⭐ 1/5 – “Managed” VPS that is anything but managed
I purchased a one-year Managed VPS plan from UltaHost, and this has been by far the worst hosting experience I’ve ever had.
The server shuts down randomly, undergoes unexplained reconfigurations, and at one point the control panel only allowed me to start the server — no proper reboot, no control, no explanation. For a service marketed as managed, this is unacceptable and frankly absurd.
My website, which is used for a real business, has suffered multiple downtimes. The support team provides generic, copy-paste responses such as “we are investigating,” while the same issues keep happening again and again. There is no accountability, no proactive support, and no real technical competence.
To make things worse, the server IP had a poor reputation, which directly impacts reliability and email deliverability. This is something any serious hosting provider should prevent by default, yet UltaHost clearly does not.
Yes, their prices are among the cheapest on the market — but what you get in return is the most expensive outcome possible:
downtime, instability, wasted time, and complete loss of trust in the infrastructure.
I will not renew my service and am moving to a professional hosting provider. I strongly advise anyone running a production website or business to stay far away from UltaHost. This is not a hosting solution for serious use

It used to work fine in the beginning until one day the internet speed on the server dropped to below 3Mbs, I contacted the support and they requested the password, after that I lost access to the server.
Those people can't be trusted at all, the service is not reliable, in addition the windows license is expired just few weeks after we started.

Ultahost is a great service provider. I’ve been using their service for over two years and I plan to continue using it long-term in the future. They have a professional and responsive support team, and they handled my issues very well. In particular, they even suggested a better solution for me — I received support from Dextor Jason most recently. During my time using the service, I’ve rarely encountered any problems, and the infrastructure has been stable. I highly appreciate this provider.

My vps got suspended for DDOS but it was not my fault my server got ddosed by some people. Not recomended.

Ultahost is an absolute nightmare of a company, and I’m appalled at their unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I clearly requested the cancellation of all services, with a firm promise that no charges would be made. Yet, despite this confirmation, they had the audacity to charge my PayPal account AGAIN—today, of all days.
This is not just incompetence, it’s straight-up dishonesty. I’ve tried to resolve this multiple times, but it seems like they’re more interested in taking your money than actually delivering on their promises. The lack of follow-through and accountability is staggering. How can a company not honor a cancellation request? It’s a disgrace.
I will be pursuing this through every available channel, including PayPal, and I will ensure that everyone knows about this disgraceful behavior. Don’t let them fool you with empty assurances—this company clearly doesn’t care about its customers, only their wallets.
If you’re even remotely considering doing business with them, RUN. There are plenty of other hosting providers that actually respect their customers and don’t try to steal money after cancellations.
Ultahost’s service is garbage, their integrity non-existent, and their customer support a joke. Avoid at all costs.

They also trying to hide this reviews, but how you can hide it, if it's your official policy, but how people will know before they paid??

I had a great experience with Ultahost’s support team.
I initially faced a network configuration issue with my VPS, but the support team handled it professionally and efficiently from start to finish. They carefully reviewed the problem, suggested the right solution, and helped with reinstalling and relocating the VPS to a better data center location.
I would especially like to thank Dextor Jason and Lucinei Magri for their excellent support, clear communication, and patience throughout the process. They followed up properly, explained everything clearly, and made sure the server was fully operational before closing the case.
Overall, Ultahost provides reliable service and responsive, knowledgeable support. Highly recommended!

It used to be a good company, but now it's completely abandoned! I was a loyal customer for many years. I hired a new VPS today and it still hasn't been activated. It's been more than 6 hours! I created a ticket saying I no longer want the service and requested cancellation and a refund. So far they're just stalling and haven't resolved the ticket!

I purchased a VPS service located in South Korea.
However, even though I was connecting directly from within South Korea, WinMTR showed over 5% packet loss.
I reported this issue to customer support, but it was not resolved even after 48 hours.
The technical support team repeatedly lied, claiming the problem had been fixed.
This is clearly deceptive behavior toward customers, and the service quality is completely unacceptable.
Do not use this service under any circumstances.
I also posted this experience on Reddit.

I took a shared plan, for 3 years, but I kept getting Server error 503, I informed Ultahost, wrote several tickets, but they only suggested that I take a more expensive plan, so 1 Wordpress could not work well. Then I transferred the same site to another provider, and everything works great there. After that, I canceled my hosting plan, they turned everything off but they wrote to me that I could not get my money back because I took a 3-year plan, 30 days money back is only valid for the monthly and annual levels, which makes no sense, because if the user is not satisfied then 30 days money back must be valid for everything. I informed Paypal about this case and I hope they will help me, and I recommend to everyone not to take Ultahost because their servers are bad and they will have problems with refunding money. So, under no circumstances do you take Ultahost because you will be disappointed!
