I’ve been using UltaHost for a while and already had one high-end dedicated server with them (ULTA-X7 in Helsinki). Recently I ordered a second dedicated server (ULTA-X3, also Helsinki) to build a 2-node cluster in the same data center. I paid via cryptocurrency through Cryptomus.
The problems started immediately:
• The new server stayed in Pending status and was never delivered.
• Different support agents kept giving completely different answers: “1–3 days”, “waiting for hardware shipment”, “no stock”, etc.
• At one point they even offered older/weaker hardware and different locations (Madrid / Paris) instead of the Helsinki server I actually paid for.
• I spent days writing tickets and chatting with support at night while my paid developers were waiting for this server to go live.
In the end UltaHost admitted they could not provide the server I ordered. However, instead of a real refund, they only credited the amount to my UltaHost account balance and refused to return the crypto payment to my wallet, saying they “don’t refund cryptocurrency” and that this is in their policy. For me this is not a refund – it just traps my money inside their system, although they never delivered the service.
Because the second node was never delivered, my existing ULTА-X7 server also became useless for the project and I had to move the whole infrastructure to another provider and pay again. UltaHost refused to refund or compensate the already paid month for ULTА-X7.
This is my personal experience, but I think it’s important to warn others:
• Be very careful if you pay UltaHost in cryptocurrency – if something goes wrong, you may only get internal credit, not your money back.
• Don’t assume that dedicated servers and locations shown as “available” are actually in stock.
• Support replies are slow, inconsistent and often contradict each other.
I’m now trying to resolve this via the crypto payment gateway and by documenting the case with screenshots and logs. I will not be using UltaHost again and I would not recommend them to anyone who needs reliable dedicated servers or transparent refund practices.

Contraté un VPS con Ultrahost para alojar múltiples sitios web propios y de clientes. Su propio soporte técnico admitió por escrito que dañaron los permisos del sistema del servidor.
Como consecuencia, al limpiar la caché, ellos mismos eliminaron mis archivos y cambios recientes, y luego me informaron que la información es irrecuperable.
La única solución que ofrecen es restaurar una copia antigua, lo que implica pérdida total de trabajo. Además, me indicaron que debo reconstruir todo manualmente, a pesar de que el error fue causado por ellos.
Esto ocasionó daños graves a mi trabajo y al de mis clientes. No ofrecen una solución real, solo disculpas.
No recomiendo este servicio bajo ningún motivo.

Contraté un VPS con Ultrahost. Su propio soporte causó la pérdida de todos mis datos y cambios recientes (incluyendo mi Script Multipaste/CINEMEGA y enlaces de reproductores) al manipular los permisos del servidor.
Negligencia en el Acceso: Mi usuario y contraseña fueron cambiados sin mi permiso.
Contradicción: El soporte niega haber hecho cambios, pero no puede explicar el cambio de contraseña ni el idioma de mi web.
Negativa del Script: El operador Justin Smith me indica que "contacte a mi desarrollador" porque no ve opción para restablecer la contraseña de CINEMEGA, negándose a solucionar el daño que ellos causaron en la infraestructura.
Solución Inútil: Solo ofrecen restaurar una copia de seguridad antigua que implica la pérdida total de mi trabajo reciente.
No ofrecen una solución real y demuestran negligencia al rechazar solucionar el daño que hicieron a mi script. No recomiendo este servicio.

The prices for shared hosting are very good, and they offer many options.
In addition, the technical support is excellent, very fast, they resolve issues quickly and with great courtesy.
It's one of the best experiences I've had, and it's exactly what I'm looking for: reliable, secure, affordable hosting with fast technical support.

I do not recommend Ultrahost. My experience has been deeply disappointing and financially unfair.
I started my VPS service on September 11. On November 6, my account was suddenly suspended for a complex technical reason I never fully understood. While my service was completely inactive and inaccessible, Ultrahost proceeded to charge me for the next billing cycle on November 8.
I immediately submitted a cancellation request before the due date of November 11, as I could no longer use or trust the service. Despite this, my request for a refund for the period I paid for but could not use was denied.
Customer support, specifically an agent named Jayce, informed me I was "not eligible for a refund." When I explained the situation—that I was charged while my account was suspended—I was given the runaround and told "another department" would look into it, with no further resolution.
In short: They suspended my service, charged me for it anyway, and then refused to refund the payment for the unusable time. Avoid this host if you want reliable service and fair billing practices.

I had a highly technical and complex server issue requiring a complete server rebuild and critical Magento 2.4.7 performance tuning. My experience with the UltaHost L3 Support Team, particularly Gary Clarke, was exceptional.
Unlike many support teams that stop at basic issues, Gary and the L3 team demonstrated genuine, deep expertise. They successfully navigated and implemented several advanced requirements:
Complete Server Rebuild while preserving the complex requirements (PHP 8.2, MySQL 8, Redis integration).
Resolving recurring file permission and ownership issues that plagued our previous deployment.
Proactively setting up crucial firewall rules and security measures (IP blocking).
The team delivered a stable, clean, and optimized Magento environment, which finally allowed us to move forward with our project after weeks of delays.
If you have a complex or high-stakes technical environment like Magento, I highly recommend reaching out to the L3 support tier at UltaHost and asking for Gary Clarke. Their professional, persistent, and expert-level assistance was invaluable.

I am extremely disappointed with UltraHost’s service and support.
When I first joined, their team clearly assured me that I would get over 500 Mbps speed from India if I hosted my server in Singapore (Asia region). Later, they even suggested upgrading from VPS to VDS to achieve “better and faster” performance in the same region. Based on their recommendation, I upgraded — but now I am getting only around 4 Mbps upload speed from India.
When I reported this issue, the support team said it’s “not their fault” and closed my ticket instead of resolving it.
My ticket reference is #901959.
To make things worse, my Indian server (also hosted with UltraHost) is now giving less than 10 Mbps speed as well. This clearly shows that the problem is not with my location or internet, but with their overall network performance.
Their changing statements, wrong commitments, and lack of accountability have caused me a lot of trouble and wasted time. I no longer trust their promises and will be shifting my services elsewhere.
Be careful before choosing UltraHost — their commitments about speed and reliability are not accurate.

Depuis peu sur Ultahost, je constate que la réactivité des techniciens est vraiment rapide et très conviviale !
Côté serveur, je loue un serveur pour le jeu Dayz, avec pas mal de mods et mappings, et je ne vois aucun problème sur les performances actuelles.
Je conseille vivement de prendre un abonnement chez Ultahost, à la fois pour les prestations qui restent correctes, mais aussi la qualité de retours sur mes exigences, qui peuvent être gênantes pour les techniciens. Leurs retours sont toujours positifs et dans l'attente de mes souhaits !

I strongly advise against using Ultahost for any critical or production workload. My experience was disastrous.
After being assured that no data would be deleted, Ultahost erased an entire server without notice or consent. I was never informed that the server was “temporary,” yet they later used that excuse to deny responsibility. When I requested details, logs, or even a minimal incident explanation, the higher-level support (L4) refused to share any information and confirmed that all data was lost permanently.
No refund, no transparency, no accountability — and they ignored the explicit written instruction not to delete any data.
This is not a professional hosting company. If you value your work, data, or trust in service agreements, stay away from Ultahost.
