This company really cares. I've got a Voyager, and it is by far the best combination of fast and light on the market right now. Range is excellent, and the app is pretty much the highlight of the experience (very Apple-like). I like not having to worry about my tires puncturing, and I've never had trouble getting ahold of customer service. Scrolled through some of the reviews here, and I've always gotten a response, by email, within a couple hours. They even sent me ad-hoc parts at no charge when I asked. If there's one improvement I hope for the next generation of scooter its that they add a built in mount for my phone on the scooter. After all, I can keep up with friends that are on bikes, but I don't like having to stop to pull out my phone for directions. I will be keeping my Voyager for sure, and will probably grab another one for my wife.

I have been writing emails from a month and no one responds to them now. And the chat option on the website is really bad as there is no live agent and chatbot isn't good enough to provide such resolutions. If such services persist I'll be obligated to take a legal action.

Scooters are not well built. They tend to only last 300-500 miles until things really start to break apart.
The speed used to go 20mph when unlocked but after the recent firmware update. It's stuck 16 at most and auto brakes when you go down hill to keep it under 16mph.
I do not recommend buying it refurbished either.
Considering the price range of the scooters. I would expect greater quality. The scooter I use from Unagi is the Voyager (the successor to Model One)
It costs me $84/monthly
$10 more because I opted for using brand new scooter.
And $5 for theft insurance.
Customer service is very tedious and slow. It's all AI based. No more phone calls. The only way to reach a customer service representative is through email.
And even that's not easy to find their information. The customer service is also not really good. They closed a ticket of mine without fully answering a question about the firmware I had about them.
The cost to buy a Model One Voyager is $1490.
Honestly not worth it.
There are plenty of scooters with similar to better features that I've found and am going to switch to. For a fraction of the price. I've seen scooter around $500 out perform this one.
The tires are pnuematic? So are many other scooters.
This scooter doesn't have any shock absorbers so you feel all of the road and it's not good for non smooth roads. The only decent thing is the 1000W power and acceleration. But even that's pretty mid, especially for the pride range. plus all that acceleration only to get limited to 16mph. Ok.
The horn is pretty trash too. It's so quiet and weak. In the span of my subscription time so far. Which is about 2 years. I've received about 7 scooters. One replacement arrived dead on arrival. And some one fell apart while using it around the 500mi mark
Another only lasted 300 ish miles and the breaks started giving out.
And the last one I'm replacing because the handle bar and the base board junction became loose and causes the wheel to be unaligned, making it dangerous to operate. (it's been 5 days since I opened a ticket for a replacement via email. Still no update. No tracking# and the status on the replacement is still unshipped. )
I strongly do not recommend this company and I would never buy these scooters brand new.

Itâs a no for me. I got the 80dollar scooter for the upgrade. I didnât read the fine print, found out the scooter is 20KM and not Mph. So itâs slower than your average biker. Also I hit a small bump and the thing is t turning on. Writhing 3-4 days of riding it. Not worth it.

So I signed up to rent a unagi voyager. But it's been almost a week and still no shipment. But if I want it faster coz they're low on refurbished ones I have to order a brand new one. So I did but the problem was I ordered a latte on refurbished one. So I thought it's gonna carry that order out. Nope I received a mist green one. This company, Unagi, asks for a review and to refer them to my friends⊠to spread the word⊠Iâm a college student and I am a part of a community where word gets around. Unfortunately for Unagi, Iâve had nothing but negative feedback about them⊠each month the company gives me a credit due too many inconveniences âlike for 1) when I got my scooter the battery was faulty, causing me to be stranded and lugging around a heavy scooter. 2) Firmware update causing the e-scooter functions to not work as Unagi has promised and advertises. 3) Customer service is just not there. Iâve reach out many times to Ungai in regard to this issue with the scooters function and they seem to not want to communicate or be transparent about issues.
This company advertises that this scooter will make your life easier by efficient transportation so you wonât have to worry. However, since Iâve had this scooter, I can say, my life has been more inconvenienced and I find myself worrying more. If this company isnât able to be honest, transparent, and uphold what they advise and promise, then they need to go or do better!!

There is no other company like Unagi when it comes to the quality and efficiency, that's why it made me upset when they were falling back on their promise... however, today they are writing their wrongs, and I look forward to the promise set forth as this commenter has stated.
