The smaller sized fender I bought is well made and ideal for placing on the hearth to stop any pieces of wood from the log-burner rolling out and singeing the carpet, as has happened previously.

We recently had a Log burner fitted and were looking for a fire guard and tools online when Black Country Metalworks popped up so we had a look at the products and found just what we were looking for. Ordering online was simple, regular notifications were sent along with delivery details and the price was reasonable. When the goods arrived we were so pleased with the quality of the items we had ordered. Would thoroughly recommend them.

We love our Antique Brass Iron Bridge Shelf Brackets. We bought them to add character to our bathroom shelves, and we’re so pleased with them. We did have to use our own screws as the notches weren’t deep enough on those supplied. Delivery and communications were fine, no issues. We would definitely buy from this company again!

The delivery was on time and really well packed.
The coal scuttle is exactly as described, very well made and the handle is strongly rivetted.
At the same time it is lighter than my previous one which is ideal as I am now in my mid seventies!
I am sure I will get many years of good service from it.
