We were happy that the gift was delivered in time. When we are contacting a supplier overseas for the first time it does give us relief and builds up trust to use their services the next time.

Still hasn’t been delivered ☹️ perhaps should have set realistic shipping expectations as it’s now 5 days late
Edit to add: have emailed with your team already with order number but no real update or solution provided. It stated it was in Toronto on 23rd but hasn’t made it to the door yet by the 29th.
Edited to add: now 12 days overdue from the delivery date I paid for. And your reply emails just say sorry for the unforeseen circumstances. 😕

Poor communication and what they perceive as customer service
I ordered from this company because they offered same-day delivery if order placed before 11am. However, by the time I entered in all my info the order was placed at 11:03am. No one called me to let me know that because it was 3 minutes late that it wouldn't be delivered same day which stopped me from being able to cancel the order and order from another company. It was only when I checked the status 2 hours later and then called "customer service" was I notified of this. The person on the line was the SAME person I spoke to with a question prior to placing the order (right before I entered order & info) so he knew it was coming and did not mention that I wouldn't be delivered today. Now I am stuck with next day delivery instead of same day because it is too late to order from any other company. To say I am angry for being handcuffed to this order and the poor service is an understatement and I will NEVER use this company or recommend them again!

As mentioned on our website, we offer same-day delivery for orders placed before 11:00 AM, as this is the cut-off time when our courier leaves for the day. Since your order was placed at 11:03 AM, it unfortunately did not qualify for same-day delivery.
I understand how disappointing it was to expect same-day service and only find out later that the order would go out the next day. I also apologize if this was not clearly communicated to you at the time — you deserved clearer information right away so you could make the best decision for your needs.

Complete scam -ordered expensive basket -claimed couldn’t be delivered due to building -wouldn’t call and then stated not refundable. So no gift, no product and out the money. Unreal -DO NOT USE this company.

To clarify, whenever an order is returned, or not delivered, we always try to offer a redelivery and, even a refund. The resolution depends on the reason the courier was unable to deliver—whether it was due to building restrictions, incomplete or inaccurate address details, or recipient unavailability. These conditions are also outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
We’re truly sorry that your experience did not reflect the standard we aim to provide.
Great customer service
I’ve relied on the Toronto Basket Company for corporate Christmas gifts over the past two years, and they’ve consistently delivered excellent service. Their website is easy to navigate, product descriptions are accurate to what arrives, and delivery has always been on time. A dependable choice for professional gifting.

Great Get Well Gift Basket
I ordered the basket to wish my sister a speedy recovery from her surgery. It was an easy process to place the order. It arrived on time without any delivery issues. She loves it.

Chocolate melted/no refund
The driver didn’t knock or ring the doorbell and just left the gift basket outside in the sun. My family didn’t find it until three hours later so the cheese was inedible, the meats were inedible, and the chocolate was melted. They tossed the cheese & meats and put the chocolate in the fridge to harden. I reached out to customer service and they asked for photos, so I sent them photos of the melted chocolate and explained my family had already tossed the other items (I live in a different province so they didn’t even send me the chocolate photos until the next day - our first thought wasn’t “document to get a refund”). They replied saying although the chocolate is melted, it’s still edible, so no refund (I wish I could attach a photo because they looked horrible - the chocolate bar melted into a weird blob and the truffles melted to the roof of the box lol). They also said because I didn’t document the cheese & meats, even though they “always refund those items if somethings wrong”, they can’t do anything about it. I understand that you need photo proof even though a picture of old warm cheese looks the same as fresh cheese, but I think it’s crazy they weren’t even willing to do anything about the chocolate. Horrible customer service. They clearly don’t care about their clientele. I’ve actually ordered multiple times from this company so I’m not a first time customer, but I will never order with them again. And I’d highly recommend you stay away as well. If they leave the baskets unattended, food could easily be tampered with or stolen. Just not safe practices at all. I’ve had better service with edible arrangements and hazeltons and other companies.
