Wat een slechte kwaliteit. Plastic smelt eraf (handvaten) Zadel tien keer niks. Trappen erg lastig. Beter had ik Gazelle gekocht.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Completely unethical and on the verge of—or beyond—the law. It’s rare to encounter such repulsive, reprehensible, and contemptuous behavior. It’s surprising that no one has addressed this long ago. I regret every penny I’ve spent on this company’s bikes in the past.

I had a Trek 1.2 for 15 years with which I was very happy. On the strength of this, I bought a matte black Domane AL 5. Within four months, the paint began to flake off in small and larger spots. Photos were sent to the HQ by the local Trek shop. They said it was impact damage. I had not mishandled the bike and had not experienced this problem with my previous Trek bike, using it for similar rides and parking. They gave me some touch up paint and some credit to spend in the shop. The guys in the shop were very helpful (and surprised at the HQ response as they expected a replacement or resprayed frame) - hence some stars. I can only assume that Trek quality has plummeted. I would not recommend getting a matte black Trek. I cannot vouch for other colours.

Het gaat speciaal over de magnesium verende voorvork van het merk Bontrager op een Trek fiets.
De vork ging gemakkelijk stuk bij een lichte botsing waarbij de schalmen om de wielas afbrak.
Bij het ombouwen van een andere Bontrager vork ben ik vanalles tegen gekomen maar niet veel goeds, ze kennen daar blijkbaar alleen inbus bouten die toegepast worden op plekken waar je geen slag hebt.
Verder zijn de lamp units lachwekkend fragiel ook de electrische bedrading is zwak iets wat je toepast in een laptop maar niet hier. Kortom een dure vork maar geen kwaliteit en met tal van technische/constructie fouten inefficient ook bij productie, kan veel beter.

Goede elektrische fiets gekocht, zorg dat de bandjes enzo goed opgepompt zijn en je kan lekker lange afstanden fietsen. Geen mankementen gehad. Service is ook goed.

Supporto ridicolo! Ho una MTB del 2015 con un problema alla sospensione. Essendo fuori produzione ho chiesto se fosse disponibile un prodotto compatibile, la risposta è stata, parafrasando, di buttare la bicicletta.

I bought a Trek FX 2+ e bike 2.5 yrs ago. Had problems from the git go, but factory assured me they would stand behind it. Now after 3 rear hub replacements and broken spokes multiple times, the shop mgr. won’t return calls, and so far the factory hasn’t returned my call. In the past however the factory cust. Svc. folks have been responsive. But now I am requesting a refund and have not heard back. 3.15-26 Update: Trek factory warranty got back to me w/in 24 hrs of my submitting a BBB complaint. They have resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction!

Wenn man XT Ausstattung bestellt, bekommt man noch lange keine XT Ausstattung. Anstelle der XT Kassette M8100 wurde eine billige M6100 verbaut und anstelle von XT Kurbeln waren billige Drittanbieter Kurbeln verbaut. Auf Nachfrage wird mitgeteilt, dass man sich das Recht herausnimmt, vergleichbare Komponenten zu verbauen. Vergleichbar bedeutet anscheinen Halbpreisig.

Sent five emails to Trek Shrewsbury. Then made Four telephone calls, three with no reply and one when I believe the manager answered. He promised to recheck for my emails and if couldn’t see them, one of his team would call.Three weeks later no call!!

Purchased a Verve hybrid trek bike on 3/1/22. Brakes started leaking fluid after 3 years, to the point where the brakes did not work. I had to replace both brakes with
Shimano brakes. I was told by the bike shop where I had my brakes replaced it was a known issue with Trek bikes. The brakes they had on those bikes were defective.
Tried to get some compensation from Trek, but was told only 2 year warranty on parts. This bike was ridden maybe 100 miles in total. VERY UNHAPPY with TREK. I will never buy another bike from them

Spent 3,000.00 on an electric bike. Screen went bad. Three weeks later I still don’t have it fixed. Called the dealer. Said ai just need to be patient. I really liked the bike but will not upgrade or buy another one for my wife. Unfortunate. Trek needs to do better.

Fiets nauwelijks 3 jaar oud.
Inmiddels bijna meer besteed aan vervanging onderdelen dan aan aanschaf. Intensief gebruikt. Dat wel. Maar ook altijd goed mee omgegaan. Leverancier gaf aan dat er alleen garantie zat op materiaal en niet op de betreffende arbeid. Nooit meer een Trek en nooit meer de fietsenwinkel waar ik die gekocht heb.

Ik heb een Mtb uit het jaar 2022 en heb een onderdeel (cartridge) van een dropper dat aan vervanging toe is volgens de informatie van Trek. Dit is echter nergens te verkrijgen en Trek zelf geeft aan dat die door de "leverancier" niet meer gemaakt wordt. Dit voor een fiets van 3 jaar!!!
Ze geven aan dat ik maar een complete nieuwe unit moet bestellen, die 5x zoveel kost?!?! Geen enkel aanbod om een gedeelte te compenseren of zo...
Op een aanvullende vraag voor een alternatieve oplossing wordt niet eens gereageerd op mail. Schandalig bedrijf.

It is heartbreaking for me to write this, but my faith in Trek has been deeply shattered. I have literally toured around the lower United States and spent $1,000s on my bicycle, upgrades, gear, and service. During this self-supported tour I upgraded my stock aluminum wheels to carbon; a purchase of slightly more than $1,000. These wheels are guaranteed under Trek’s warranty program, but after the rear wheel axle suffered a failure, I have to wait at least a month for a replacement. What really saddens me is that Trek is not working hard to get me back on my bike while I wait for my new rear wheel; perhaps pull a compatible wheel off a store bike so I can get back on the road.

I am now forced to seriously consider another bicycle manufacturer for my next tour, which will be through Europe.

…I am so very sad.

Very disappointing experience.
I ordered four items costing over $500, which took nearly three weeks to arrive—well past the two-week timeframe I needed them for a cycling event. When the package finally arrived, only two of the four items were included. I had to source the missing equipment elsewhere at additional cost. Despite contacting customer service multiple times by phone and email, I’ve still not received a refund for the missing items after more than two weeks. Poor communication, slow service, and incorrect order fulfillment — I do not recommend buying from this company.

I have owned this bike for two years and the screws are already rusted so I decided to trade it in towards a new one they offered me $50 for my Trek … you would think they
Would give a better offer since you paid a lot of Money for a new one.. the salesperson had know personally what a waste of time …

Een lekke band is nooit leuk. Maar mijn bezoek aan trek maakte een hoop goed. Geen “Trek” fiets, maar ze konden mijn band wel vervangen, en wel gelijk! Ik snap dat dit uitzonderlijk is, maar dat was wel heel fijn. Met een kop koffie en kruidnoten kon ik even wachten en werd mijn band vervangen, maar toch mijn grote verbazing werden ook mijn remmen goed gesteld, die stonden ergonomisch niet goed. Werd mijn spatbord vast gezet en werd ook mijn achterband voorzien van de juiste spanning. Dit alles met een heldere uitleg. En het aanbod om mijn fiets in service te nemen. Aangezien ik bij de aankoop van mijn huidige fiets heel veel narigheid heb ervaren en dus ook niet terug ben gegaan naar de betreffende winkel voor een servicebeurt, klonk dit wel heel erg prettig. Een account werd aangemaakt en bij de eerst volgende beurt zal ik hier een afspraak maken. Dank voor de super hulp!!!

After riding a Madone Gen 6 for three years I decided to upgrade to a Madone Gen 8. This bike is seriously fast and feels a lot lighter than the Gen 6. After 3 rides on it I got a puncture, a screw went into the rear tyre. After close inspection the screw had went right through the rim tape and carbon as well ☹️
After phoning Trek they told me to take it to the shop I purchased it from to check if it was repairable or not.
The local bike shop I went to put in a warranty claim and within 5 days I had a new rear wheel free of charge and the bike was back on the road again.
I'd like to thank Trek Bikes for their excellent customer support and to James and the team at Fife Cycles Leuchars Scotland for getting me back on the road so quickly. If you are ever looking for a new or used Trek or parts be sure to visit their website.

Onze TREK e bike is 1 jaar oud en we hebben reeds twee keer problemen gehad met de bagagedrager. De service bij Bike republic is ondermaats. Ze stellen het gewone gebruik in vraag om dit niet onder de garantie te laten vallen. De eerste keer werd het bagagerek er opnieuw aan gesondeerd en enkele maanden later is het opnieuw op dezelfde plaats afgebroken. Koop a.u.b. geen e bike van Trek en ga zeker niet bij Bike republic. Hun doel is om zoveel mogelijk te verkopen zonder service achterna.
