I recently did something I originally told family and friends I'd never do and that is spend thousands on buying a car I've never seen and after speaking to a number of garages I still wouldn't. However, after coming across Tim Hayward Car Sales that's exactly what is did. Based on the service I received I'd have no issue with doing the same again through Tim Hayward and can't recommend them enough. From my initial conversation to handing over the keys they were friendly and helpfully. With no way of seeing the car they showed a large number of photos of the car on their web-page and Auto Trader plus also sent me a very detailed video of inside and outside of the car. Once all the back and forth was done and we virtually shook hands on the deal, the delivery was also perfect. The date the car was delivered was my choice, and as this was the first time i'd seen the car in the flesh i wasn't disappointed. Exactly as described, and every went above and beyond expectations fixing a small scuff (which was point out to me in the video) perfectly. It was only at the point I was happy with everything did the money get transferred. Which I have to say due to my bank was the most long winded part, but the guy who delivered the car was great and very understanding and we got their in the end.
Over the years I've bought many cars, the experience of dealing with Tim Hayward Cars has to be one of the best.
The car itself was prepared perfectly, the prices was more than reasonable, everything in the whole process was hassle stress free, I couldn't be happier.

Tim and his team were brilliant to deal with and delivered my car free of charge as I was within their 150 mile delivery radius. Given COVID, my purchase was easier than under normal circumstances and Tim sorted my finance for me within the day. Easy to deal with, quick to answer any questions and would be happy to recommend - will keep an eye on their stock as my car was the best I’d found across the country! Definitely 5 stars!

I’ve been buying cars for decades. I’ve always got six or seven cars on the family and business fleet. The latest acquisition was buying a mint Volvo V90 from Tim Hayward’s of Cardiff.
The sales team dealt with my enquiry in a professional, friendly and forthright way. I don’t always feel like this with car dealers.
They didn’t oversell and gave accurate information at all times, I’d recommend this dealership to anyone.
The car was delivered to me in Hertfordshire. The two staff members that came were brilliant, they showed me key features and were amazingly patient when the payment transfers didn’t happen as planned due to Nat West’s fraud team blocking high value transactions, it took over an hour to solve this problem on a Saturday afternoon.
I can see why the revues are sooo good for this business, they set the bar high, I appreciate their efforts.

Finally found a car with the desired spec at Tim Haywards, made contact and the sale was handled by Triston who was very helpful & professional throughout. Due to the location 3.5 hrs away Triston gave us a detailed appraisal of the car which was spot on in terms of accuracy. On the day of collection met Triston who again was very helpful and clearly enjoys his job and strives to make your collection ,test drive or enquiry a positive one. Genuine honest person without the pushy salesman trait.

I was a bit wary of buying a car from a dealer 100 miles away and without inspecting it first. However Tristan was most helpful sending over 100 photos and a video. I ordered the car and it was delivered the next day! Delivery driver was very efficient and courteous. Very pleased with car and excellent service from all concerned. Thanks Tristan.

I bought a car from here a few weeks ago, and the after sales service has been excellent.

I received quick responses to all my questions before I viewed the car, and was sent a walkaround video and the car looked immaculate. In person the car was as good as it looked in the pictures and the video.

I have had a couple of issues with the car, which is to be expected due to it being 7 years old, and Tristan has been very helpful and friendly each time I have talked with him.

The warranty company refused to pay out on the 2 issues, so I emailed Tristan and he quickly assured me that they would sort something with the warranty agent, and failing that, that he would make sure that I would not be out of pocket.

True to his word the money was sent to my account.

These guys are genuine and care about their customers. No pushy sales technique,no upselling extended warranties,or paint protection ect... which the bigger companies try to do to you.

Don't hesitate to buy from these guys if you see a car that you like from them, you will not be disappointed.

Buying a car from Tim Hayward Garage has proved to be a good decision on my part. Customer service was first class and the after sales was brilliant.
I had a problem with the car at first which caused me some concern but a call to the Garage resulted in the car being collected the next day (I live 60 miles away from the garage ) and brought back a few days later as good as new .
Staff have proved to be friendly and helpful and would therefore have no hesitation in using them again.

Buying a used car can be, all too often, an experience that varies from just about ok to downright unpleasant. Not so with Tim Hayward Car Sales.

I think it was either fate or just plain old good luck that I found the exact car that I'd been looking for about half a mile from where I live.

The whole experience was first-class from start to finish and Tristan, Tim and the team were spot-on with everything. Was the car perfect - it's 8 years old and there were one or two minor issues needing attention - no car is perfect - but these were sorted out promptly without any fuss.

Would I buy another car from Tim again - definitely as long as he's in no hurry as the car I just changed from I had 10 years and the one before that was 17 years!!

5 star service - definitely!!
