This company has been very nice and friendly, they have built me a great web site and hopefully will soon take care of all my online information. I had them change some things on my website and it was no problem they took care of it in only about an hour and so far I’m impressed.

We engaged Town Square Media in mid-February 2026 with the clear goal of generating measurable new customer leads for our painting and coatings business heading into the critical spring season.
During our meeting on February 16, 2026, we contracted two main services:
• A new website with SEO optimization at $350 per month.
• A 3-month radio advertising package with ad targeting and CRM lead management totaling $2,696
We were explicitly advised that this combination would be an effective way to kick off the spring season and drive new business. After 90 days, the results have been zero. Not a single phone call or qualified lead can be attributed to Town Square Media’s radio campaign or targeted ads. The complete lack of return on investment is undeniable.
We reached out multiple times by phone and email to express our growing concerns. Each time we were told that “it takes time” and that results would eventually materialize. Ninety days later, we remain profoundly disappointed. This campaign represented a significant and unnecessary financial drain on our small business with no tangible benefit.
We have since canceled the radio and targeted advertising portion; however, we are unfortunately locked into an additional three months of payments for the website and SEO services. While we appreciate the need for some ramp-up time in advertising, a total absence of results after a full quarter, combined with repeated dismissive responses, falls far short of professional expectations.
I cannot recommend Town Square Media for radio advertising or digital marketing services. Businesses considering their packages should proceed with extreme caution and demand clear, measurable performance metrics and realistic timelines upfront.

I would strongly recommend being very careful before hiring Townsquare Media. My experience with them was extremely disappointing and ended up damaging my online presence instead of helping it.

At first, their sales team and vendors were very friendly and promised great results for my website and Google Business Profile. Unfortunately, the actual service did not match those promises at all.

The website they created felt like a very generic template with low-quality maintenance and very little attention to detail. I also feel that my online reputation and visibility were negatively affected, and now I’m struggling to rebuild my website and online presence to the way it was before.

Communication during the sales process was great, but once everything was set up, the level of support and quality dropped significantly. If you are expecting customized work, strong SEO, or real care for your business branding, that was not my experience.

I’m posting this because I saw the "behind the curtain" reality at Townsquare Interactive, and it’s something every firm using them needs to know. Q4 of 24 The service side was falling apart. Massive people quitting, case managers workloads getting x2 x3 overnight.

I witnessed widespread fraudulent activity within the service teams. Specifically, tasks were being marked as "complete" with a single click despite no work actually being done. These client requests essentially disappeared into a void, never to be addressed.

Yes their price is competitively cheap, but cheap means hard to navigate, hard to find what your looking for.

Townsquare called me and informed me the phone number on my website and directories didn't work. They said the could have the number removed from the directories before they had a new website built. Website went live a week later. It had my company number not a tracking number. They failed to remove it from the directories for three more months. I called them numerous times in that 3 month period before they finally fixed the number and credited me 3 months of service. That number is still on some directories and I can't get it removed. The only company worse than them is Surefire local, they're the company that issued the non-working tracking number.

People need to have perspective.

Townsquare charges $300-$500/month for their services while most companies in this space charge significantly more just to build a website. Townsquare is the best out there for the price. No question or anyway around it.

This company really promised us that they will give me a lot of clients but they did not and they charged a high price. They also promised money back if the website didn’t work and I haven’t got a lot of clients and I have paid 400$ each month. When I told them about I’m not receiving clients they did not give me my money back , they are very good to convince their clients to pay saying that they will give you a disability in google page whatever they have is not true. Lastly I do not recommend this company and please do not let them fool you.

Not a real business they only work until noon. I would not recommend this company to anyone because if there are any issues you will never be able to get someone on the phone.

I probably should have come here first and read the reviews before I gave these people $1,500. These people claim they could make a difference for my business. They haven't got me one freaking phone call!! Not one!! How these people remain in businesses beyond me... stealing people's money I guess! And then they sit there on the other end of the phone justifying why I should pay them $500 a month! They said I would come up first on Google in a month! Then they said it would take a couple of months! Then they said it would take 3 months or better! And then the last time I talked to them after I paid for the third month they said it would take up to six months! worthless!

Worse experience with marketing company:
ZERO communication but very punctual payment withdrawal.
Nothing but lies: nothing they build for you is yours, nothing belongs to you. They sent me a zip folder with files so I can build my own website and refuse to transfer my website to my hosting platform.
They also tried to sell me on a yearly fee for hosting my website, and tried to sell me my own website for $149.00 a month.
They throw the ball at each other, no one knows what you are talking about.

I would strongly advise not doing business with Town Square. Full disclosure I was with them for several years. The quality of their work was sub-par at best, but I take full accountability for letting this relationship drag out as long as I did. That being said, the deciding factor for me going with them in the first place was they assured me if I ever stopped services with them I would still own all of my content. Well tens of thousand of dollars later I have decided to end their services and they are keeping all of my content and will not allow me to transfer it back! Great way to show appreciation for all that money I paid them...

I’m a small business owner in Florida, I gave this company a chance and strongly regret it!
Onboarding was great and seemed promising…
They will provide a mediocre website and charge you hundreds of dollars monthly to „optimize your visibility“ on google.
They could not even get my company name right and did not fix it for months.
When contacting them to get it straightened out and a new website build with the right name and domain, they cancelled my service without notifying me. I happen to notice that the website was removed after a few weeks.
Total rip off, incompetent marketing and management team, overpriced for minimum effort marketing that in 8 months did not provide any benefits, leads or productivity for my business.
Save your money!!

Very bad and realy rude people! Glad I did not hire them! Jake Friedman was very unprofessional when I asked to give me a day to think about it. I had to block his number in order to stop the inappropriate texting!
