They had my Google page shut down and blamed Google for their mistake.

Town square make it seem like they do big things for people when you just starting a business I talked to multiple different people at this location and I let them know that I already had domain website basically I had everything already done prior to another company doing everything for me and I talked to someone by the name of Chris that I talk to I let him know that I had my own everything and he was saying something about my Google been look right and distant this and that so I said what can you do to make the Google page look better and he assured me how everything was going to look but it wasn't it was even worse so with that being said this company charged me $299 for something I already had done I just needed someone to host my business that all I didn't know that this company didn't work with the company who I was already have all my business through that business closed down so I needed to find someone else soon as possible for my glorias kitchen and I was not aware of the company redoing everything over and charging me for stuff that I already had people please do your research before you get screwed like I did because this company show stuck it to me and my bank wouldn't even disputed $300 gone to waste when I already had everything up and running all I needed was someone to host my business I didn't need another website I didn't need another domain I didn't need another menu I didn't need a lot of things because I already had everything done and this company we did everything and charged me $299 when I didn't need whatever the hell they did so I got played out of this company and my bank so please don't do like I have done because I'm a first time restaurant owner and I was looking for help and this company took advantage of me really bad because I didn't know what I was doing and I didn't know where to start but I told them I had my own everything the company just went out of business and they told me they don't work what other companies when July 2025 and then they had to nerve to try to take out another payment of $299 I'm glad I closed out the account completely cuz I was screw over by them and our screw over by my bank

I bought their package that I guess was customized for me and my needs for my business. it was like $350 a month. I had an active website already but was persuaded into buying their services that would get me more views on google which would include going into my website and changing keys words so google can find me easier. I gave them the credentials to my website and they had a hard time changing anything because my website was coded and they needed help getting more access to change things. I connected them to web designer and they failed to get in contact with him. Once they did get in contact, they realized they didn't know how to do anything or change anything because of whatever reason. Months go by and I'm still paying for them to "try" and nothing was ever completed. They continued to charge me while nothing was being done. Dont work with them, they also never answer the phone and you would always need an appointment to speak to them. The only appointments available were 2 weeks out and I needed customer service immediately. Anyway, I wasted my money on them. They did nothing for me and I maybe spent 5 months worth of their services, you do the math. The suck

Worst waste of money. $700 a month for 4 months and not a single call. Then they Harassed me for months trying to get another $400 out of me after I cancelled their services. I refused to pay and they took control of my business name, made it near impossible to find out who owned my .com, got my email cut off for months, total shlt show trying to get it straightened out. Don't waste your time or money!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! i had a conversation with them. agreed to their service and paid them $700.
the very same day i read reviews and there are a lot of negative reviews. I called and cancelled the next day. Never started the service. They never did anything for me. Except steal my money. They refused to give it back even knowing they had done nothing on my account. They lady yelled at me and demanded i stay with them. Look save yourself a headache and dont talk to them

this company will hijack your web site. They don't do what they say they will do and harass you because you want to cancel. Stay way from this company PERIOD because if you don't you will be sorry

Townsquare has begun using AI to write content for their clients sites. The money you’re spending to pay for someone to write tailored content? Not happening. Do not recommend.

I have worked with several digital marketing agencies and these guys are by far the worst.
Liars, thieves and willing to do anything for profit.

I told them I was canceling. They held my domain hostage and kept trying to retain me rather than send my transfer code. Now they transferred it to a new domain registrar without my consent. This locked my domain for an additional 60 days and my business is screwed right during busy season.

You guys know exactly what you did. Scumbag retention tactics to squeeze a few dollars. You will get exposed more and more with time.

Run from this company!!!! Unfortunately, I did not look at reviews before signing up to have my website remade. If you get deceived into working with this company prepare to be passed from person to person with no real work being done. The website was slapped together and passed off to next person as fast as possible. It was just a carbon copy of what I already had. Then add plenty of grammar issues and misspelled words.
Townsquare Interactive is a massive scam and fraud. Once I called to cancel, they immediately billed for the next month and claimed that they cannot refund it. They do not provide any real services, they just take your money and tell you that they are "working on your account" when they are actually doing nothing at all except for billing you each month.

Hire someone to build you website these people love you just like every company until you get tired of no results but paying a car note every month for misspelled words and incomplete paragraphs and sentences. I wish I went with the smaller company they promised me free updates and all. But I was going with the more reputable company. I never spoke to the original salesman again after I was promised to deal specifically with him. It's been a nightmare and I'm not the give up type but at some point you have to cut ties!!! Trust me pay someone cash or whatever to build you a website. This isn't where its at!!! If your spending big money then you matter obviously!!

So far, so good. Prompt in the first month and on time with expectations. I keep you posted as we go along.

This company is like many others on the web. Totally lied and actually caused my google business page to be needing Verification second time. I called was promised they could correct things but absolutely just took my money again!

If I could give 0 stars trust I would. This company is very unprofessional. I prepared the a very detailed list of all the the information they would need to prepare my website. They promised me my website would be live in 10-14 days, they did not meet that commitment. We are now over 30 days of them "working" on my site and it has still not yet gone live. The rough draft they sent me to review had none of the information I prepared for them on it, it is as if they never even read the notes I prepared for them. The only communication I have recieved from this company is a bunch of automated spam emails. If you are reading this review i strongly recommend you keep searching for a more reputible company.

My company wanted local targeted ads. That's all. We have our own customer portal, website, everything already. We got upsold web development and it came with their garbage portal as a package. Didn't want it but whatever. I tell them I like my site as it is but if they can improve it there were two minor changes they could do. I tell them the changes: Make my listed services all plural, and add one slogan on the splash page. That's all. This is child's play text work for web, like 10 minutes of work. Two months go by $800 and they sent one website "update" where none of my changes were done but instead they used some garbage template and changed my site removing most pertinent information about the business and didn't do the two minor changes I asked for. I said "this is all wrong" so they sent another template that was even worse that reversed all the colors making my logo unreadable. Finally I said to forget the web work due to the inability to do anything right. I can't use anything and they aren't listening to my simple requests, but at least we have been doing local targeted ads, right? WRONG. THEY NEVER RAN THE ADS. Charged me $800 for this and refuse to give out a refund. I'm going to have to take legal action to get my money back as they are still claiming they provided services! What services exactly???? RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. Google got me but they are obviously PAYING for 5 star reviews.

I'm not sure what happened to this company, but they're the worst now! They don't handle changes in a timely manor (if at all) They seem to concentrate on their own webpage quite well, but do NOT maintain or improve their customers pages. We pay a lot for this service, and are actively looking for a new one to replace Townsquare as soon as possible.

I completely agree with the other reviews. My experience was exactly the same. Our web standing dropped continually. Tasks were half done if at all. Then when I cancelled service my website disappeared completely even though we had an established website before. I would definitely recommend you look elsewhere for your web service.

BYER BE WARE!!! Snakes!! I have been with them for over 2 years. They made changes to my website over a year ago and did not have google index the changes causing my listing to fall way behind. When I finally caught it they were slow to respond. No real skin off their back they just blamed Google for the issue. Lies all lies. I don't believe a word that they say. There have been so many other issues but not worth the rant. Trust me I have been through it with them. My listing is still not where it should be and we are loosing traffic to our site every day. They say my listing is doing great....um....no it is not. Poor customer service. They cost me thousands in lost business. It takes them a long time to respond. I have been trying to cancel for days and the keep calling me to try to get me to stay. I keep telling them that I no longer want to do business with them. I am sure they will reply to this review with some standard AI generated response. Please regardless of how they choose to respond to my post...look for another company. Don't flush your money down the toilet with them. They are no a good company to work with at all.

This is the most unorganized company you can have help you with your business websites!
You ask for edits/updates things are half done.
They don’t take the time to assist you with completing your request. I’m currently looking for another company! You should too! I don’t recommend

Merely One In Many Of Their Ways To FOOL EVERYONE... They use employee ratings to get the percentages on their behalf. Observe every possible review base on line and feed the detail back to where it started as with their Employee's Ratings. Obviously, The Said Employee's want their employer to make money in order to pay them for more than merely living expenses...

Open your eyes now folks, Reality has been here for my entire life and I hope that you realize the same for you and your family. I was speaking with a fellow while going downtown in our Nation's Capital and he spoke strongly about TownSquare Interactive and with my stupidity I merely took his opinion as if it were etched in marble on The Lincoln Memorial... It Was My Fault In The Fact That I Automatically Trusted TSI. Tough Shoot Ignorant is my name now...

I phoned them up and spoke with seven differently individuals where as when I look back I should have hit myself with the so called brick then. They, now I realize had a 'little bit' more than I when it comes to Website expertise. My Observations after more than $3000 dollars and only two customers... respectfully I told them where to go and canceled the contract in April, a few days before the new billing cycle. I got no bill for May... CAN YOU GUESS WHAT TO PLACE IN JUNE¿? I GOT ANOTHER BILL... HHhhmmmm

Financial Actions were taken, meaning that the company credit card service was called and blocked TSI. Legal Actions are the next step to be taken. It is clear that they have misrepresented their firm to me, as well as how it is clearly perceived as advertisement in Public Domain. Of course, this is My Opinion... Let everyone else think about it...
