Honest Review

This was my second loan with UK Property Finance. Whilst I had no problems with the first one, I had a few issues with the second one that I had to undertake to resolve on my own behalf. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that the person who had been my first contact, mysteriously left the company during the pandemic lockdown. Nevertheless, the person who took over, Jade Hands, did a good job to take me to completion.
Overall I would still recommend the company if you want a bridging loan.

This was handled by Alisha,who took my details and asked questions regarding the matter.

Excellent service from Jade who always


Excellent service from Jade who always replied to me very promptly. Other Finance Company I tried first were unable to progress very far due to COVID and never replied to phone calls/e-mails unless were chased up. UK Property Finance UK would definitely be my first choice if I needed another Bridging Loan.

Finance in the time of COVID.

Thanks to the team for arranging finance in the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic.It took a little longer than in normal times but it is of great credit to ukpropertyfinance.co.uk that they got the deal over the line.

Lacking the essential service element of the service

The point of a broker is to make a financial deal easier. My unfortunate experience with them is of a series of failures to communicate in a timely manner, relying on me to chase, cajole, resubmit documents and deal with not one but four account managers.

Given the loan was a short-term bridging loan, the extra six weeks it took to complete made the whole point of bridging-loan redundant.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided.

I have checked your whole case fully, including call recordings and can see no areas whatsoever where you had to chase UKPF. We were always prompt in our dealings with you and any delays, by your own admission, were caused by solicitors arranged by either you or the lender which for obvious reasons are outside our control.

You were informed from the outset both verbally and in writing that UKPF can never guarantee finance or finance in a specific timeframe and as we do not charge any upfront fees for our service, if you were unhappy, you were free to cancel the finance with us at any time prior to drawdown and without penalty. Considering the virtual closedown of the UK property finance industry due to Covid-19, where many lenders and brokers have either shut up shop or are working remotely and on vastly reduced capacities, the timeframe achieved by UKPF far surpassed current industry standards and would be applauded in most sectors.

We do not generally operate with case managers as our opening hours are still 7 days per week and until 8.30pm on weekdays, which would make this impossible. All our highly trained processing team however can act on every case and will do so multiple times daily and in your case, this happened.

Taylor Marshall gives excellent customer service.

Over the past year Taylor Marshall has given excellent customer service. I approached UK Property Finance a year ago for a bridging loan, which Taylor managed at completion stage and this month has helped me in completing on a Equity release loan to pay the bridging loan off. She worked tirelessly due to staff leaving and going off sick answering all my questions, putting up with me chasing all the time. Taylor is a fantastic asset to UK Property Finance.

I looked at 3 different companies to


I looked at 3 different companies to organise our Bridging Loan - UK Property Finance were the only company who offer to send a consultant to help complete the many forms required. Once the process started Taylor Marshal took over and managed the process to the end in a friendly efficient manor, I would have no hesitation to recommend UK PF and hopefully they will be lucky to have Taylor and her team looking after them.
