After holding on for 58mins, I finally got to speak with someone. Your representative was helpful and courteous to deal with, however he was to provide a telephone number in the subsequent email sent but unfortunately the number was not provided.

Charged £24.99 for property alert service. Free from HM Landregistry
Charged £24.99 for a service which is free from HM Land Registry, with no difference in ease of access or form filling. This company’s address is similar to the official HM land registry. My mistake was typing Land register rather than the correct HM Land registry - into the search engine two letters different. Even so they sent an email promising action within 1 working day - this did not happen. This is an unnecessary payment- the service of property alert is free from HM Landregistry.

We do not present ourselves as HM Land Registry, and we make it clear that official services may also be accessed directly via GOV.UK if preferred.
While we aim to act within the stated timeframe, this can occasionally vary depending on demand. If you had contacted us directly at any stage, we would have been more than happy to assist you further or review your order, including discussing a refund where appropriate.
We understand that similar naming across different websites can sometimes cause confusion, and we always encourage customers to contact us if they are unsure before placing an order.

The lovely man I spoke to was so helpful. His customer service was 10/10 and I used to work in customer service for several years.

Many properties unavailable.
I wanted to monitor a property but it’s listed as unavailable as the database postal address doesn’t match.
I also wanted to monitor a property in Scotland but now realise that the service only covers England and Wales.
When registering for the service was sent an email containing both username and password. This is very bad practice for IT security. The password can be changed at first login, however passwords should not be sent by email along with usernames.

Cancelling UKLandRegister subscription
UKLandRegister is set up to look like the official Land Registry website - but it is not. You are paying for a service which is free from the official UKLR website.
When I realised my error in registering, I couldn't cancel my credit card payment immediately. So I sent an email to the company using the information clearly provided on the website. The company has a 14-day cooling-off period. I was hopeful of a response from the company concerning cancellation and a refund.
When I heard nothing after 14 days, I disputed the charge with my credit card provider and obtained an immediate refund.
