Great, efficient customer service
I rang ucan on the Monday they asked me which car I wanted. They said we should have 2 cars for you to see, so we went on Saturday instead of 2 there was 3 cars to choose from we were spoilt for choice! But the one we got was a SEAT LEON BLUE really beautiful went for a test drive and credit went through straight away,car was delivered to us on the following Monday! Quick service efficient and good sales people. Omar and Reiss did the paperwork. So do highly recommend them! Were going again for a second car!

**Please Read I can save you a lot of stress & outgoing finance**
I purchased a car on finance from UCAN in 2022. First couple of months the car kept cutting out when driving. Had to challenge this matter via both the finance co & UCAN to get this issue resolved.
Then I had the car at approx just over 2 years & the car was well & truly knackered ! Cost me £1,750 for a new oil pump, water coolant & cam belt change. Which I couldnât drive my car for approx 8/10 weeks.
Then the DPF filter needed a full clean & a regen required - another £450. And to date the car is in the garage as there is an issue with the emissions & is costing me by each âeliminationâ job to resolve this emission issue.
Please, Please, please, I beg you whoever reads this ⊠please take my advice / experience do not deal with UCAN.
And Iâm not being disrespectful posting this towards UCAN Iâm just being genuine & honest. From the 2.5 years Iâve had the car Iâve used it for like 2 years in total.
Donât make the mistake I have, I do not want anyone go through the stress I have ! Iâve been paying & still paying to date each month for a car I couldnât / canât use ⊠!!
**I add this explanation 27/01/25 in reply to the recent post by UCAN to my updated post**
UCAN explain i was happy to use their service until December 2024. This is totally incorrect. UCAN actually contacted me (evidence with phone calls etc available), I did not contact them.
After 2 years UCAN will contact you with new deals etc as they want you to carry on making further finance payments after the 2.5 year agreement stage. This basically, enables UCAN staff commission.
And you can clearly see UCAN are putting the blame towards me by explaining âit is your fault you have not maintained your carâ? Is this the way to highlight details publicly? How do they know I have or havenât maintained the car ? & UCAN then further outline personal details about me missing payments & I canât get further finance etc? Is that necessary to make such untrue details towards a customer publicly ?
However, I do have invoices as evidence for payments regarding work that has been carried out on the car, MOTâs, services etc. Also I have emails as evidence which offers me car finance.
So for UCAN to try & publicly outline that I have not been maintaining the car & I canât get finance arranged is absurd ! As you can clearly see with their reply to my original post UCAN obviously push any issues back on to the customer.
As you can also see in my original post I have not been directly disrespectful towards UCAN I have just explained my situation & given my opinion on dealing with a car from UCAN & if Iâm wrong for being honest then so be it.
However, anyone reading this & possibly purchasing a car from UCAN please seek thorough advice & take a mechanic with you to thoroughly check any car over.
Iâm only looking out for customers with the post as I donât want anyone to experience my experience. This is nothing to do with âmy responsibilitiesâ according to UCAN. This is about not being able use something that you are paying out for within the agreement period (5 years). And I do not want any further customers to experience my experience.

We are disappointed by this review Martin. You were happy to still try and use our services as recent as December 2024. However your failure to maintain your car cosmetically and mechanically has left you in a position whereby your car isnât worth what you owe to the finance company. Your failure to keep up repayments on your existing finance has also compounded this and has made it impossible for us to help you get a new car finance agreement and settle your existing one. It appears this review is inaccurate and misleading to other customers and that your intention is to tarnish our reputation. Your actions have led to your inability to secure any suitable finance agreement and this is your responsibility not ours.

Avoid at all costs
Terrible place, bought a car from the Wigan branch which broke down after less than an hour! Then cut out on the motorway the next day, took it back and the manager there was very unhelpful and rude, said he didnât see it so nothing wrong with the car! Agreed to wind back the deal but leave me no car and out of pocket by over £700 donât believe their warranty inspections as the fault was engine oil sensor damage. Will be taking them to court! Bad customer service. Also they used my bank card to make an online purchase !!
