Firstly I have no issue with the product, they are decent hats BUT the company’s business practice and customer service is appalling. I ordered 2 hats and in doing so qualified for some “free” gifts (which appeared on the invoice priced at £0.00). Unfortunately the online sizing guide is not great and one of the hats did not fit. For some unknown reason Tilley does not allow exchanges so I had to return the ill fitting hat and order another one in a size bigger. At this point Tilley had payment for 3 hats while I waited for my refund, not a problem so I thought. However, when the refund came through I had been deducted £34 and on querying this I was told it was because I no longer qualified for the “free” gifts (as I’d returned one of the hats on the original order) and as I’d not returned the “free” gifts I was being charged £34 for them. So I’ve now got 2 hats but apparently not entitled to the “free” gifts purely because exchanges are not allowed. Very poor practice and unbelievably poor customer service. I will never order from this company again

Fast delivery. Easy to find what i wanted on the site. My order was well packaged and the hat was in perfect condition. Beautiful hat by the way, and hubby loves it!

I ordered a Tilley hat. I received confirmation of order and money was pending in my account. I did not receive a delivery time or that the order had been dispatched. I waited 2weeks.
I ordered again the exact same hat and the following day I received a dispatch order for the original hat and the pending money order reappeared.
I was easily able to cancel the second order and received full payment.

Good quality hat, just what I wanted to shade the back of my neck from the sun. Not too flimsy and not too heavy, about right for me and it should stay on pretty well. The only thing slightly letting it down is the arrangement for tightening the fit which is a bit limited and a bit clumsy but these are minor points and so five stars. Good delivery also.

The quality of the hat is great to match the online buying experience.

Had been hunting for a packable waterproof rain coat for a while, happened upon the Tilley Rain Poncho and it's reviews were all positive. The range of colours it comes in are subtle and understated, yet stylish. Ordered the M in two colours, chose the light tan. It's an oversize fit but doesn't drown me, I'm a petite 5' 3". The unusual detailing of the front pockets is not to everyone's taste though works for me, as do the press stud side openings, allowing for ease of access to things in pockets in your skirt or trousers. Prompt delivery, seamless return and refund process of the second item. Not yet had a chance to get it wet, so unable to comment on keeping you dry capability

The hat was exactly like it was on line and fitted well

The first hat I ordered was too small. I sent it back, you reimbursed me promptly , which was brilliant. The second hat I ordered is just perfect. The only thing that could have made my experience better would have been to exchange hats, but it wasn't really a problem. The quality is first rate. Delivery was by post which is always my preferred option.

I love Tilley hats, they suit everybody, no one looks bad in one. They are fantastic quality and easy to keep clean and smart.

I ordered a tilley sun hat on line about 7 days before going on holiday to Peru. I contacted the customer service department asking if there was any chance the delivery might be expedited. I received a very prompt friendly response and my hat was delivered in three days.
My hat is perfect and of excellent quality and I am wearing it every day in Peru!

The caps are expensive, but well -made & because I have always worn them

Bought two wanders hats 10 years ago after 10 years, of been wore most days knackered.Went to shop where I bought them out of stock,so bought 2 hats not tilleys hated them.So went on line bought 2 wanders hats.Happy me.

Bought allweather hat for my husband. We checked head-size before purchasing. It arrived promptly. He is very happy with it.

I find it difficult to find a hat in the shops that will fit me. You have a great range and this is the second Tilly hat I have bought. The fit is excellent.

My hat had frayed round edges and I applied for a replacement, I was asked to destroy my hat and take a photo but I couldnt do that as the hat had too many memories for me. I was kindly told that they understood and therefore just mark it will a date inside. I received my new hat very quickly
