DO NOT USE THEM If your life depends on it. They are the worst. Anything that breaks after 24 hours is on you. The fridge the AC the windows the door that doesn’t close. Anything. They didn’t refund me by charging crazy interest and penalty on the last electric bill that doesn’t get to me after I left. They said it would be deducted but didn’t tell me they claimed I was late to pay? How could I pay if I was gone. They charged 2% per day and a huge fine. They deducted it from the deposit and so I get half of my deposit. It’s maddening and no one to complain to.

Deposit thievin goblins

Wouldnt give my deposit back even though i checked beforehand before checkout if they would ,they said yes do not use this site its a borderline a scam

Even the room was bad came in fridge was broken requested repairs 5 different times they said we will let you know but then they wouldnt do shit about it theyd just say the same thing ignoring the issue.

SUPER BAD SERVICE

I'm writing from Indonesia. This company has a SUPER BAD SERVICE. Bad smell from the stove is all over the room. Many furnitures are broken: cupboard door can't slide, main lamp can't be turned on, bed's spring's broken (can slide down if you lie on the edge of the bed), the clothesline is rusty etc. Dust & hairs are still everywhere when checked in. They only give 1 accesscard. I complained & the staff recleaned the room but the smell won't go away. For the broken furnitures, they just took off the door & lamp. This delayed my check in for 7 hours. No compensation at all.

Shitty service

They do nothing. Door lock didn't look let me wait 24 till I fix it by my self.

Hole company is a joke and don't help renters only my live harder

Extremely poor customer service..

Extremely poor customer service... Still fighting with them to get my security deposit (in excess of USD500) and they are keep on finding one after other unreasonable request and proofs for me to produce to get is back... Extremely disappointed with entire experience... Every time I try to contact customer service I encounter some new person and I have to reinvent the wheel and explain everything and then they go back and gone forever - you go through that endless cycle without ever resolving your issue...

Stay away from this provider...!

Run away!

Run away!

The apartment was very poorly maintained and the cleanliness was absolutely awful. There were cockroaches in every room, which made the stay extremely unpleasant.

We even had to complain multiple times just to get the sofa and chairs cleaned, because they were so dirty they were basically unusable.

The air conditioners were clearly not serviced, and the air coming out was dusty and unhealthy.

On top of that, dealing with customer service was a nightmare. We had to fight with them for hours just to get our deposit back, while they kept asking for the same information again and again to delay the refund as much as possible.

Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this service.

Don't choose travelio

From the beginning we started to experience difficulty with the booking about the deposit, didn't care that we already paid for the apartment, told me that I need to create another app wallet to pay for the deposit, sorted out the payment in the end. Came to the apartment, at first sight some things were off, but after more examination the apartment doesn't fit the description
1. No hot water in the shower
2.kitchenware is unusable (burned, and melted plastic on the spatulas, frying pans have stains, and burn marks
3. When you enter the shower you smell black mold growing in the corners, and overall foul humidity
4. Rice cooker rusted, and burned
5. Yellow stains on the towels
6. Fridge isn't a fridge, it's a full freezer, everything we put inside it froze overnight
7. The bed has a bad odor
8. The second you pay for the place you can forget about any refund if problems arise
9. You won't get your deposit back

During check out it took me an hour to talk to support for staff to come check the apartment, staff avoided confirming in writing that everything with the apartment is same when asking directly, lastly when asking to confirm about the deposit, the staff wanted to check email confirmation on my phone, during checking he opened the review tab, and put 5 stars on everything, which I would have never done.

In conclusion, if you're visiting Jakarta, DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELIO or any booking that mentions travelio, do not choose apartments because it's not going to be same as in the photos, better to choose a hotel, and pay extra

I would like to share my experience…

I would like to share my experience with Travelio and warn people for possible issues. I am a Dutch student that went on study exchange to Indonesia, I booked a place via Travelio for 5 months. I paid 4 million rupiah per month for a 22m2 room in Surabaya. Which is a lot for indonesian standards. The photos looked good and the room looked clean and comfortable. However this was not the case unfortunately. When I arrived in the room I immediately left for a week holiday to Thailand so I just used it for a week to store my stuff and didn’t really look at the room. When I came back from Thailand I really started living there and noticing all the issues with my room. There was mold everywhere, the room was extremely dirty, the bed sheets had dirt in them, there was no hot water, there were insects everywhere, the furniture was broken in many places. This place was awful. Then I contacted Travelio, they were extremely hard to communicate with. The responses of them took very long between texts sometimes lasting multiple days. I told them all the issues with the room and send them photos with proof. They told me I had to report this issues within 48 hours of arrival. But I didn’t live there for the first week of arrival. From this point on I had multiple months of discussing with them, constant conversations and it leaded nowhere because they just send automated messages. This company has ruined my comfort in feeling home in a foreign city. They charged me for many things I cannot even explain, in the end they charged me 25 euro or 500k rupiah for a missing ice cube tray that was never there in the first place. Must’ve been a very special ice cube tray. I told them many times I wanted to book a different room but they told me if I didn’t pay for the full 5 months they would keep my deposit. I would recommend everyone to avoid this company at all costs, this was the worst experience I have had in my years of traveling and engaging with many different accommodation companies. DONT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY.

TRAVELIO EXPLOIT WORKERS
DO NOT do business with TRAVELIO. They have terrible reviews anyway. Use Traveloka or something similar instead.
Even by the standards of Indonesia, TRAVELIO employees earn pitiful salaries and have horrible working conditions. 10 hour days for as little as 3USD/5AUD/50.000IDR per day. No allowance for food, travel, etc. must supply own equipment. Employees are literally losing money by working here, it's humiliating and inhumane.

To get this terrible, exploitative job you must also go through a long and expensive process of multiple interviews, medical check-up (at applicant's expense) and project assignments - free work for the company.

These wages are for university graduate employees in offices - so what conditions are their "unskilled" workers under?

I would give MINUS STARS if I could

I would give MINUS STARS if I could, and here's why I had a terrible experience with Travelio.

Initially, I booked an apartment through Booking.com, only to find out that my reservation was transferred to Travelio.com. The entire process was complicated from the start. Upon checking in, I discovered that the room was completely different from what I had booked, which was very disappointing. To make matters worse, there was no internet and no drinking water provided.

When I tried to reach customer service for assistance, I was unable to get through. To add to my frustration, at 8:30 PM, the bellboy knocked on my door and informed me that I had to move because someone else would be renting the room for a month. This was incredibly upsetting.I was tired and just wanted to sleep, so I firmly told him I would move in the morning and closed the door. Shortly after, customer service sent me a message insisting that I move immediately.

The next morning, I left the key on the table and requested a full refund, stating that I didn't want to deal with Travelio anymore. Thankfully, Booking.com processed my refund. This entire experience felt like a nightmare and a significant challenge.

Welldone Travelio

I booked a unit at Transpark Cibubur through Travelio last November. The check-in process was smooth and very easy, and the roomboy who assisted me was friendly and helpful. The unit was nice, all facilities were functioning properly, and when i was check-out, the deposit was refunded on the same day.
