No free returns..
No free returns... I haven't had much opportunity to test the clothes out much because I got them at the end of this past summer (including clearance sale). So far, I like the colors/prints but can't speak on their wear. I will, however, say I'm disappointed they don't have free returns/exchanges. Wasn't aware of that before I made my purchase and that's risky with online buying. Spent $8.00 to mail back a clearance item for exchange so I essentially bought it for full price. Because of this, I highly doubt I'll continue shopping here.

Very durable expensive and funky sunwear
UVSkins offer quality sunwear which is very durable. My reason for the three stars is two things - some of the color combinations are funky, fadish, and frankly repulsive. Secondly, the prices are very high. UVSkins appeals to a more traditional or conservative group of customers with large families. I'd like to see sales/ prices and styles that recognize their traditional following. We buy your swimwear because it'll last through a couple of kid's use but we only buy from your meager sales (because that's what we can afford and really 30% off of the retail price is what I would expect to pay at retail not on sale) which usually just ends up being leftovers of mismatched stuff and the result just doesn't look nice (think color vomit) yet, the total cost is still high. We're walking ads for UVSkins...

It is too short for a 6’ 2” guy. If I wear it correctly it doesn’t Go up my arm far enough. Fits great if I don’t put my thumb in the hole and wear it only down to my wrist.

Beautiful swim tops
Beautiful swim tops - we call them 'rashies' here is Australia where everyone wears them to prevent skin cancer - we are the skin cancer capital of the world!! Would be nice if they were a little longer for taller women. However, I understand the length needs to be generic for production purposes. So happy to see the USA market getting into this type of swim wear.

I really Love your product but too much Duty,Tariffs and taxes to import to Canada
I really Love your product, It is well made and has great design.
I am a very sensitive sun with fair skin and love the outdoors.
I can't believe your one of a few making high quality UV sun wear.
My only problem was that I purchased a few items to go on a trip to maui and received them only to find out I had to pay an enormous amount of duty, tariffs and taxes almost $100.00 to get my new UVskinz from the post office! I live in British Columbia Canada and shopped on your web site getting some great deal on sale stuff and bought some regular stuff too because it is a great product. they charged me 18% on the US $ stated value not sale price. Making my great deal on great stuff not such a great deal! I was going to outfit the whole family but cannot afford to spend my hard earned Canadian dollars on cross border shopping. :(
I will not be able to recommend this great product to any one in Canada as the price becomes Gucci pricing with Duty,Tariffs, processing fee and taxes.

I am sorry to hear that the duties/taxes assessed to your order by Canadian Customs officials were done incorrectly, due to our mistake. We take full responsibility for neglecting to change the order total to the price that reflects the sale items. This was an oversight that unfortunately happened on your order but is not reflective of the usual UV Skinz protocol. In an effort to make this situation right, we have refunded your shipping cost as well as applied an additional 15% discount to your order in the hopes that this refund would compensate for the over-charge of the value assessed by customs.
