place where I could find the size I need and came with a bed! I love my sofa and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Timeless Chesterfield is phenomenal!
Timeless Chesterfield is absolutely top notch! I highly recommended them. The chesterfield couches we received were perfection and stunning. The entire process of purchasing from overseas was a little scary for us. Christina was so patient with us, walked us through every step and communicated in a timely manner. We were able to customize and pick out all the accessories. They have a huge selection of leathers and fabrics. We chose white glove delivery derive and it was outstanding. They called, emailed, sent text messages and treated our furniture with extreme care. I absolutely love the furniture from Timeless Chesterfield!

A beautiful Chesterfield chair ordered from England delivery to Spained…
A beautiful Chesterfield chair ordered by telephone from Spain to Saxon of Bolton to be delivered to Spain. Delivery was excellent the people at Saxons kept in touch until it arrived at my house. The quality was superb made by master craftsmen, I cannot recommend Saxsons enough what a pleasure to deal with such professional people.

I love the sofa.
When I tried to make the final payment, it was identified that you don't take Discover Card. I then tried to use my other credit card, but your system kept blocking it. It was a frustrating couple of hours where I had to call the card company several times only to find that the problem was on your end. The sofa is great, but I wish the back was 2 inches higher. Also, why do you use 4 baby cushions when 3 would look a lot better. It makes the appearance a little disappointing. It also arrived a month later than originally quoted. However, the craftsmanship and materials are excellent.

Had a issue with the seem on our…
Had a issue with the seem on our footstool that we had for a less than 6 weeks. Took pictures sent it to them as asked. They.came back as not their problem you must have done it. We are 60s no kids no pets so blame us which is laughable. Lets see, gets loaded on a container ship to northeast US than trucked to Alabama, but blame the old couple so we dont have to fix it. For the money its not worth the risk, better to buy local or from someone that stands behind their products. Lessoned learned
Update...after our US sales rep Christina explained our issues. Things have taken a turn in the right direction. And I would like to adjust my review to 5 star. After they realized I wasn't asking for something free we were able to get a good resolution to our issue. The furniture we is very nice and now the service is matching the furniture

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
We sincerely apologize that you were dissatisfied with the handling of the issue you brought to our attention earlier this month regarding the bespoke footstool we manufactured for you.
In your review you mention the shipment of your furniture from the Northeast US then trucked to Alabama.
In the unlikely event that any damage was to occur during the delivery from our workshop in England to our customers across the US, we do have insurance protection in place to address any issues.
However, given the 3 months between your November delivery and when you first notified us of the issue in February, we could not confirm if the damage occurred in transit.
Additionally, since receiving your review, we have received pictures taken on delivery by the furniture delivery company that appear to show the footstool in good condition.
Indeed, in one picture it clearly shows the delivery team installing the feet on the footstool which given the location of the issue that has been reported, any damage would have been very visible while this task was being performed.
As no issues were reported on delivery and based on the pictures we have received we are confident that the footstool was delivered in good condition.
We will be emailing these delivery pictures to you shortly for your reference.
Regarding the issue you raised, as this was brought to our attention some 3 months after delivery, we have had extensive discussions with our workshop team to review how the fabric in a non-load bearing area at the corner of the footstool could have separated without any impact.
The conclusion of our review was that we cannot conceive how the issue given its location could have arisen because of any failure relating to the materials and workmanship.
Regardless of how the issue occurred, we understand it is frustrating and inconvenient. We never intend to blame valued customers or avoid addressing issues with our products.
To this end as we expressed in our previous correspondence, we do want to work with you to find a solution.
Our previous offer still stands to provide any support or materials if you are able to connect with a local furniture repair service who we believe should be able to undertake a repair.
We will be in contact with you again today to attempt to find a solution for you.

Purchasing sight-unseen, a new experience
We looked into Timeless Chesterfields and while they seemed to be a solid, trustworthy, going concern, we were somewhat hesitant making an investment in a piece of fine furniture without ever having the opportunity to actually see or sit on it first (we are located in the States).
The material sample process was excellent and all the communication was clear and informative and made us comfortable with the idea of buying furniture sight-unseen, especially with all of the potential shenanigans involving leather quality.
Fabrication, shipping and delivery went smoothly and we were kept informed every step of the way. We opted for the white-glove delivery.
We love our new Chesterfield, it is everything we had hoped it would be - excellently made of high-quality materials (including the leather) with a timeless appearance. It looks like it has been part of our home forever.
We would not hesitate to purchase another piece of furniture from Saxon again, everything about the process was confidence-inspiring and professional. We highly recommend them!

I had several contacts and the lady in charge of my file was always so kind and ready to help.
Wonderful quality of the Chesterfield I was dreaming of for about 20 years.

I just received my beautiful Chesterfield sofa and two Richmond chairs in navy blue velvet. I worked with Pauline Rushton from the company and she was extremely helpful each step along the way. The pieces were delivered exactly on time and with great care. I could not be more pleased. Unfortunately, my cat loves them, too.

Most beautiful piece of furniture I own!
First and foremost my sofa is beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for. I had been looking for a Chesterfield sofa here in the US and had not thought about buying one from the UK. I happened upon an internet add for Timeless Chesterfields and looked at their site. They had a wonderful selection with many different options of fabrics and leather. When I spoke to them, Pauline was so incredibly helpful. She sent me samples of all the colors leather I was interested in. The order process was easy. I was surprised for this custom made sofa it really didn't take too long to build and ship. The shipping and delivery was perfect. My sofa came in perfect condition and exactly what I expected from pictures I had seen. This was such an easy experience to order. The sofa is beautiful and I got to customized it to my liking. And honestly the price was better than much of what I saw I could purchase from stores in the US for a Chesterfield sofa of this quality.

Based on our conversations and upon further investigation, we have concluded that the appearance of the seat cushions is actually intentional and is part of the design of our Hampton range.
In fact, the majority of seat cushions across our range intentionally protrude slightly over the edge of the seat platform.
Furthermore, we are actively working on a solution to address the concern you raised about the movement of the seats.

Low price, good quality original british chesterfield furniture
Timeless Chesterfield and Saxon Furnitures offers low price good quality original british chesterfield furniture with genuine leather cover. I have never found such good quality at such a low price anywhere else on the internet.Many colours are available. Upholstery fabric samples can be ordered. The sales ladies answer all questions competently and promptly. I am very satisfied with the design and the comfort of the furniture. I'm curious how long the upholstery fabric will retain its beauty, but leather ages beautifully... Highly Recommended.
