Three guys came first thing in the rain, all were friendly and approachable worked out the best route for the wires and completed the works quickly and efficiently couldnât ask for more would recommend them again.
All the guys that came out to connect us were lovely, however we did have a 2 month delay. Not such an issue as our old contract/ provider was still in place but if we'd just moved home this would have been very frustrating. We didn't get update on when we would be connected. A team just turned up. Customer services couldn't provide much of an update either when chased.
Too early to comment on the speeds/ reliability as it's only been 1 day, but first impressions are good and the routers are nicely designed. The teams that came out were very tidy workers and left everything clean.
They have been really helpful from start to finish with the installation. Even when there was an issue with brining the Fibre cable to the property due to a collapsed pipe, Upp ensured the get a team out to repair the damages, and get the cable laid. Even when the fault existed on a neighbor's drive way, they completed the repair within a day, and restored my neighbor's drive to the exact same standard that they found. All the way through the process their customer service team have been extremely helpful, open, and transparent about everything. So glad to now have 900mbps fibre to my property, when our previous supplier informed that it wasnt on their radar.
I had an issue with my broadband yesterday and within a few hours it was being looked at.
Nathan and Bill came out the same day to check the issue out.
They couldnât do the repair on the spot but came back at 8am this morning and fixed it within half an hour.

From the initial day of deciding to change to fibre broadband Upp have provided nothing but 1st class service from the sales person, through to Customer Services, civil engineers and Deon, Upp Field Engineering Supervisor (Norfolk).
Kirsty, Control & Dispatch Planner, Field Service Logistics continued with our application and this lady went above and beyond the call of duty to help. She answered our silly questions, explained clearly what was happening and kept us fully informed, even to the extent of personally calling us when she had any updated news. Due to her help we had the perfect ending today of being connected to Upp fibre broadband. The lovely engineers, Michael and Iain, came this morning, arrived on time and finished the job of connection. When Michael came in to do the internal work he was chatty, polite and certainly knew his stuff. He set our tv up for us and also the Linksys App. I actually managed to do our computers myself after watching Michael do our tv. Would we recommend Upp to family and friends? 100%

From start to finish a great experience with Upp. Deon and Michael did a great job with the installation - and a special mention to Deon who went the extra mile with an extra visit to agree cable routing before install day. The Broadband is absolutely perfect.
I had issues from the start with Upp Broadband. The salesman who sold us the broadband over promised and well under delivered. The package we were put on was very different to that in which the salesman sold to us. Complained about this and the customer service team did offer 1 month free broadband and a promise the sales team would be better educated.
The installation team were not on time and were in fact so late, they tried to come when I was out the country. Finally got it installed and they left around 40 metres of excess cable at the front of my property. The broadband was spot on and the lad installing it was great also. He explained why he had left the excess cable and promised to pop back
Complained again when no one returned for the customer service team to say it would be dealt with as soon as possible.
5 months and three complaints on and we still have 40m of excess cable attached to the front of our property.
Over promised and under delivered in almost every area.
The broadband though is spot on and copes fine. Extra bonus is the extra hub.
After 6 months of problems UPP were able to install fibre optic to our remote property.
Michael the primary installer was professional & friendly, as were his associates, as a large problematic farmhouse we knew it could be tricky.
So far so good, needs some tweaking butð€, if successful our neighbours will become your customers
Had a couple of problems with the ducting outside the house for feeding the cables. Where other providers just said they couldn't do anything upp got the problems sorted. It took a bit of time but they got it sorted and got us up and running with communication throughout. Now connected and great speed.
Offered a really great deal to have fibre broadband installed for free with the lowest cost for a 2 year contract and guaranteed no price rises mid contract. Having suffered from a poor 4g network signal due to our rural location, on all networks, thus a very slow internet connection it was most welcome to suddenly have 20 times the speed over fibre for virtually the same cost. The only fly in the ointment was the time it took to get it installed as, being in a rural village, the lines had to come across the road from the electricity pole and it seems that someone in 'admin' had overlooked the fact that it needed a licence from the power company to do so. However my one email to UPP about the schedule confirmed that the deal would be honoured in full no matter how long it took to install the cables and profuse apologies were offered for the delay caused. The wait was worth it however when, nine weeks after the first, cancelled, appointment Michael and his team turned up, with 'cherry picker', on the coldest, frostiest, morning of the year so far and completed the entire installation in only two hours. Every care was taken to ensure the site was left clean and safe, that the routers were working properly and that I had all the information I needed about using them. Can't praise them enough for the care they took to ensure that any disruption to our, already chaotic, household was minimised and that the installation was a complete success. The entire process was explained and agreed before they started to ensure that we were happy with how they were proposing to install it. So far the UPP broadband service has outperformed my expectations, with none of the lag or buffering of the 4G data connection, so well pleased with the result.
Had Upp for a few weeks now, but early on Saturday morning the fibre line developed a fault. Tried to contact them via email, online chat and phone numerous times but they donât seem to work over the weekend, meaning the fault wonât be fixed until working hours on Monday at the earliest.
As I work remotely this is far from ideal. Due to the non-existent weekend support, I would caution against using Upp for anyone doing anything critical or who relies on a reliable internet connection.

I had Deon and Micheal install my broadband today. What can I say? Best customer service Iâve received for as long as I can remember. There were some initial issues with installing the service but this was NOT UPPs fault. Caused by the builders but sorted by Deon and his team. Communication while sorting this was excellent and it felt like a completely personal service.
Installed today and itâs so FAST! They left everything clean and tidy and even moved my sofa back. Lovely men and top service. They deserve some recognition. Many thanks Micheal and Deon!
Booking the installation was easy enough. I took day off work for the appointment, contacted UPP on the day as I hadn't received any notification of an ETA and was told that the appointment had been cancelled. This was due to a blockage in the openreach ducts which meant they couldn't feed their own cable through to my property. I understand this would be beyond their control, but I wasn't very happy that I had to contact UPP to find out the appointment was cancelled. After a month I can say that the broadband has now been installed, the speeds are fantastic and I can't fault them on helping to get this resolved (as I had cancelled my Internet with my previous ISP prior to the original appointment). They are a new company and always learning, just remember communication is key!
