I'm writing as someone who runs a charity using Tithe.ly and as someone who has donated through the system.

I found it to be barely functional, buggy and frustrating from both perspectives. I tried to set up a recurring donation which failed, so I tried again which worked. Now I found I've been deducted twice. I checked my account recently and could only see one recurring payment on my account so I don't know how that happened (the website seems to be down right now so I can't double check - the page just isn't loading).

As a charity, we occasionally get messages from people saying they tried to donate but it didn't work and it makes me wonder if there are others that just gave up.

This is in the UK - maybe the system works better elsewhere, but I'll be cancelling my organisations' use of Tith.ly in the near future. It is hassle because some members might just think it is a good time to cancel their membership, but I don't want to be locked into a system I don't have faith in.

Tithely makes giving easy for our church members. It also makes it easy for me as treasurer to give them giving statements.

I corresponded with other pastors about online giving during the Covid lockdown. I checked it out and was amazed to find out that Tithely Giving was available with the only costs being the fees paid per transaction. There was no subscription fee for using it. Tithely Giving has worked well for us.

Tithe.ly is an incredible convenience for donors!

Very easy to setup. Support is great if you need help.

Easy to use, but could use some enhancements.

They definitely need to add a "Memo" option to the giving to allow donors the ability to make a notation about their donation.

While I would prefer to speak with someone immediately, having the chat is helpful (get rid of the BOT), and the team members usually respond via email within 24 hours. Not having immediate help when there is a challenge proves troublesome.

Tithely is very easy to use. When I have had questions, the support personnel have always been extremely helpful in answering questions and resolving the issue.

Over the last year and half I have build a relationship with Tithely and feel they value our church.

I don't think it is as user friendly. It is harder to see what is pending.

Working with Tithe.ly has been a very good experience and the new Tithe.ly 2.0 reports have been great.
I like the idea of marking the bank deposit as reconciled, that has been MORE THAN HELPFUL!

I receive an email to let me know when funds have been sent to our church. It is a reminder for me to look and follow the information into our bank. It is greatly appreciated.

Past customer. Order unfulfilled, no communication regarding cancellation. Possibly data harvesting company. Recommend avoid.

I can understand cancelling and not fulfilling orders, but the passive aggressive responses from Justin afterwards and trying to shift blame onto people from OzBargain when the true fault is with Tithe.ly's IT and Marketing teams is really unprofessional.

If their systems were good enough in the first place, something like this wouldn't have happened, and the lack of accountability makes things much worse.

Ordered cancelled without any explanation. Stay away from these guys.
