I had a terrible experience with this company despite their stated commitment to excellent customer service. I have contacted customer service four times, and they did not respond to my last email at all. I finally tried the chat, and at the end of the chat, the customer rep had still not solved my problem, telling me they needed to investigate and would get back to me. I have not heard back.
I purchased many items and needed to return several (worth $450 all together). They sent me a return label to send the items I wanted to return through the USPS. I dropped off the return package on Thursday, June 25 and two weeks later they claim they haven't received the package. Their return labels automatically expire after a set period (which they don't disclose when they send you the label). Even though I dropped off the package at the US Post Office BEFORE it expired, the tracking information says the package was never received and that the return was "cancelled." When I contacted customer service at Honey Birdette (for the 4th time), they told me they have to check their warehouse to see if they received the package. But their practice of automatically invalidating a mailing label is problematic at best bc if there is some delay (and this is the US Post Office, so let's be real) then it can interfere with the process. I've never had this much trouble with a return in my life, and I've never had the tracking on a package list "cancelled."
Also beware that they don't provide refunds for anything that is on sale, only store credit. That's in the second paragraph of their return policy. The first paragraph says they accept all items in new condition for a full refund, so if you read the first paragraph and don't continue reading the long policy, you will get the impression that you can return anything for a refund. It would be simple for them to write "except items on sale" in the first paragraph so customers know not to purchase items that they might need to return (for fit, look, etc.).

Uw woord tegen dat van hun met een foto van hun kant als bewijs…. Had beter ook een foto genomen voor het retourneren. Schandalig om zo te werken!

Beautiful products and generally a brand I enjoy buying from, which is why this experience was disappointing. My €190 order did not arrive in time for the occasion it was purchased for. I never received any notification of the alleged delivery attempts and had to contact customer service myself to find out what was happening. While the company acknowledged my frustration, they declined any goodwill gesture after review. I like the products, but the after-sales support left me disappointed.

Honey birdette erstattet Produkt nicht, obwohl es bei der Rücksendung dabei war. Leider erneut ein Problem, wenn man mal den Kundenservice braucht. 4 Produkte wurden anstandslos erstattet. Der 5. 40 Euro wert wurde einfach nicht erstattet. Wurde direkt reklamiert und dann hieß es man solle sich doch 10 Tage gedulden. Nach 10 Tagen ist natürlich nichts passiert. Läuft jetzt über PayPal Käuferschutz. Und zum Glück habe ich ein Foto der Rücksendung gemacht, meine erste bereits schlechte Erfahrung hat mich schlauer gemacht 😏... Mal sehen wie lange es dauert. Bestellt am besten NUR mit PayPal!

Ik had wat vragen waarmee Robyn van de klantenservice mij uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam heeft geholpen. Zij weten wel wat service is bij Honey Birdette! Ook als je een vraag met de chat stelt je krijgt meteen antwoord.
Ik zal zeker opnieuw een bestelling plaatsen

i had to return a HB set that was the wrong color it took awhile for the package to arrive at the warehouse, Maya was amazing at helping me track the return and issued me a nice gift certificate to use in the future whenever i find something i like .

I did have an issue with shipping, but a customer service rep, Josephine, cleared that up in no time. Josephine was professional, personable and ensured prompt resolution. She was incredible to work with. Definitely will buy from Honey Birdette again.

worst customer service ive ever dealt with, 7 weeks and I still dont have my item and im offered 20 percent off my next purchase as an apology what a joke not to mention if you ever return anything they deduct a restocking fee which is against your statutory rights. worst company ive dealt with and I wont be using again

Customer service agents told me repeatedly my package had shipped, UPS swears they haven’t picked it up and the online chat is ignoring my requests to even chat. I want a refund and this scam agency to come offline.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.
I returned an item to Honey Birdette and what should have been a straightforward return turned into nearly two weeks of chasing customer service.
During that time I was given multiple contradictory explanations about where my refund had gone. I was initially told it had been refunded to my original payment method, then told a gift card had been issued, and later told the credit had been returned to a different gift card. I was also provided with gift card details that did not work when I attempted to use them.
The issue was only properly addressed after I submitted a formal complaint and requested escalation to management. To Honey Birdette’s credit, the leadership team did eventually investigate, apologise, and resolve the matter. However, by that point the items I had originally wanted to exchange for were no longer available.
The most frustrating part was not the value involved, but the amount of time spent chasing conflicting information and trying to establish where the credit actually was. I also raised a separate concern about a product that did not perform as advertised, which added to my disappointment with the overall experience.
The products are beautiful, but based on this experience there is significant room for improvement in customer service communication, complaint handling, and consistency of information provided to customers.

Ich und mein Mann wollten dort für einen recht hohen Betrag mit Visa einkaufen. Bestellung ging raus nach ca 1 min Bestellung seitens onlineshop storniert. O.k dachten wir uns dann halt mit PayPal. Das gleiche noch mal. Habe dann über die chat Option mit jemandem geschrieben alles erklärt. Sie sagt, dass System vermutet wird wären Betrüger und müssen uns ausweisen. Sie schickt uns eine Mail. Auch kein Problem laut der Mail Personalausweis Foto, Visa Foto und Kontoauszug Foto. Ich habe ihr darauf hin geschrieben, dass uns das langsam komisch vorkommt wofür benötigt sie ein Visa Bild wenn wir mit PayPal zahlen wollen. Ihre Aussage "weill die erste Bestellung mit Visa war".
Ich kann es verstehen, dass sich die Firma absichern möchte es ging um ca 2000€ aber ernst haft Personalausweis und Paypal Bestätigung reicht nicht? Da wir dann bedenken bekamen ob, dass wirklich seriös ist haben wir lieber verzichtet und kaufen wo anders.

I contacted the Honey Birdette team today after first speaking with DPD regarding my order. I was informed that my parcel was marked as delivered on the 11th and allegedly left with a neighbour. However, the proof of delivery provided by the DPD driver is simply a photo of a man’s arm taken outside on the pavement, holding my parcel.
The DPD app specifies the property where the parcel was supposedly left, but when I visited that address the same day, I was met by a confused elderly gentleman who confirmed he had not received any parcel. Additionally, the driver left a red “missed delivery” slip, but it was completely blank with no information provided.
DPD customer service advised that they could not assist further and directed me to contact the retailer. I reached out to Honey Birdette expecting support and for them to raise this issue with their delivery partner. Unfortunately, I was simply told that the item was marked as delivered and advised to contact the police if I believed it had been stolen. No attempt was made to investigate or open a dispute.
Having spent thousands of pounds with this company, I find this level of customer service extremely disappointing. I would expect a far more proactive response when an order has clearly not been delivered correctly.

They continue to advertise items that are out of stock. 24 hours later still showing the items. At present showing holds up and latex suspender belt reduced from £85 to £25.50 each. My order was refunded. But with no explanation until i went to customer service. Can you stop misleading people showing items you do not have to sell. It is dishonest and false advertising.

I purchased final sale stockings and after trying them on, I found they created a strange webbing from toe to calf. I ordered the proper size according to the sizing chart. They do not fit around the toes, foot, or ankle like a sock or stocking & instead create one large webbed area. I have never experienced this in my life. I made several attempts in adjusting to try and make them work. My only assumption is that these ‘designer stockings’ are cheap & without quality control. Very disappointed & a waste of hard earned money.
