Not very good communications. The product seems fine but it was a little muddled in regard to the refundable deposit. Postage was not the quickest.

Super fast service will use again

I paid a £450 refundable deposit to Turbo Diesel London Limited when purchasing a turbo.
I returned the old unit on 9 December, and on 11 December the company confirmed by email that it had been received and that the deposit would be refunded the following week.
After the refund did not arrive, I followed up by email. I was later informed that the business had been closed over the Christmas period and was asked to provide my order number, which I did immediately.
Despite providing all requested information, the deposit has still not been refunded at the time of writing.
In addition, the turbo was advertised as brand new, however the unit I received appeared to be refurbished rather than new.
Due to the ongoing delay, lack of communication, and failure to refund a confirmed refundable deposit, this has been a very disappointing experience.

Quick answer to my question

Sent a faulty turbo that hadn't been reconditioned correctly

garage fitted it and no boost was achieved when the garage took the car out for a test drive

so they needed to remove the turbo get it reconditioned correctly and fitted again all at my expense

turbo diesel London wanted nothing to do with it and refused me a refund

currently going through a claim with my bank to try and get some money back

Good service parts sent out sameday and received next day great company to do business with.

i got a turbo and actuator both worked well
sent my old one back didn't get my deposit back or explanation cant log in now says me email address is not in the system worked last week when i asked for my deposit back

Ive returned an injector over a week ago now and yet no refund or even acknowledgment of my emails to you guys absolutely awful customer service especially with the time of year aswell this is not good at all

I have posted already my experience of this company .
I was lied to , still months almost a year later and no reply’s no receipt of sent back turbo ( tracked)
My court case I had struck because I missed a time frame ( my fault)
Life’s difficult my car is to get my disabled

Costs I had to pay because I tried to save money and purchase a turbo from them
I would imagine from my and others experience , were in a majority not
As trust pilot reviews reflect a minority and nothing in the middle reviews much which shows inaccurate review data.
I will and do have time to continue in my court proceedings as I already have case number but it got expensive because my claim was bigger than just the turbo If you want to retrieve your money back on there supplied faulty turbos ,you won’t get normal decent fair adhering to consumer law Responses you won’t get answers Only lies and tricks, normal decency in relation to customers so expect to be ripped of , don’t waste your time in the first instance ( let’s see what great story he spins on a reply here , there very active
In maintaining the deceit it’s given them money over the years .
It’s simple look on . Gov for claims .

Dishonesty and deceit is there MO.
I’m 62 so have had time to meet a few.
I have had around 5 moneyclaims
Including Apple , John Lewis , private builders and won them all I wasn't hiding
Truth facts trust treated as in this instance
Ripped of outright
As a consumer of goods
You have strong laws to protect you from
The likes of these grabbers
Take action stand up against the rot .

Says next day delivery and still mot arrived at 7pm at night. Photo on dpd website is someone else's house in a housing estate.. we live on a farm.. it finally arrived the following day and the turbo has no covers to protect it and there is no fitting kit.. ive tried calling multiple times and the answering machine is full and now the website says closed till 5th jan.. so I now have a turbo I can't fit and no car over Christmas and New Year While I appreciate dpd isn't turbo diesels fault it's worth mentioning but the lack of fitting kit now means I have no car over christmas and the new year..

Ordered turbo for vehicle. Wrong turbo arrived. Contacted Turbo Diesel and returned unit. Gave them correct part number for turbo and waited. After 2 weeks of pressing turbo arrived but exactly the same wrong turbo as before. After multiple emails and messages I’m assured the correct turbo is being sent. Another 2 weeks still no turbo. We have had lies about being delivered by someone one day and lies saying it was personally being delivered the next.
Shame for them is we probably purchase at least 6 turbos a month and will not be using them again.
Avoid at all costs. If you require turbos I can suggest various other companies we use who provide a quality service at reasonable costs.

All good apart from putting wrong house number down delayed delivery by 3 days. Mistakes happen. All good now.

Adrian was brilliant, he worked with me well and gave me all the information I needed.
Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong turbo. I got it returned and the refund and deposit was refunded in due time and course.

Part arrived quickly and was the same part number as the one I took off. Looked shiny and new and accessories fitted.

Fast delivery and great parts. Communication great very helpful and willing to answer questions. Would highly recommend

Ordered a VW Amarok 2.0 Bi-turbo, which in fairness came as described. However after a few months the turbo failed.

Turbo Diesel requested I send it back as it was under ‘warranty’ so that they can assess the turbo to make sure it wasn’t an installation error. They said that they would send me a repaired/new turbo if the problem was on their end. I sent them the full turbo back with all parts attached to the manifold (including actuator, hard pipes etc). They inspected it and confirmed they would send a new turbo out, however when I received the ‘new turbo’ I only received the bare turbos. All of the other parts which I sent off were missing so I couldn’t use the car at all.

They agreed that the remaining parts had been sent and provided a tracking number. The tracking number was to an address in London (we live in the North) and was already marked as delivered so it was clearly from another order.

After ringing them non stop for days, they only picked up the phone because I spammed there phone line with calls. Just like the other reviews them parts had been ‘lost in the post’ so they would re-send. Guess what…

They never did.

For context, this happened in May 2025 and we are now in November 2025 with no resolution and no communication.

Total scam and considering taking it further if I don’t get a refund or a new turbo soon.

Avoid! Adrian Holda give me my money back.

It won’t let me reply to turbo diesel’s reply, however he said I sent the turbo as a whole unit which I shouldn’t of done, however I’ve just re-read the email chain and he specifically says to send the turbo as a whole unit, as for tracking number, yes you sent me one which was not for my order and I told you this on WhatsApp, then you came back to me, changed your story and said ‘sorry is hasn’t been sent yet, we’re preparing it now’ and guess what I’m still waiting …

You're next day delivery definitely not true if I would of have known it would of just ordered from somewhere else
