Bought a 2 year subscription in April 2022 after seeing Unlocator's SmartDns channel support list which listed support for Australian TV channels. It worked at first and I wrote a favorable review on Trustpilot. However, after a few months, SmartDns stopped working for Australian TV Channels and I had to file for support. Throughout my subscription I have had to file for support numerous times and have barely managed to use this service. As at the date of this writing, service has not been restored for Australian TV channels despite waiting for MONTHS. Why claim to work for Australian TV channels when it doesn't? I hope the company will at least stop doing that as it misleads subscribers into paying for a service that is not able to deliver on what it claims to do.

If I could give Zero stars I would. I subscribed to them in early October of this year for their smartDNS services.
Right from the get go neither the UK or Australia channels worked on my Apple TVs or computer. I thought, OK, Ill give it a little bit to process. About 30min later the UK channels were working, but none of the AU ones did. I sent a message to CS, they got back to me asking for screenshots of this & that. I sent them a screenshot of Channel 10 with it showing that I wasnt in region to watch anything on the site. Even tho my account for Channel 10 shows im in NSW. They come back to me saying they are looking into it & will get back with me.
his was TWO weeks ago & not a word back yet.
As of right now Oct 29th 2023 neither the UK or Australian channels work for me on any device.

I had tried them, just to try another service. BUT,There are better smartDNS services out there. I suggest you go look around before you subscribe to this one.

I have been using Unlocator for 2 years and their quality of service and quick responses has been great. Their frontline reps are helpful and find answers quickly.

Communication is a two-way street. Mallik has been precise and easy to follow in requests for information, and consistently prompt in responding to me. Having been long term customer’s we recently had a little blip with our service. After contacting Unlocator via the chat service Mallik responded to us and guided us through first steps to get reinstated. When we were unable to get it all working we were offered a teamviewer appointment where he took over control of our computer and very quickly solved the problem. Very happy with this service!

Unlocator has stepped up thier game over the last year or so. If you where thinking of trying Unlocator in the past, but didn't? Now is the time to start! I love it, easy to use, no dropping! It's great!

I have been using Unlocator for years and love it. It is always reliable and works seamlessly. Their customer service is the best ! I would give them 10 stars if I could. I rarely have issues and if I do it is on my end, setting up new equipment or changing account details. They always respond rapidly and will work with me till my problem is solved. This last time Mallik helped me solved my problem easily and quickly. Thank you Mallik!

I have used Unlocator for years without issue. A month ago, I started experiencing blacked out MLB games, so I reached out to customer service. My issues took some time to resolve, but they fixed them. Their communication was friendly and thorough, and I’m a happy customer.

Very prompt with answering my queries.
Were happy to freeze my subscription until i required to use unlock.

I subscribed to a different plan my mistake and I had to cancel my subscription and get a refund. They were quick to respond to my request for plan cancellation and refund.

Suddenly, the unlocator service stopped working. I use unlocator with MLB but now MLB will not open on my smart TV or my PC with unlocator running. And unlocator is unable to solve this problem, even though I am using it in precisely the way that they advertise. They have advised me that they have given up. What a shame. They provided the service for several years but now, apparently, they are unable to do so. I had to cancel the service.

I've been using Unlocator DNS for a few years to access blacked out MLB games. I recently had an issue but they resolved it very quickly. Thanks!

Anscheinend nutzen noch nicht so viele Deutsche das Angebot, daher auch von mir ein Kommentar.
SmartDNS ist ideal, um ausländische Streaming-Dienste oder auch Fernsehsender ohne Beschränkungen ansehen zu können.
Ich selber schaue mehrere Sender bzw. Online-Datenbanken aus U.K. (z.B. Channel4), Schweden (z.B. svtplay) und Finnland (z.B. yle Areena).
Für Finnland ist Unlocator m.W. sogar der einzige Anbieter!
Wichtiger Unterschied zu VPN: Es gibt keinerlei Geschwindigkeitseinbußen, weil der Hauptdatenverkehr nicht umgeleitet wird über andere Server, man kann also die volle Bandbreite seiner Internetverbindung nutzen.
Ein Anbieter, den ich gern nutzen würde, wird nicht unterstützt (URPlay), hier habe ich den Support angeschrieben und noch am gleichen Tag eine Reaktion bekommen, Respekt :)
Noch ein Tip: Wenn man sich nicht sicher ist, welcher SmartDNS Anbieter der richtige für einen ist, kann man die gewünschten Sender auch in einer Vergleichsdatenbank abfragen:

So kann man unliebsame Überraschungen vermeiden.
Einziger Minuspunkt: Für einen Test des Anbieters Unlocator muß man seine Zahlungsdaten hinterlegen, es gibt keinen "7 day free trial" mehr!
Alles andere würde ich positiv bewerten, die große Auswahl der Streaminganbieter und der Kundenservice ist hervorragend.
Wenn wirklich URPlay hinzugefügt wird, würde ich evtl. sogar ein Jahresabo abschließen.

I have been using Unlocator for several years; it works very well the vast majority of the time, and whenever there is a problem the support staff addresses the problem promptly. I have recommended Unlocator to many of my friends.

I've been using Unlocator for years to get blacked out games on MLB.TV. Their customer service is excellent--they always address the issue (few issues, but occasionally) and fix them. Recommend them highly.

Whenever I have a problem connecting to a particular website via Unlocator, the company has been very professional and knowledgeable in fixing it. I appreciate that.

Have used this solution to watch blacked-out MLB.TV games for three years. There was an issue, tonight and they provided a solution within 3 minutes via E-mail. Would recommend this solution to definitely save $$ and cut the cable cord!

I've been with the Unlocator VPN for 5 years now and have been very pleased. It allows me to stream sports events without being "blacked out." And the few times I needed help/tech support, their responses were very quick.
