A very easy, value for money and effective process providing information we could not find ourselves.

Adam is a knight in shining armour. If it hadn’t have been for him, we would be absolutely clueless in the probate application process. Thank you so much Adam for what you’ve done.

Very attentive agent

Adam has been extremely helpful, I couldn’t have managed without his help.
I had an initial phone call with Adam a couple of weeks ago and then when completing the applications to register 2 trusts & apply for probate, Adam has answered several questions for me. I have emailed the questions and Adam has replied to my email in no time.
So glad that I came across this company.

They answered all my questions in a clear and easy to understand way and also gave additional information that was helpful. Their offer to me, to come back to them with any further questions, was a nice touch that I didn't expect.

This company were really compassionate which was important when dealing with the financial aspects of a recent death.

Using the company took away, to some extent, the pressure of having to notify relevant institutions of the death of a loved on. However, the search did not pick up on all of the organisations which we knew our loved one had a financial relationship with and so we are still going to have to notify those organisations ourselves.

On reflection it would have been easier to notify the relevant organisations myself as I would have a better idea of exactly what stage everything was at as in some cases other than knowing that they have been notified I've no indication of whether the relevant processes have started or not. Of particular concern was that share holdings of very well known organisations were not picked up by the report.

Some financial institutions wouldn't speak to me as a consequence of using a third party organisation such as Trustestate to notify the death. Trustestate did try to support this conversation as much as they could.

Adam from Trustestate called me at the arranged time, made me feel very relaxed and listened to my queries carefully. I felt he understood my position and made all the legal speak very easy to understand. He was considerate and patient, knowledgeable and didn't rush me. At a very difficult time for me, he explained my responsibilities and duties, my rights and options. Would highly recommend.

I used the services of Trustestate going back a few months ago. From the very start, I found Adam personable, reassuring and very professional. We had several pleasant phone and email exchanges.

The service itself is potentially a very good one as the returned info was pretty detailed. My one disappointment was that the returned info was mostly about liabilities and hardly about any assets.

For an executor, the latter is important and perhaps the key reason for opting for the service as all liabilities has to be repaid somehow. In my case, the search produced no result of assets. Thankfully, through dogged, relentless digging, we located some assets (mainly pensions).

That said, I place that responsibility on the pension companies rather than Trustestate. I dare say that anyone who’s handled probate will very quickly realise that pension companies aren't too keen for assets to be found. Even when you do, they’d make the claim process very difficult.

I've nothing but admiration for Adam given the effort he put into my enquiry. I wish the result was more positive but as I said, that’s not on him.

I recommend Trustestate services unreservedly and will use them again if the need ever arises.
